Chapter 1549: Chapter 1548: ’Normalcy’

A few days after their arrival things seemed to have returned to what they had been prior to their arrival, yet at the same time… it was very clearly a different day that we were having every single time we woke up.

Having the Empress lounging at the counter whenever I went down to make breakfast was weird, seeing Lady Kio laying in the grass outside as she sunbathed just because was definitely weird, and having my parents all just a few doors away every single night felt odd after so long of ’solitude’.

I could tell that Jahi was having a bit of trouble acclimating to this too since her hands constantly strayed a bit too ’far’ some mornings, and there were fewer places for her to drag one of us aside and have some fun.

Although I had to admit that this was a ’good’ set of problems to have since it felt rather warm each morning being surrounded by more people that were meant to be close anyways, though the pantry getting emptier and emptier as I tried to keep all of these people well fed was definitely not the greatest feeling in the world…

Thankfully our guests weren’t just here to have a relaxing vacation and not contribute to the household, with the Empress, Sultana and Mom checking out the Dungeon a few times for a myriad of reasons, though every single time they went I made sure to remind them that there was no need to come back emptyhanded.

With the storage bracelets handed over to just ensure that they made the most of those trips my worries about the food supply was mitigated somewhat, though all it seemed to do was negate what they were eating since they only came back wanting whichever monster they hunted to be cooked into something delicious.

For those first few days I just spent my time at home enjoying the random bouts of aggression that Mother and Lady Kio had for one another or listening to the Vampire and Elf debate magical theory anywhere in the house.

Things were just smooth and relaxing, so I was able to just chill in the house and bask in the random events that occurred every single hour of the day, though by end of the third day I had to admit I was getting a little bored.

I had little urge to hunt, didn’t want to study or read anymore, had no desire to continue napping, and there was only so much I could take of Alessandra and Lakshmi fighting atop my body before things got a little stale.

I did adore the two babies though, and it was certainly beneficial practice for what was going to come in the not so distant future, but I needed something else to keep my mind occupied lest I go insane, and the obvious choice… well, it was to go and open up the Lounge.

With so many new guests coming in every single day to try and curry some favor with the Empress, Sultana or Mom, there were certainly a few individuals that could use a place to unwind and savor a drink in peace, so I had Cali do something for me.

I gave her a few of the tokens and asked her to find those that would be acceptable guests at the Lounge to hand them to, and after rolling my eyes and letting her know that so long as she maintained her disguise she was happy to frolic amongst the newcomers searching for those that fit the bill.

The idea of trusting an Arch Fiend of Sla with getting the right kind of people definitely felt weird at first, but after a few moments of thinking it over the pink skinned beauty had to take this seriously since this was how she could grow this network.

Surely the ancient being would understand the idea of establishing long term guarantees over short term profits..?

On that fourth night I got to see that she did actually understand that, and after making it abundantly clear that she would face the full brunt of the Empress’, Sultana’s and Mom’s power if she tried something like before I felt comfortable with getting the night underway.

Once more I was cloistered away in my office watching things from the hidden room, and although she threw up some mirrors to show me the nitty gritty details regarding some of our guests I was quite content with everything.

Liquor was flowing smoothly, most eyes were on the dancing Yue while everyone enjoyed the incredible voice of Jasper as he sang from his little dais with his lute in his hands; Esme was serving drinks left and right whilst whipping up plate after plate of various meals for the guests, and the ’dynamic duo’ of Cori and Connie were working their magic once more.

By that I meant Cori was choking on someone in the corner booth while Connie had somehow lost her top, so the older Dogkin was just ferrying drinks around whilst her tits bounced with every step, drawing more than a fair share of the eyes in the Lounge.

There was even a new employee who was a nice in between of Cori and Connie, with this one being a petite blonde Human futanari who was just the right amount of slutty and hard working; she wasn’t so quick to lose herself to pleasure like Cori, but she wasn’t as in control as Connie was.

Right now she was sitting on some Noblewoman’s lap feeding her bite after bite of a juicy steak, servicing the rich woman nicely and not minding at all how she was groped as the woman played with her body.

Somehow this place just felt… right for me, and watching it all from the office was so much fun as I just kept track of things, though the moment Jahi strolled on in I felt my mood wilt a little as guilt and some other emotions began to bubble in my chest.

I was here getting horny seeing all of this, yet the moment I thought of Jahi getting aroused by the sexy Elf dancing on stage I got a little… angry, though seeing my wife walk straight towards the office was a bit of a relief.
