All across Sprigfield village, all the cultists suddenly got the same message ordering them to gather at the Demon King Temple! In a matter of minutes, it looked like the Apocalypse!

This was the sound of hundreds of players and NPC gathering!
So many that the Entire Sprigfield Village shook! It felt like an earthquake was happening and congregating in one place, and one place only: the temple!
Many bystanders gasped in shock…
“They’re finally going insane!”
“Impossible! Those guys were never sane!”
“Brother, I’m scared. What will they do this time?!”
They all stared at the ginormous temple that looked more like a palace than a place of worship! Then again, there were countless Demon King and unholy beast statues!
On top of a balcony, a domineering Head-Cultist appeared sea of humans…
“My brothers and sisters, today our lord and savior needs us! But most importantly, our holy beast needs us! Are you ready to prove your dedication?”

The entire area shook with the clamor. Whatever the demon King required, they would do! After all, to them, he wasn’t just a random Brave…
“Of course! He saved our town. It’s our turn to help!”
“He’s given us a family! It’s the least we can do!”
“I’ve never felt so alive before. Bring it!”
“High priest, just tell us! Anything!”
The man on the balcony couldn’t help but grin. They were just like him. Unbeknown to Jack, he had inspired so many… just by being himself.
The crazy Demon King that did what he wanted!

Seeing their fervor, the man smiled so radiantly that it starkly contrasted with his next words!

And they sure fucking did. They smiled, they cheered, they grabbed their weapons, and then they plunged them all deep into their own stomachs, gouging themselves up!
Blood exploded all over the damn place, bystanders looking at it in utter shock, already vomiting their breakfast. Seriously, what the fuck was this?!
It got worse with the Brave’s cries…
“Death, here I come!”
“We’ll find Moon Moon for sure!”
“The best boy deserves the ultimate sacrifice!”
To them, it wasn’t just pure madness. Many had participated in that one BBQ the Demon King had organized. This wasn’t just any wolf, but their goddamn drinking buddy!
So what if he had four legs and they had two? Who gave a fuck!
So what if this was just a game? They could afford to die!
So what if many found them crazy for it?
In bluish flashes of light, the cultists died one after the other. And every time they did, they would do so with a crazed yet happy look, leaving jealous NPCs.
If they had been like the Braves, they, too, would have killed themselves as fast as possible! Hell, some Braves screwed up their suicide, only for NPCs to help them!
Regrets? None! This was all for Moon Moon!
And as this kept happening, a certain Death Goddess and a wolf were training in the Infinite Void. But no matter what, she couldn’t help but frown over and over.
At this rate, the dedicated Wolf would never succeed. Whenever she exerted a dragon-like presence, the poor wolf crumbled like a cookie left too long in breast milk.
It wasn’t even a matter of will but species!

Being valiant wasn’t enough sometimes. To her he was lacking, to Braves he would have simply been too low-level. But before she could reiterate, it happened!
A lone wisp-looking soul suddenly appeared. Wait, was that a player?! The guy looked see-through and was about to respawn any second now.
In fact, its very presence here was strange…
“Moon Moon. Gotta find Moon Moon!”
Was the soul here because of this? It had been so focused on finding Moon Moon that the automatic Brave Respawn mechanic had been temporarily delayed?!
But then THEY came.
Countless ethereal souls passing through.
So many of them that they formed an exodus!
“Moon Moon, gotta find Moon Moon!”
“Find our unholy beast, and bring it back!”
“Moon Moon, where are you?! I mean Woo!!”
One after the other, countless D.L. cultists showed up one after the other. They were like mirages, getting respawned almost as soon as they appeared, and yet thinks was enough.
As a little wolf gazed at them all, it felt its tiny heart beat a thousand times faster than it usually. They were all here for him? Its shaky legs suddenly found strength.
And as it turned back to the Goddess of Death, it seemed way bigger than its tiny frame. It had always intended to fight, but now it wasn’t alone anymore.
And from them, it drew incredible strength!
“Woo!” (Bring it on!)
As a certain goddess of death imitated a dragon’s aura and glared at the tiny wolf, it didn’t move an inch. And as it sensed all its friends around… it took a step?!

“Woo!” Moon Moon didn’t care about the messages. He didn’t care about power either. But as it resisted the pressure, it felt happy. Finally, it had finally succeeded.
And this meant one thing. As the training ended, a little wolf reappeared next to its beloved master, one that seemed deader than alive and had been waiting for it.

A happy wolf and a relieved human shared a happy moment in the warm silence. Sadly, that moment of happiness would soon be shattered by an overgrown shitty lizard.

“Woo!” There was no fear in that woo, only a sharp and merciless light.
Interrupting its reunion with its master? Scoff, this lizard sure was arrogant!
