Chapter 2741: Exploring the Void

The Daemos Elders all froze when Frey asked the question as they knew that extracting Equinox from the Void is like finding a needle in a haystack. The problem is also the fact that opening a rift in the Void is not the same as traveling to other dimension or worlds. The Void is basically a dimension in between the dimensions which means anything can go in but will have difficulty travelling out.

“The Void is a vast expansive universe on its own and we cannot pinpoint him now.” Elder Koronn pointed out as he knew that going to the Void is not something that can be easily done even for the Noblesse.

“I mean, can you not retrace or just reopen the rift that he got sucked inside of? He must still be in the same place at this moment.” Frey stated as she also knows of the concepts of spatial magic in the game since Adrian described it for her when she was curious.

“The Void is not the same as those other worlds or dimensions. The rift that appeared and took the brat cannot be recreated because the Void is not a dimension that can be easily pierced. Also, if I forcefully opened a rift in the same location at this point, I doubt that it would lead to the same one that the brat entered.” Elder Ascalor stated as he is now trying to find a way to help Adrian out of the Void.

“Can you please elaborate?” Frey asked as she thought that it should not be difficult for these powerful demons as she already witnessed what they could do.

“The Void is a different plane of existence from the real world. Also, it does not behave the same as our world when it comes to dimensions. The Void is an unstable place and space is constantly shifting in that place which means a door opened at a specific instance cannot be the same one that is opened again even if they are at the same location.” Elder Bronx stated.

“Opening a rift here will not lead to the same rift from earlier as the Void is constantly shifting. We might find ourselves opening a rift that leads directly into the heart of the Void where those powerful monsters are. Dealing with Aberrant Travelers is not something that we should focus right now.” Elder Ascalor stated with a serious expression.

“Aberrant Travelers?” Frey asked in confusion as this is a term unfamiliar to her.

“You can say that they are Void monsters that breached this plane of existence. They can easily terraform a kingdom within a day if left unchecked. Some are harmless while some just have an instinct to feed. The Void is not a pretty place to live unless you have powers that can manipulate reality like us.” Elder Koronn explained.

“Do you think if we worked together… we can recreate the exact rift that the kid went into?” Elder Bronx asked the other two elders.

“You mean we will use time, space, and force together in unison? That could be done as Koronn will manipulate time to rewind in this area. I will then tear open space to recreate the rift while you will keep it open using force.” Elder Ascalor stated.

“It will not be impossible but the result may not be what we expect. We have a 75% chance of failing and that is me being generous with the numbers. Even I do not know if we will succeed in opening the same rift. Shall we try?” Elder Koronn added.

“Let us try then.” Elder Ascalor nodded and all three transformed into their real appearances.

Elder Koronn manipulated the time in that specific area to coincide with the time that the rift is created. Elder Koronn then pierced space itself and proceeded to enlarge it further. Elder Bronx then slammed both his hands together to make the rift open wider and in a more stable manner.

“Its working!” Frey is overjoyed as a rift was forming which looked identical from the one that Adrian got dragged into.

Unlike Frey’s smiling face, the three Daemos elders looked like they were not happy. The rift that may look identical to Frey is actually different from the one that the elders traced back. The dimensional residue is not the same which means that they have failed. Just as they suspected, an eye suddenly appeared from beyond the rift but it was not the same red eye that abducted Adrian. It was a large blue eye that resembled gemstones.

“Destroy the rift!” Elder Koronn shouted as this was a different monster entirely which meant that they opened a different rift that leads to the Void.

As soon as Elder Koronn shouted that they needed to close the rift, the monster beyond it that was curious suddenly turned violent as ten rocky tentacles came out of the rift trying to stop it from closing. All three elders simultaneously stopped their mana from being funneled into the rift and it collapsed entirely. The monster that was about to come out of it had its tentacles cut off as the rift suddenly closed.

“Quickly! Destroy those things with fire!” Elder Bronx shouted as the tentacles that were cut off suddenly started wriggling and growing bigger.

Aurgelmir noticed the panic in the voice of the demons and immediately fired off his flame breath unto the tentacles. As soon as the flame breath burned the tentacles, a piercing shriek is actually emitted by the tentacles as they grown mouths. Seeing such horrifying abominations, Aurgelmir turned the heat up even more until the tentacles burned to ashes.

The ashes are then collected by Elder Ascalor while Elder Bronx condensed it into a stone. Elder Koronn then casted a spell that froze the time of the stone as an extra precaution. The sudden severe process that the Daemos Elders underwent has shocked all of those around them. They were too meticulous as if something bad will happen if they actually skipped a step.

“To think that we opened a rift to an Analyzer. We should really be careful in opening rifts that lead to the Void. It seems that even time manipulated here cannot influence time on that side. We cannot recreate the rift that the boy was sucked in.” Elder Koronn stated as he hid the condensed ashes of the tentacles in another dimension.

“Does that mean that Equinox cannot get back? Also, what was that!?” Frey stated in disbelief as her entire body actually froze up when she met eye contact with the monster from the rift earlier.

“We do not know what type of monster really is but we call them as Analyzers. A very powerful monster from the depths of the Void that is curious about everything. Their main way of investigating is through molecular disintegration. They will break down the bodies of anyone pitiful enough to pique their interest.” Elder Ascalor stated.

“It also has a body that can reproduce by itself which is why we needed to burn all of the tentacles that got cut off. Even the ashes from its burned body parts need to be contained and sealed away.” Elder Bronx added.

“For the brat, I would not worry about him for now. We already told him some tips and tricks that he needs to use when he is in the Void. Also, it is not his first time there and we would need to wait for his return. The other thing that we need to be wary about is the fact that a god has a relic that can call upon Void Monsters.” Elder Ascalor exclaimed as he knows that Adrian can get out but he does not know when.

“Possessing such relics are dangerous for this reality. Void Creatures are not things that can be controlled or subjugated. The fact that the monster abducted the kid is lucky for all of us because it did not leave its place. If there is a relic that can call upon a Void Creature in this reality then even all of us need to team up if it is a hostile being or a being that can terraform. It could erase this kingdom in just a day and make a place hospitable for itself.” Elder Bronx stated.

“I think this calls for a War Council for both our sakes. The Asgardian gods can no longer be left alone and the Daemos now have strong justification to join this war. Am I correct?” The Ice Queen Elona stated.

Just as the Ice Queen Elona stated, the Daemos now have justification for the destruction of Asgard. They have relics that can call upon the Void or even have something worse. This meant that the Daemos will now launch a full-scale assault to erase the Asgardians from this world.

“I am definitely lost. What did the elders say when I get trapped here again?” Adrian muttered as he is currently upside down but he is walking normally.
