Chapter 2669: Against the Corrupted Yellow Emperor IV

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor is driven into a corner as its golden throne has been destroyed. Its control over the ley lines is starting to falter because there is no longer a core to consolidate the vast amount of energy from the dragon veins. It also learned that the demon before it has Asmodian blood running in its veins which means that it cannot overpower Adrian with whatever pressure it exudes.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor also believes that the demon with Asmodian blood before him could be able to kill it. An instinct to survive actually triggered for the Corrupted Yellow Emperor as soon as Adrian’s corrosive body made contact with the body of the former. One touch was enough for the Corrupted Yellow Emperor to decide to make this current body explode.

“You shall die here and I will just need to create another vessel.” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor stated as the physical vessel that it has right now is just a manifestation it created.

The divine soul of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor is still in a special undying state. The divine soul of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor will not be destroyed nor erased without any special circumstances. The humanoid body it created right now is merely a way to contain its divine soul so that it will not leak energy around. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor decided to discard it and use its true divine body after dealing with those that dared to attack it.

“You might have been able to push me to this but all of you will perish under this body’s destruction. This body has enough internal energy to destroy this entire area and take even the sky with it.” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor stated as its created humanoid body has internal energy equivalent to a Second Stage Divine Immortal.

“If you are not going to let me, go then the only choice is to suppress the explosion to the point that my allies will not be affected.” Adrian stated as he already accepted his death since this is not something new to him.

Adrian then called upon all of his soulbounds by his side and they gathered in an instant. Some of his soulbounds tried to destroy the barrier around the Corrupted Yellow Emperor that is gripping their master but they failed to do so. Seeing that they cannot save their master, the soulbounds obeyed what their master has told them via their Soul Link.

All of the soulbounds then absorbed the nether mist in the area until their very forms are filled with nether energy. The soulbounds would then voluntary seal themselves which would transfer all of the energy they absorbed back to their master. Adrian did not want to make all of his soulbounds sacrifice themselves which is why he found this method. For this method, only Adrian will die but he will also deal great damage to the enemy.

“Whatever you are doing, it is fruitless! You will never have enough energy to break free from me!” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor stated.

“Who said that I am trying to break free from you?” Adrian stated as his body coiled around the humanoid body of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor even more.

Adrian’s form that is a bit loose suddenly became more solid as all of his soulbounds got sealed back to their Soul Chambers. The only one that is not sealed is Dodu as it and Adrian are fused at the moment. Adrian and Dodu themselves could feel the strain as it seems that their fused bodies were not meant to hold this much energy but it had to be done.

“You! Have you gone mad! Has desperation driven you to madness?!” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor shouted as it finally learned what Adrian is trying to do.

“I will at least take you down with me as you have said. It will not be interesting if I am the only one dying. Nether Explosion!” Adrian stated as his entire body glowed brightly in all colors of the nether mist.

“I shall kill you first!” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor shouted as its body cracked and released a powerful explosion of internal energy.

Adrian’s transformed body exploded and so did the body of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor. The explosion of two different energies was quite a spectacle. Internal energy could be described as a type of life energy if the internal energy used is directly sourced from the body. Since the Corrupted Yellow Emperor used the internal energy of its created body, the explosion of energy is literally an internal energy bomb.

Adrian’s explosion of nether energy is the complete opposite as it is the deepest and harshest of all death energy. Instead of a powerful explosion that devastated the entire area for about a hundred miles, the two opposing energy types devoured one another. Nether energy would eat up the internal energy that exploded outwards. This made a sphere of opposing energy types that devoured one another while also creating loud explosion noise.

The clash of the two energies would even make shockwaves that would knock anyone back if they were near it. The sight of the two opposing energies devouring each other is also spectacular. Nether energy is like an invading life form that will devour the life energy that is trying to explode. Neither of the two are living beings yet they look like two energy-based life forms trying to kill one another. It was something that cannot be seen normally because even Adrian himself did not think that this would happen.

The clash of the two opposing energies calm to a halt after a few minutes. In terms of power, both of them were equal and none had the upper hand. The two opposing energies fizzled out after battling each other for supremacy as all they could do is cancel each other out. Even those that thought that they will be swept away by the large mass of energy being released have breathed a sigh of relief as they were not engulfed in it.

“Are we safe?” Siegfried asked as his body has already been healed perfectly by Anastacia.

“You know that you should never say that sentence old man.” Anastacia stated as a gigantic dark golden serpentine dragon suddenly rose to the skies.

The Corrupted Yellow Emperor has returned back to its true form even though this form uses a lot of energy to maintain. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor would have had its divine soul damaged if it did not plan ahead and encased it in a special seal that will not be affected by the explosion of two energies. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor laughed seeing that the demon that tried to taunt it and even scare it to death is now reduced to nothing.

“In the end, it is I that is victorious.” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor shouted in triumph as it believed that it will now be successful since the major problem it encountered is now gone without a trace.

“You fools might have been able to destroy the golden throne but I can just rebuild it!” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor announced as it gathered its own divine energy to piece back the pieces of the broken golden throne.

Siegfried and Anastacia could only watch because they cannot reach the height that the Corrupted Yellow Emperor is hovering on. The golden throne pierces are slowly being pieced together as the Corrupted Yellow Emperor is trying to restore the connection with the ley lines. One would think that the Corrupted Yellow Emperor would be unimpeded as Adrian is nowhere to be seen but the golden throne pieces suddenly started to grow withered vines.

“What is happening?!” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor exclaimed in shock as the golden throne which is the anchor for its connection to the ley lines suddenly stopped listening to it.

Withered vines and luscious flowers suddenly started to sprout from the broken pieces of the golden throne as if to ascertain that the hold of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor on it has long gone. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor finally realized what happened as the foreign entity that was trying to stop it earlier has actually bypassed its control. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor could feel more of its power slipping away as the connection to the ley lines are now sealed.

“Impossible!” The Corrupted Yellow Emperor shouted as it released a powerful burst of energy in anger.

Anastacia had to create a Holy Sanctuary to make them immune to damage as the burst of energy from the Corrupted Yellow Emperor made the ground cave inwards. The Corrupted Yellow Emperor is now throwing a tantrum as its ace in order to survive is now sealed. It cannot feel the energy of the ley lines anymore as even its anchor has been sealed completely. The one who sealed or prevented the Corrupted Yellow Emperor is a being that is quite new to using ley lines and is actually a vast distance away from the enemy.

“I did it!” Levin Cloud thought as his body is now perfectly fused with the ley lines of the eastern continent.
