Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4317: Resplendent Citadels! III

Chapter 4317: Resplendent Citadels! III

The glorious, torrential rain of Mana, the very atmosphere of the Shore which had been thick with a power so dense it was almost liquid...vanished.

90% of it, gone. Devoured!

The First Hunger has... partaken.

90% of the ambient Mana within the [Domain of Accelerated Evolution] has been consumed.

Analysis: That was the equivalent of the total energy output of an entire Fold. Consumed. In an instant.

The Engines of your Civilization are responding...

The eighteen Resplendent Citadels, which had been humming with a quiet, steady power, now roared to life.

Their cerulean rings spun faster, a blur of pure, conceptual energy.

The Citadels pulsed, a single, unified heartbeat, and...

HUUM!

The Mana returned. Instantly!

The rain began to fall again, the air grew thick with power, as if the last few seconds had never happened.

Energy reserves have been replenished. The Engines of your Civilization burn strong.

Khor blinked, a look of genuine, profound surprise on her ancient, youthful face. She looked at Noah, then at the Citadels, then back at Noah.

"Outsider," she said, her voice filled with a new, deeper level of awe, "that was the energy of an entire Fold I swallowed just now... and your towers here can fill it up again just like that?"

Noah’s smile was a slow, cold, and utterly tyrannical thing. "I have said it before, didn’t I? A Civilization... is a garden. And my garden is very, very fertile!"

WAA!

Khor stared at him for a long, silent moment.

Then she laughed, a sound of pure, unadulterated delight.

She opened her mouth again, and this time, she did not just take a bite.

She drank. A river of pure, azure Mana flowed from the very air and into her, a willing, endless tribute to her primordial hunger!

Her endlessly dark eyes, for the first time, began to be filled with a faint, almost imperceptible, blue light.

Noah watched her, then turned his gaze away.

The Existential Engineering was a success.

Now, for the Existential Weaving.

"RUIN/EDEN," he commanded. "Let us begin."

Understood, Master. Please, follow me.

The holographic figure of his System appeared, a silent, graceful guide in this realm of his own making.

She led him to the base of one of the eighteen Resplendent Citadels. The doors, a seamless expanse of the azure-white material, opened with a silent, willing hum.

They stepped inside. The interior was a vast, cathedral-like space, its walls a shimmering, ever-shifting display of pure, informational light.

At its very center, a new, more profound structure hummed. It was a nexus of nine colossal, metallic blue rings, each one spinning in a different, impossible direction, their orbits intersecting in a way that should have been chaotic, but was instead a perfect, harmonious dance.

At the very heart of this dance, a single point of pure, creative energy pulsed. This was the forge!

"This, Master," RUIN/EDEN said, her voice a quiet, reverent whisper, "is where you can engage in Existential Weaving. What would you like to do? Replicate a known material, or forge a new one?"

Noah’s gaze was fixed on the swirling, creative heart of the forge. His voice was a low, dangerous, and utterly tyrannical command.

"Forge a new one. Based entirely on Mana."

...!

HUUM!

The nine rings spun faster. Beams of pure, cerulean brilliance converged from all around, striking the central point.

A new, terrible, and glorious process began.

THUMP!

It felt...like a booming beating heart as the concentrated beans of blue light smashed onto each other at tbe very center.

As if dense atomic particles were smashing onto each other at high speeds!

THUMP!

Arcs of light emerged with every passing second as in a short period of time...

In the heart of that creative storm, RUIN/EDEN reached in.

"..."

Noah looked over with sharp eyes.

She pulled forth a single, perfect ingot of a new metal.

It was a beautiful, terrible thing, its surface a swirling, liquid azure that seemed to contain the light of a billion nascent wheels.

It was not just a metal; it was a concept, a law, a new fundamental truth of his existence.

"I call it... [Tyrannical Mana-Born Adamant]," RUIN/EDEN declared, her voice a proud, triumphant proclamation.

"It is not just a material, Master; it is an extension of your own will. It is conceptually ’true,’ meaning it cannot be broken, bent, or unmade by any authority that is not your own. It is the perfect material for a Tyrant. It is the best metal."

Noah nodded.

"Form even more," he commanded. "It shall be used to reforge and enhance my Mana-Born Living Existential Armor."

Understood, Master.

He stood, watching as the forge roared to life again, his eyes luminous with a new, profound understanding.

He was doing a great deal, and he was doing it rapidly. But... would it be enough? Would it be enough to tip the scales of what was coming?

Because he was getting powerful, but he knew that even the Early Creatures that were currently living in the era of the Earliest Folds that his other body was in... even they did not remain stationary.

He considered himself an anomaly that exponentially advanced across the stages of power, but other existences had eons!

From all the way to the Earliest Folds until now, entities like Forgemaster Vulcan or others who had thousands of Quadrillions of Purity and Complexity... such power could be doubled or tripled if not more.

Nobody remained stationary. He was not the only one that advanced!

So he had to keep moving forward as it wss better to overestimate than to underestimate!

As he thought this, RUIN/EDEN’s voice was a soft, almost casual, interruption.

"Oh, by the way, Master. That Schrodinger is looking to meet with you. He is currently hanging around the Infiniverse with that Leonore Rureaux. Your distinction as The Early Creature has begun to spread due to your Sparks."

Noah’s gaze sharpened.

"Oh?" he said, his voice a quiet, dangerous note in the humming silence of the forge.

He thought of the Schrodinger from the past, the defeated, apathetic Living Concept. And he thought of the one from his present, the chaotic, deceptive Living Paradox.

A being of many secrets. It would be no issue to meet with him again.
