“I think I already had my fun with you. It is time to end this because I have more important things to do. You have already made it boring for me when you blatantly ignored their wrongdoings. You should have just owned up to it like me and make the world a living hell for your own entertainment.” Eldritch stated as he suddenly activated a domain that created floor made of malevolent thorns.
Tai slammed his oni club against the floor to jump high and avoid any damage from it, but the domain did not just encompass the ground. Eldritch suddenly appeared behind Tai and pierced the latter’s chest. Tai could not even feel or see the attack as if Eldritch teleported to his location instantly.
Tai then saw that the air behind him looked like it morphed or is part of the malevolent forest. He did not expect that the ground is the only thing covered by Eldritch but everything around them. It was only when he was pierced by Eldritch’ arm that he has clearer sense on where the attack came from.
“Impossible! This is a level that only a god could use.” Tai stated as the only ones he could not go against by himself are godlike beings.
“All of you are all so slow which is why I found a way to already gain the power of a lesser god. It might not be permanent but using it like this from time to time is such a good feeling. Especially when I can deal with those that have humiliated me.” Eldritch stated as his hand suddenly bloomed into numerous tentacles that destroyed the entirety of Tai’s body.

“Tch! That felt unsatisfying to do. I thought he was like that demon kid, but it seems that he was just a poser. A poser that was used by beings that are digital lifeforms no less. Pathetic.” Eldritch stated as he looked towards the fight between the High Star Spawn and the Black Tortoise of the North.
Eldritch is amazed because the Black Tortoise of the North can actually hold its ground despite fighting the High Star Spawn in its final evolution. It is a given that the High Star Spawn in its fully evolved form is rapidly decaying but it is also increasing in power in exchange. The Black Tortoise of the North should have been overpowered by now since only a quarter of the High Star Spawn’s life is available.
“Just as they say, the Black Tortoise of the North is the most formidable of the Four Cardinal Divin Beasts. It has the perfect defense and offense combined into one but that is not enough to defeat the High Star Spawn in its fully evolved form. Even if the High Star Spawn does die, we will be the one victorious in the end.” Eldritch stated.
“Finish it quickly, Eldritch. You must obtain that item and it can only be taken once the Black Tortoise of the North dies.” A dark and ominous voice could be heard whispering to Eldritch’ ears. This voice came in the form of a thin black mist.
“This battle is practically over.” Eldritch stated as he believed that he only needs to collect.
“Your overconfidence amazes me but that will lead to your downfall.” The dark and ominous voice stated.
“Keep quiet or else the deal is off, Loki.” Eldritch stated as the owner of that voice is actually the God of Mischief Loki.
“Champions these days are no fun.” The dark and ominous voice of the God Loki stated as the thin dark mist vanished.
“ARRGGHH!” The Black Tortoise of the North shouted as the High Star Spawn suddenly gripped its two heads.
The turtle head of the Black Tortoise of the North is arm locked by the High Star Spawn using four hands. The snake head of the Black Tortoise of the North is being gripped by two hands that protruded from the back of the High Star Spawn. The strength of the High Star Spawn has peaked and could now easily handle the Black Tortoise of the North. This became a problem for the Black Tortoise of the North as its frost attacks could no longer damage the enemy before it.
“KWAAAHHHH!” The High Star Spawn shouted as it used Dimensional Screech once again to destroy the defenses of the Black Tortoise of the North.
The pain could be heard in the screams of the Black Tortoise of the North as its entire body was being destroyed from within. All of the ice shell flakes around its body started to shatter and even its shell started to crack. The High Star Spawn has gained the upper hand as only 10% of its entire health is left.
The Black Tortoise of the North started to flail its body as it could feel its two heads being dislocated. The High Star Spawn did not stop as it targeted the head that is the softest and that is the snake head. Using all of its force that it could muster using its gigantic hands, the High Star Spawn destroyed the snake head of the Black Tortoise of the North. The Black Tortoise of the North’s turtle head cried in pain as its twin was killed.
The Black Tortoise of the North is actually considered one being but are two beings in one. The turtle and the snake are two beings in the same body with different thoughts and emotions. They are also linked emotionally, physically and spiritually. If one of the heads are destroyed, then part of the Black Tortoise of the North will also die in the process. It also means that the other part Black Tortoise of the North will soon die as both parts are interdependent with each other.
“With my brother dead, I shall sacrifice myself to bring you to the afterlife myself. Subzero Atomica! Die with me, alien scum that plagues this world!” The Black Tortoise of the North shouted as it used all of its remaining divine energy to make its body explode to create an entire wasteland of ice and snow.
“KWAAHH!” The High Star Spawn felt the danger and tried to escape as if it has already taken interest in living, but the Black Tortoise of the North slammed its heavy body against it.
The High Star Spawn basically clawed its way out to get away from the ticking time bomb that is the Black Tortoise of the North. It must have gained true sentience on the last remaining bits of its life. The Black Tortoise of the North did not care what injuries it has sustained because it will die anyway.
The Black Tortoise of the North will at least kill the being that killed its other half but there is also another just waiting for its death. The Black Tortoise of the North looked at Eldritch’ location and aimed its breath attack towards that area but Eldritch only smiled. A twisted smile could be seen from Eldritch as he controlled the pet that he brought.
Eldritch took out a creepy looking statue that resembled the High Star Spawn. The High Star Spawn suddenly felt the connection with this item and panicked. The High Star Spawn immediately started to claw against the Black Tortoise of the North harder and harder as it sensed its impending death. Eldritch laughed at this interaction as he found the emotions and intelligence that its pet gained as amusing.
“At least, you have given me some entertainment.” Eldritch stated as he destroyed the small statue.
“KAGH!” The High Star Spawn emitted its last cry as its own life force was snuffed out by its master.

The death of the High Star Spawn also triggered a special skill that is present for all beings created from Distorted Gods under the rule of the god that Eldritch follows. The sudden death of the High Star Spawn created an explosion of Malevolent Thorns that is equal to its strength. All parts of its body would become Malevolent Thorns that destroy and kill everything around it. This is what happened to the High Star Spawn, and it also became the gory death of the Black Tortoise of the North.

The Black Tortoise of the North was pierced all over by the malevolent thorns that was created from the corpse of the High Star Spawn exploding. Eldritch then proceeded to fly towards the body of the Black Tortoise of the North to collect what he needs but fate had other plans. The Black Tortoise of the North’s grudge actually held on as its entire body glowed with the last bit of divine energy it could and continue the Subzero Atomica with Eldritch caught in it.
