Chapter 2670: Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong I

The ley lines are no longer giving energy to the Corrupted Yellow Emperor or the name to call it in its full form is the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong’s true form is a large serpentine golden dragon but its original appearance is now different due to the fact that it has been corrupted. The original golden scales are now covered in a dark gold sheen that releases an oppressive aura instead of a serene one.

The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong used to be the protector of the eastern continent. The eternal leader of the continent when it became known for what it is. It should have been the most powerful and the only one to resist corruption but it fell in the end. The trust that it has given to others was abused and the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong is no longer a singular entity.

The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong that is now present in the skies is the combination of a Distorted God and the Huanglong. It will never return back to the original Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong because they have perfectly fused together. The Distorted God of Unification with the power to merge with anything is what fused with the Huanglong.

“You dare usurp my throne and control to the ley lines, foreigner!” The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong shouted as its power exploded.

The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong also released some of his own divine aura into the ley lines to see where this foreign usurper was. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong might no longer be able to control and get energy from the ley lines but that does not mean that its initial access has been taken away. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong did not mind the foreign entity earlier as the best it could do was baby attempts in blocking it from accessing the ley lines but everything has changed.

The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong’s divine aura penetrated the ley lines and traced back the location of the one that restricted its access. What the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong found is a mindscape that is a large being made of wood that is both desiccating and vibrant. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong’s aura took the form of a large dragon and attempted to take on this foreign usurper.

The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong planned to devour the being that is restricting its control which would transfer back all rights that were stolen from it. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong did not care for the beings that are left in the real world because it has already killed the demon it is wary of. Even now, the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong could feel some attacks reaching its body but all of it is just being deflected by the barrier around its body.

“You do not even dare to greet your elder!” The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong stated as it created a blast of energy to send a greeting to Levin Cloud.

“I am focusing here! I do not need any distractions.” Levin Cloud stated as anything that hinders him is already making him lose control.

The sudden provocation of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong suddenly made Levin Cloud get pulled directly into this mindscape. He was peacefully regulating his control over the ley lines while still having a way to see what is happening around him but the sudden attack on him suddenly shifted his mental state. Even Levin Cloud was shocked to find himself in a mindscape that he is taking on his true form.

The appearance of the mindscape is just a vast dark space that has numerous pillars of light in it. This is the representation of the ley lines from the view of those that enter it. Levin Cloud would not have been able to enter this place if the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong did not provoke the body of the former that is anchored to this mindscape. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong would have actually been able to evict Levin Cloud if it had prepared an even bigger and more powerful attack but it could not.

“Where am I?” Levin Cloud muttered as he could now see the entirety of the mindscape plus the being that is attacking him.

Levin Cloud immediately recognized the being that is attacking him because it looks similar to the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong. He knows of the real form of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong because of the records in the Dragon Lake Palace. The only difference to the actual one is that the one before him is made up of energy instead of a physical body. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong before him looked ghostly and hollow.

“I do not know where I exactly am right now but you are attacking me without any warning.” Levin Cloud stated as he extended his large wooden arm to strangle the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong.

Levin Cloud suddenly felt incredibly tired after one large movement that it made the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong laugh. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong immediately knew that the one before him is a newbie when it comes to the control of ley lines. The reason why its control over the ley lines was restricted is mere a fluke because of the mistake that the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong made.

“To think even a mere upstart has managed to lock me out! You do not even know what you must and must not do in this place.” The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong stated.

The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong is correct as Levin Cloud does not know the rules of this place or mindscape. Even the mere fact that moving could drain one’s energy to a great degree is not something that he knew. Still, Levin Cloud is not slow on the uptake as he immediately thought up everything that has happened based on his current dilemma.

“I suddenly found myself here when I felt something attack me. When I moved my body in this place, I drain a lot of mental stamina to the point that even my own physical stamina is drained. That thing also only used attacks that could be fired off from the body instead of using its own body.” Levin Cloud muttered to himself which the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong actually heard.

Seeing that its foreign usurper has somewhat learned of the rules, the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong no longer held back and used up more of its own energy. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong created small dragons that took the form of a dark golden light. It created thousands of them and sent them flying towards Levin Cloud.

Seeing the incoming attack, Levin Cloud tested his theory and did not move his body but willed his own energy. The energy inside of Levin Cloud’s body circulated and the power of the ley lines actually responded to him. Vines suddenly started to appear around Levin Cloud and blocked all of the flying light projectiles. The vines even moved by themselves to protect Levin Cloud from the blind spots.

“Impossible!” The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong stated as it actually felt that the authority of this foreign usurper is more powerful than its own.

The only reason why Levin Cloud appeared weaker earlier is due to the fact that he does not know what he could do or how to do it. If Levin Cloud found someone to teach him how to properly tap into the power of a ley line, then he would have easily sealed the access of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong or even remove the access entirely. Another shocking being has been encountered by the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong.

“First it was a demon and now this gigantic tree person!” The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong thought inwardly as it tried finding a way to make Levin Cloud vanish from this mindscape.

The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong tried every attack possible to send Levin Cloud away but nothing is working. In fact, the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong even noticed that each confrontation with Levin Cloud is making its enemy stronger and more efficient in control. It now looks like that the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong is teaching Levin Cloud how to wield the powers of the ley lines through actual combat practice.

“I need to pour in more of my divine essence! I must get my control in the ley lines back or else I cannot maintain my army!” The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong thought as it tried to pull more of its divine aura into the Dragon Vein Mindscape.

The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong tried to do so but it suddenly felt a piercing pain strike its body. The pain was sudden and instant that it actually almost made the mindscape body of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong disappear from the Dragon Vein Mindscape. The pain that it felt is not normal because it is familiar with it. This is the pain it felt when that demon’s energy suddenly touched a part of its body earlier.
