Chapter 2692: Monkey King VS Huanglong II

“YOU DARE MONKEY!” The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong tried speaking but it was all muffled due to the fact that gravity is pushing it down.

“You were saying something?” The Monkey King Adrian sarcastically asked as both of them crashed into the ground.

The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong crashing to the ground created a powerful tremor that leveled the area. All beings near the crash site were flung away due to the shockwave while those farther away were just pushed back a little. A large mushroom cloud of smoke and sand expanded in the area which also blinded them on what was currently happening to the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong and the Monkey King Adrian.

The smoke and sand finally cleared itself as a large gust of wind blew everything. The next thing that everyone saw is the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong having its entire head squashed on the bottom of the crater. The other thing they saw is the Monkey King Adrian high above the sky and enlarging his heavenly cudgel even further than before.

“HEAVENLY CRUSHER!” The Monkey King Adrian shouted but there was not really a skill like that. He only added it to make it look cool when he slammed the gigantic heavenly cudgel on the entire body of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong.

The large heavenly cudgel that grew to the size of a large tower emitted powerful divine energy because the Monkey King Adrian poured every last bit of divine energy that he has into it. One could even see that his transformation is slowly vanishing because he used everything that he can give. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong also noticed this and pushed its squashed body to create a powerful barrier that will defend it against the heavenly cudgel.

The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong also tried to squirm away but the Monkey King Adrian smiled. The Monkey King Adrian was not alone when he descended with the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong. The remaining five monkey statues that are still in good shape dropped to the location of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong and pinned it down. Even the remaining monkey statues exhausted all of their divine energy in order to make sure that the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong will never escape.

“NO!” The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong thought as a gigantic golden cudgel came crashing down onto it.

The large heavenly cudgel made everyone look in awe and respect as something like that can only be done by a god. The demonic and divine beasts all bowed down in respect as they witnessed the sheer power of the god that they worship. The Monkey King Adrian drove the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong down towards the ground.

Once the heavenly cudgel could only be seen for about ten meters into the ground, Adrian is now back to his normal form as there is no longer any divine energy to burn for the monkey king transformation. The heavenly cudgel also reverted back into a bronze metal rod as it also lost most of its divine energy as well. One would think that they have won but the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong is not yet dead.

“That thing really is very difficult to kill.” Adrian muttered as he saw a small snake like being fly up from the crater.

“Did you really think that you can kill me?! I cannot be killed in this continent for I am its lifeblood!” The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong or snake stated.

The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong or rather it can now be called the Primordial Divine Snake as it is now the size of a four-meter-long flying snake. Just as it has said, the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong cannot die in the eastern continent because it is deeply connected to it. It is not in a synergistic relationship with the eastern continent though as it will not die if the eastern continent perishes.

One could say that the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong is the designated guardian of the eastern continent. Each continent has a guardian that cannot die but they can be weakened and sealed. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong believed that it will just rise again and torment the eastern continent because the monkey king failed to seal it earlier. Even if the Four Cardinal Divine Beasts have been revived, the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong cannot be sealed without the power of the monkey king.

“This is why I told you that all of this is futile. You do not have the power of the monkey king anymore. You cannot seal me ever again!” The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong stated as it gathered mana from the area once again to reform its destroyed body.

Every being around them heard the declaration of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong and even they know that truth. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong is deeply ingrained in the core identity of the eastern continent hence the reason of the assimilation from the distorted god. If the distorted god did not assimilate but takeover then the role of guardian would have been discarded for the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong. Another divine beast would have taken its place but even the most powerful of them cannot completely get rid of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong.

“Confident, are we?” Adrian stated as the Four Cardinal Divine Beasts suddenly appeared before them and blasted the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong with their elemental powers.

The Four Cardinal Divine Beasts created a combined sphere of natural energy to trap the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong. They can at least seal it for one hundred years and think of a way to permanently seal it once more. This was the backup plan thought up by the Four Cardinal Divine Beasts but their strength is not enough to seal the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong.

“We shall help!” The fallen gods that sided with mortals stated as they all poured their divine energy into the elemental sphere to enhanced it even further.

The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong noticed that the elemental sphere surrounding him has indeed become stronger but that was just it. The elemental sphere before him will not be enough to contain him for even a hundred years. The most it could do is trap it for ten years but it could easily takeover some of its pawns to release it in just one. The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong still has some pawns hidden in the eastern continent that it can mind control without them knowing.

“I will just see all of you in a few years and when that time comes… I shall be stronger than before.” The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong stated as the Seal of Four Direction has indeed weakened and the Four Cardinal Divine Beasts will need to regain their strength again to fortify it.

“Who said that you will be sealed?” Adrian’s voice stated which made the Four Cardinal Divine Beast look in his direction.

“HAHAHA! You no longer have the power of the monkey king and even he could not vanquish me! What makes you think that you can kill me?!” The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong stated.

“Oh! I can but not alone.” Adrian stated as he immediately gave the signal to Levin Cloud.

Levin Cloud was inside the deep layers of the ley lines as Adrian believed that the guardian connection of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong is tied to the dragon veins of a continent. If they can find the what is binding the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong in the eastern continent then they might be able to permanently kill it. It took some time and a bit of luck but Levin Cloud is finally able to see the very core of the ley lines in the eastern continent.

“I found it! The ley lines are creating a tree like entity made with energy veins. Circling the ley line source is the insignia of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong. Still, I do not think we can kill it even if we lift the binding connection. Let me just shift somethings and see what will happen.” Levin Cloud stated as he started to dabble with the ley line core.

Levin Cloud created insignias for the Four Cardinal Divine Beasts and then proceeded to elect them as guardians of the eastern continent. Upon doing so, the connection of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong suddenly weakened. The binding force of the ley line core is suddenly shared between the five of them.

“I managed to mess around with the connection as you told but the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong is still connected. You would need an otherworldly force to kill it but you may be able to kill it as there are now backup guardians should the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong die.” Levin Cloud stated via their connection which made Adrian smile.

“Can you feel it?” Adrian suddenly asked the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong.

“It seems that you have lost your mind because of being hopeless.” The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong stated.

“I can feel it. Chaos.” Adrian muttered which made the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong shudder as nether and aether energy fused completely.
