Chapter 2691: Monkey King VS Huanglong I

The sky above is not calm because of the fight between the Monkey King Adrian and the Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong. They were basically fighting higher in the clouds but the fierceness of their fight could still be seen from below. The Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong could immediately tell that it was becoming difficult to fight against the Monkey King Adrian.

The longer that their battle takes then the smarter and more ingenious the Monkey King Adrian uses his skills. They were basically fighting in the stratosphere and the same fundamental principles of elemental magic does not work effectively in this area. They even got some flying rocks clashing between them but the Monkey King Adrian even utilized them. The Monkey King Adrian’s eyes then glowed in a golden light as all of the monkey statues suddenly had their eyes glow as well. All of the monkey statues scattered about suddenly started to move and cast their gazes upon the Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong. Each of the monkey statues are an extension of the monkey and share 30% of his original power.

“Do you think that I will let you!” The Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong shouted as it also planned to be serious and not care about the divine energy it is spending or else it predicts itself losing against the monkey king before it.

The Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong suddenly had its scales almost turn pitch black with a golden sheen. The usual appearance of the regal Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong that looked like it is carved using gold vanished as it now has the resemblance to a cursed dragon. The Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong thought that it had also damaged the Monkey King Adrian from its powerful energy blast but it suddenly found itself in a terrifying situation.

“Where is that damned monkey!” The Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong shouted because it has lost sight and even sense of the Monkey King Adrian.

“Heavenly Cudgel, extend!” The Monkey King Adrian stated as the three-meter-long staff suddenly extended at an extremely quick speed while being enhanced by the divine energy present inside his body.

The Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong could not dodge as quickly as it could but it did manage to avoid having its head pierced by the heavenly cudgel. The head of the Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong was not pierced but its body was. Dark golden blood flowed out of the piercing wound of the Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong as its scales that were said to be able to block even mythical tier spells were destroyed easily by the heavenly cudgel.

The painful roar of the Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong echoed as it gathered energy into its throat and fired off a quick blast of its dragon breath. The dragon breath was quick like a laser and it reached the Monkey King Adrian’s head quickly and accurately. The head exploded and the Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong thought that it had won but it suddenly found itself staring at a monkey statue.

“Nice attempt.” A voice from behind stated as the Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong looked up to see the Monkey King Adrian before it.

The Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong tried to twist its head and fire off a quick dragon breath towards the Monkey King Adrian but it was too late. The Monkey King Adrian quickly enlarged his heavenly cudgel and slammed it towards the head of the Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong. The Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong could not even scream or utter anything as it almost choked on its own blood that rushed down its throat.

“Let us send you back to the ground shall we.” The Monkey King Adrian stated as he used the remaining moving monkey statues to push himself back to the ground along with the Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong.

The battle on the ground is almost done as the fallen eastern god army was already losing morale. They were already being killed easily as the best warriors of the eastern continent have gathered to defeat all of them. The Four Demonic Generals already got killed and the ones left are those that could not go against the most powerful divine and demonic beasts along with powerful Immortals with the support of other fallen eastern gods.

The enemy fallen eastern god army suddenly thought to themselves that they needed the Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong. They did not want to admit it but they needed the overwhelming power they had earlier when it was close to them. The connection was cut off because the Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong suddenly flew to the sky above the sky as they call it.

“WHAT’S THAT?!” Someone pointed out and everyone saw a large serpentine figure flying down from the sky.

“It’s the Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong!” One of the enemy fallen eastern gods shouted which restored some morale to them but it also dropped to rock bottom when they saw what is clearly happening.

“MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!” Someone shouted because they saw the Primordial Divine Beast Huanglong was not descending via flight but because a large golden cudgel is lodged onto its head as it is crashing down towards the ground.
