Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4316: Resplendent Citadels! II

Chapter 4316: Resplendent Citadels! II

The Early Veiled Shore was a continent of impossible, vibrant life- a sanctuary forged in the heart of Existence that was, for the most part, a cold and unforgiving thing.

Noah stood upon the golden sands, a silent, unmoving pillar in the midst of a symphony of glory!

From his very being, from the boundless blue ocean of his Infinite Mana, a thousand delicate, surgical tendrils of pure, liquid energy surged!

At this moment.

His gaze was turned inward.

An appreciative observation of the new, magnificent architecture of his own existence.

He looked at his Early Atlas of the Folds, and then at the grand Resplendent Citadels that now rose on it!

Their features were so grand that they had to be implemented right away!

"The first order of business," his voice was a low, resonant hum that was for him and him alone, "is to lay the foundation."

HUUM!

His will was the command.

Across the vast, impossible expanse of his domain, his one hundred and fifty-nine Resplendent Citadels, the very engines of his burgeoning Civilization, roared to life.

In the Radiant Shore, eighteen of the white-gold and obsidian Sacred Totems, which had stood as silent sentinels for a short period of time, began to change.

It was not a slow, grinding transformation. It was a bloom of a ridiculously violent, beautiful genesis.

A Magisterial genesis!

The very substance of the Totems, a fusion of his own authority and the Shore’s primordial essence, was rewritten.

They stretched upward, their forms elongating, their structures becoming more complex, more... intentional.

Great, swirling rings of pure, cerulean mana materialized around each one, spinning with a silent, hypnotic grace.

They were like the rings of a gas giant, a celestial halo that declared these were not mere towers, but nexuses of a new, cosmic power.

Citadels!

Oh, glorious Citadels!

The Citadels themselves were masterpieces of a new, impossible architectural style. They were not the brutalist, functional designs of the Justiciars or the archaic, primal grandeur of Aethelgard.

They were sleek, elegant spires of a shimmering, blue-white material that seemed to be woven from solidified light and pure, unadulterated Mana.

At their very peaks, the unique colors of their individual authorities... the deep purple of Tyranny, the colorless, absolute light of Quintessence, the bottomless blue of Infinity... burned like watchful stars.

As the eighteen Citadels in the Shore solidified, their transformation complete, the remaining one hundred and forty-one followed suit.

Across the boundless, internal expanse of the Infiniverse, in some forming Fold across Frequencies, on some designated Wheel of Existence brought in...a Resplendent Citadel rose, a silent, beautiful testament to his will!

One Hundred and Fifty-Nine [Resplendent Citadels] are being forged across your budding Civilization.

Your Civilization now has its foundational engines. The Way of the Mana Architect is no longer a theory; it is a reality.

Noah stood amidst the eighteen newly forged Citadels on his Shore, their collective presence a low, powerful hum that resonated in his very bones. And then, he gave his next command!

"Activate the Domain of Accelerated Evolution."

HUUM!

The eighteen Citadels answered as one. Their spinning, cerulean rings of mana flared with a brilliant, blinding light.

Beams of pure, conceptual energy shot from their peaks, not outward, but inward, converging on a single point high above the Radiant Shore.

There, in the luminous, featureless sky, a new, impossible structure began to form. It was an intricate outline of an expanding sphere!

A great, looping structure of shimmering, cerulean plates, each one the size of a continent, began to spin and weave around a central, non-existent point, forming a hollow, celestial sphere that now encapsulated the entire Early Veiled Shore.

It was a breathtaking, terrifying, and beautiful cage of pure, conceptual power.

Through the gaps in the swirling plates, one could see the Shore within, now bathed in a soft, blue light, a jewel in the heart of an existential engine!

The [Domain of Accelerated Evolution] is being established.

Primary Function: This Domain is a temporal-existential accelerator. It draws upon the collective power of the eighteen networked Citadels to create a localized field of hyper-accelerated growth.

Boon of the Architect: All beings within this Domain will find their journey on the [Way of the Mana Architect]... expedited. The progression from Edict 0 to Edict 7 will now occur at a rate one thousand times faster than the standard progression.

Secondary Boon: The Domain is a font of pure, refined Mana. A constant, gentle rain of conceptual energy will now fall upon the Shore, providing a passive, continuous source of nourishment for all inhabitants.

...!

Oh!

The moment the prompts faded, the effect began.

Sigrid, Moiraine, and the others, who had been watching in silent awe, gasped as a new, profound wave of power washed over them.

From the swirling, cerulean sphere above, a gentle, shimmering rain of pure, liquid Mana began to fall.

It was a soft, beautiful, and utterly glorious downpour!

They felt the Mana seep into their very beings, their own, newly-formed Mana Loci drinking it in with a ravenous, joyful thirst.

In a quiet corner of the Shore, a tiny, almost imperceptible figure floated.

Khor.

The First Hunger

She had been observing the grand display with a faint, almost nostalgic smile. As if she was seeing the beginning of...THE.

THE!

But as the rain of Mana began to fall, her expression changed. A new, more profound, and utterly ravenous light entered her abyssal eyes.

"Outsider," she said, her voice a low, melodic hum that was filled with a primal, ancient hunger. "The authority you are exuding is... quite delicious. It would be extremely beneficial for me to break my seals and return to my old power. Since there seems to be so much... I will see if I can feed my Hunger."

Noah smiled, a grand, tyrannical expression.

"Go ahead."

...!

Khor’s smile was a thing of terrible, beautiful hunger. She opened her mouth.

WAP!

She closed it.

And in that single, infinitesimal instant, the Existence changed!

Oh, existence changed!
