Chapter 2559 – A Blue Flower

Fiend Lord Lei Jue roared in fury and leaped into the fray, tyrannical beyond measure.

This time, he really didn’t retreat.

A moment later, he was flung ruthlessly back, his body almost shattering on impact. Countless minute, bloody gashes tore open all over his skin.

The crowd watched in astonishment as that streak of sword qi hurtled through the sky as if intent on overturning heaven and earth. It brought with it endlessly tyrannical power, sending Fiend Lord Lei Jue flying on impact.

Before he’d even managed to steady himself on his feet, his physical body split with a spray of blood.

His soul had only just managed to escape when he realized that he was too late to escape that boundless flood of sword qi.

“I’m finished!” Fiend Lord Lei Jue looked on in horror as his hopes turned to ash. He would never have guessed that a sword cultivator from the outside world would be this unreasonably strong.

He certainly hadn’t expected that, despite being strong enough to threaten Half-Step Eternals, he’d face lethal danger after less than seven attacks.

“His Excellency Lei Jue…” Ming Ke and the three-tailed woman felt their hearts clench. The blood drained from their faces.

Su Yi’s eyebrows rose, and he gazed into the distance. There, he saw count blue arcs interweaving into a human figure, a man in robes the color of jade. He looked almost like an ordinary human being.

His only unusual feature was the strange blue flower imprint at the center of his forehead.

When he appeared, he raised his hand and tapped the air. The blue flower enveloping Fiend Lord Lei Jue transformed into a rain of light and fused into his body.

“Thank you, Chang Liu.” Fiend Lord Lei Jue had been saved from otherwise certain doom, and his voice quivered slightly with lingering terror.

He’d thought he was dead for sure!

Fiend Lord Chang Liu said, “Rest for now. I’ll deal with him.”

As he spoke, he fixed his gaze on the distant Su Yi.

His expression shifted, as if his gaze could now encompass the entire blue dome of heaven. It was boundless, deep, and heavy.

His aura silently rose, and the countless blue arcs that made up his body spread, blanketing the sky and blotting out the sun.

The chaos fiends were instantly excited.

Liao Yuanshan and the other Master Gods, meanwhile, exchanged glances. Their hearts were heavy.

Their savior hadn’t even killed Fiend Lord Lei Jue, yet another powerful chaos fiend had arrived. The Heaven-Combating Hidden Realm had seven Chaos Kings and eight Fiend Lords! Most had yet to arrive. If things went on like this, the situation would only get worse and worse.

But Su Yi wasn’t at all concerned. He just said calmly, “Just you?”

Fiend Lord Chang Liu said, “Of course not.”

Su Yi subtly inclined his head. “Want to wait a bit, then?”

Fiend Lord Chang Liu was stunned, but then, he seemed to grasp Su Yi’s intentions. He furrowed his brow. “Are you sure?”

“I’ve always hated trouble,” Su Yi said calmly. “It would be best if I could deal with it all at once. It would prevent further delays.”

Fiend Lord Chang Liu was so angry that he almost laughed. This guy is far too arrogant! He doesn’t take the chaos fiends of our Heaven-Combating Hidden Realm the least bit seriously!

“Chang Liu, don’t get complacent. When I fought that guy, he never once used any external treasures, and I suspect he’s yet to use his full power. Whatever you do, you must be careful!” Fiend Lord Lie Jue transmitted a warning. He was worried that Chang Liu would suffer the same way he had.

Fiend Lord Chang Liu inclined his head. He wasn’t stupid; after seeing Fiend Lord Lei Jue’s wretched state, he knew that this human sword cultivator was no pushover.

“Since you chose this yourself, why shouldn’t I satisfy your request?” Fiend Lord Chang Liu said coldly. “But I can say with certainty that you’ll die an unsightly death today!”

All of the chaos fiends in the area gathered together and readied themselves for battle, seething with murderous intent.

Liao Yuanshan and the other Master Gods felt chills course through their hearts. Their brows were fraught with worry.

But Su Yi just laughed, not the least bit concerned, and took out a jug of wine.

He drank as if there were no one else around, as carefree as ever.
