Lord Shadow

He flies to the sky and in just a few moments he reaches a tall valley on an island, and he lands there.

One sweep of his Divine Sense and he found out that this island is uninhabited. It is full of monsters and flora and fauna of magical kinds but there are no humans here.

“A good place to survey this ocean and determine where I am right now” he mutters to himself

He closes his eyes and his Divine Sense sweeps through. He saw the sea, the monsters that lurked beneath this sea, and there were a lot of them

Some parts of the sea are full of dense magical energy that made his Divine Sense distorted and made his vision slightly blurry. He saw islands. Not a few dozen islands but hundreds all over this area.

He sees ships, pirates and some ships that look like ships that come from some government.

He sees some islands are filled with people and some are filled with weird creatures, but they have civilizations.

And then his Divine Sense finally sees something he recognizes.

“I never thought…” he mutters and he sighed

He knows where he is now

And then he opens his eyes. He shakes his head and there is a bitter smile on his face

“Who would have thought I would have so many destinies with this place. I was here before and I was here again” he paused for a moment when he remembers what he left here before and he could not help but sighed

He looks at the sky, and his eyes seem like he pierces through the heaven will and see through even the dark skies in space.

His eyes seem to see through the nine heavens and pierce through all the darkness in the Universe

“How could I not believe in destiny?” he sighed.

There is a feeling of helplessness.

But his eyes did not lose any hope.

Instead, he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath.

He is also not the young Azief. He had seen many things and now he knows how to remain calm even under such pressure.

Fate and destiny are not static.

It is hard to disobey, but it is not impossible.

No, Azief thought

His fate is in the category of hard fate. The kind of fate that is almost impossible to overturn.

But he also remembers what the Etherna had done.

And he also knows his own situation.

There is a chance.

He wanted to do the impossible.

And he had no other choice to try to do the impossible.

Sometimes, you have to fight fate and destiny with all of your might and sometimes, you have to let it guide you.

A hand tries to capture him in the time and space continuum and now here is here in a place that has cause and effect with him

This is destiny that he should follow and respect.

Because the cause and effect are planted by himself.

Is it time to sever this cause and effect or is it time to strengthen this cause and effect? Azief would not know until he walks this path that destiny seemed to lay it out for him.

“There is destiny in the dark” he could not help but mutter these words

He had just found out that the place he is in right now is none other than Arturia.

And he did leave something here.

A sword.

The sword made from the Will of the World and the energy of heaven and earth

A part of him is here. So, how could there is no cause and effect? It is the strongest cause and effect

And he also breathes a relieved sigh.

It is a friendly place.

“This place is an ally of Pandemonium. It is a good place for me to lay low and gain information”

Azief did not know how much time had passed in the real world since he goes to Interium

Travelling through time and space continuum always resulted in differences in time. But that is not something that he worries about…. Initially

But things have changed from what he had planned…. initially

Before, he had the guidance of Speed Source, and even if there are slight discrepancies of time, he should not have stray too far from the designated time

At most, a few days. After all, before he went away, he said to Katarina, it would not be long.

At most a few days when he is not on Earth.

After all, time and space travel is like that. He could even spend a few years in a different dimension and only a few hours had just passed on Earth

Of course, the prerequisite of this time altering method is that the time and space coordinate that they designated is perfect

And it was perfect.

When he was in Interium, it was as perfect as it could be. Discrepancies of a few days and he would be back on Earth like he had never left it.

He could handle some of the problems that he had left before. Some of the plans he had made before he goes to save Will could also be implemented.

He had it all figured out

But…. that hand….that hand made everything out of whack.

Now, he could not be sure.

Whether the time difference lengthened or distorted.

But after using his Divine Sense he could sense that at least, he was not thrown a thousand years forward or in different time and space.

“It would not be a joke if I am in a parallel reality”

He could still sense his sword….and his energy inside it. There is connection with the sword. It tethered him

That is also something important when travelling through time and space using magic.

Azief did not know how one would traverse through time and space using science and devices like some of the high technological civilization does, but in a magical world like his, there needs to be something that could tether you and connect you if you want to return to your own time, and your own world.

Azief chooses the cause and effect that is present in Pandemonium.

That place has the most cause and effect for him. There is the wishes of the people, there is his traces there, there is his family and friends there

The anchor point of his current life is all in Pandemonium and related to the people in Pandemonium

Hence, that was his anchor point

But…. after the havoc inside the time and space tunnel, he was thrown here. Close to the island of Arturia

After all, of that anchor point being set….yet, he is here in this island. There is an unresolved cause and effect here.

And he could still sense some energy he is familiar with. Calling him.

Azief sighed

He looked in the distance, and his eyes could see the hundreds of islands in the distance. His eyes could see through all the normal fogs and ignores the distance and sees all of these things that would be hard for anyone below his realm to see

He could see the swirling of chaotic energy all over the sea.

Any other person would not be able to easily absorb the chaotic energy that is present in the sea.

The reason why Azief had always been able to change any energy into his own is because he has the All-Source disk.

Without this disk converting every energy to what he needs, even he would need time to absorb the energy in the world. Most people in the world only absorb around sixty-to-sixty five percent of the energy they absorb.

They could not absorb one hundred percent of energy.

What happens to the other forty percent of energy that they could not absorb?

It would get expelled from the body. It becomes purer and it helps the world to circulate this new purer energy

As more and more people absorb energy and expel this leftover energy, the energy in the world would become purer.

In a way, humans acted like a tree.

Taking carbon dioxide and exhaling oxygen.

Only the thing that humans absorb are chaotic energy and release a slightly pure energy.

As more and more energy is exhaled and released, the environment for the energy will become more hospitable

An existence like Azief who absorbs all of the energy he could take is like the behavior of a bandit.

He takes all that is good and releases nothing.

He takes too many and did not even give a little

In the past, Azief did not think much of it.

He did not think there was any consequence to this.

It is only after he reached this point, after he had learned all the laws that he knew that there is a price to pay for this

He had cause and effect with Earth.

The cause and effect of this could not easily be resolved. He had taken all the fortune and luck the world could give and take it and never gives anything back.

So, to resolve this cause and effect he had to give things back to the world.

How to resolve this cause and effect depends on how Azief views himself and how he views this world
