Chapter 2668: Against the Corrupted Yellow Emperor III

Adrian touched the barrier surrounding the golden throne with his hyper corrosive body but the dark gold barrier surrounding it was not melting. It was made with mana directly sourced from the ley lines which means this is not like the one surrounding the body of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor. This one would need more energy to dissolve or a powerful attack that could destroy an area.

“Wisteria, blow it up.” Adrian commanded as a loud whistling roar echoed in the sky.

Wisteria suddenly manifested in her largest form above the sky as she floated inside the nether mist. She was there the entire time and was told to gather energy for an attack should she be needed. This is the perfect time as the golden throne’s barrier needed to destroyed in order to weaken the Corrupted Yellow Emperor.

Wisteria’s loud roar could be heard by everyone in the area and all of them subconsciously looked up to see a gigantic flying dragon turtle with an ominous tree on her back. Wisteria did as she was instructed and focused all of her efforts into the attack as her mouth opened up to release her breath attack. Since she is in her nether mode, Wisteria’s breath attack transforms into a pure blast of nether energy that can disintegrate any type of energy.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor also saw Wisteria and wanted to stop her from what she will do. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor felt danger as soon as it saw Wisteria charging up an attack. The danger of nether energy made the Corrupted Yellow Emperor panic as it knew where it was targeted. The golden throne which is the source of its endless energy is now being targeted by the demon.

The only problem for the Corrupted Yellow Emperor is that Ain and the demon’s soulbounds were all attacking it. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor could not move around as much as it wanted because of the fact that it is being hindered by numerous beings. All of them are also enhanced by the nether energy around them which mean any attack that reaches the Corrupted Yellow Emperor will deal a great amount of damage.

“Emperor’s Prowess!” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor shouted as it used one of the most powerful skills in its arsenal when it is in humanoid form.

A powerful pressure suddenly came down upon all of them which made Ain and the soulbounds rooted to the ground. The pressure came from the Corrupted Yellow Emperor but it also drained the divine energy of the user by a large degree. Still, the Corrupted Yellow Emperor is satisfied with the effect because Wisteria could be seen struggling to stay afloat as the area of effect is such a large distance that it even covered the sky.

“Did you think that I would let some measly beast destroy my core power?!” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor stated but it once again forgot another being to look out for.

A mass of energy suddenly sprung up from the ground and then coiled around the Corrupted Yellow Emperor. This mass of energy is none other than Adrian in his slime form. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor’s barrier tried to resist the hyper corrosive touch of the transformed Adrian but it slowly melted away. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor is quite shocked that the being before it is not affected by its ability.

The skill that the Corrupted Yellow Emperor should render all beings that are not equal to it as useless. It is basically a special skill that asserts dominance on those that are lower beings compared to the user. This is why the Corrupted Yellow Emperor is also confident that all beings are below it because no mortal has ever resisted its power before.

“Oh! It is more effective against you.” Adrian’s voice echoed mixed with a raspy echo which the Corrupted Yellow Emperor noticed.

“Demon!” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor stated as it did not recognize Adrian at first because of the different form but it does know that summoners can take on the form of their soulbounds.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor also know that only high-level summoners can use this skill that can amplify the strength of the summoner and the beast. The proof is the fact that Adrian remains unaffected by the skill of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor and that the dark gold barrier that the enemy is proud of is being melted. The slime beast that the Corrupted Yellow Emperor could see is also made of the same energy that it hates.

Adrian’s touch suddenly melted a hole in the barrier which made him glow in an eerie light to signal that he is smiling. Even though the hole that he created was small, Adrian’s current body has the ability to resize and fit into anything as long as there is a crevice. All of a sudden, Adrian’s body turned into a very liquid state and entered through the hole of the barrier to surround the body of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor could not even stop Adrian from what he is doing because its Emperor’s Prowess skill requires it to not use any other move and focus. It is also the reason why Adrian does not often use his own aura because immense concentration is also needed to apply pressure in such a grand scale. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor is now given a choice to either stop the skill it is using to pressure the entire area or stop Adrian from breaching its last outer shell.

“Not cancelling the skill? You are much stubborn than I thought you were.” Adrian’s voice echoed inside the sphere that surrounded the Corrupted Yellow Emperor.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor could not be seen anymore because Adrian surrounded it completely with his transformed body. All the other beings could see is that the Corrupted Yellow Emperor is inside a sphere of nether mist but that is just Adrian’s body wiggling inside the outer barrier of the enemy. Adrian’s slime body is now directly touching the outer shell of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor and it could be seen to having the same symptoms as the outer barrier earlier.

“How are you unaffected?! You are just a lowly demon!” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor stated as it could see that its outer shell slowly melting away and parts of Adrian’s corrosive body starting to touch its clothes.

“I am not just a demon. I am also part Asmodian.” Adrian stated as his chuckle made his body create glowing lights.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor heard a term that it is most familiar with and all of its perception of the demon suddenly changed. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor suddenly shifted to a fight or flight mode as it stopped its Emperor’s Prowess skill. Wisteria managed to balance herself once again and then fire off her breath attack since she did not stop accumulating power despite being almost sent crashing down to the ground.

Wisteria’s beam attack perfectly destroyed the barrier surrounding the golden throne which Ain and the soulbounds immediately attacked as they were released as well. The golden throne that is the core of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor’s endless energy supply is suddenly destroyed. This made the Corrupted Yellow Emperor’s energy unstable as all of the remaining sand soldiers it controlled has turned to dust.

Ain and the other might think that they have won but Adrian has another opinion entirely. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor suddenly ceased all control of other beings in order to direct all of the energy it could muster into its body. The outer shell that Adrian already melted through earlier suddenly regenerated and became extremely sturdy. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor also released a vast amount of divine energy and internal energy that even Adrian finds difficult to resist.

Without even a warning, the Corrupted Yellow Emperor’s body glowed in a dark gold light before creating a powerful explosion with it as the core of the explosion. Adrian wanted to escape but the humanoid body of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor grasped onto his slime body that should be difficult to catch. Adrian is being gripped by the Corrupted Yellow Emperor with all its might as it is even using a mixture of divine and internal energy to make sure that he does not squirm away.

“You are a being that will be the death of me if you are not killed now. Know that you have pushed me to this degree so that you may smile upon your death.” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor stated as its entire body started to crack.

“This insane dragon god!” Adrian shouted as he knew what the Corrupted Yellow Emperor is planning to do.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor is planning to make his internal energy explode. This meant that all of the beings around them in a large area will be caught up in the explosion. For a being as powerful as the Corrupted Yellow Emperor, the explosion of internal energy would definitely reach at least a hundred miles.
