Chapter 2750: Void Warlock

Adrian found himself dragged through different dimensional spaces inside of the Void. He did not think that he would be abducted in a place where space is volatile and time is erratic. All Adrian could do is make sure that he is safe from any danger or harm while he is literally being carried away.

Adrian could see the monster that dragged him and it looked like a starfish with shells that has one large eye being hidden by its opening body. The power of this monster is definitely more than him as he could not even muster any strength as he is getting dragged away. Adrian just made sure to prepare once he gets an opening and kill this monster if it does want to harm him.

“I thought it was one of those beings that saw me when I tapped into the dimensional frequence of the Void. Is it really just a coincidental monster with a hive mind?” Adrian thought as he could clearly see that this monster before him is clearly not one with autonomy.

Description: A monster that is living in the area of the Void called the Void Sea. It is a monster that has no autonomy and would be controlled by the Void Star Mother when it is near the hive. It is also a monster that is very common in the Void Sea and it is a very famous delicacy for other Void Monsters. It is said that its eye collects the unrefined Void Energy and then transforms it into a sort of pearl that other creatures of the Void love.

Adrian almost fainted when he saw the level of the monster that abducted him because it is basically overpowered. Even he will not be able to defeat a powerful monster like this alone and it was just a youngling. He knew that the Void is a place where there is a very high-level zone but he did not think that he would encounter it this early.

Adrian thought that the higher areas of the Void would be sealed and will not be able to be visited since his level is not that high yet. The developers surely intended it to be like that since the Void is an area where it is a mix of everything. Some players have reported to have fallen into the Void but they died in a day since their bodies cannot adapt or they were killed by other Void Monsters.

“What are the devs doing!? Why am I being targeted by an even more powerful one!?” Adrian shouted as he still got dragged by the the Void Star (Youngling).

The developers in question…

“Should that have happened? He got flung to an area where there should only be monsters that are slight below his level. Why is he suddenly being dragged to another place?” The director asked as this should not be in the scenario.

“We already brought the command to the AI but it has been rejected as player Equinox has triggered some sort of event with what he did.” One of the game developers stated as they did not want Adrian to freely explore the Void as it is part of a very late game expansion.

The Void has yet to be unlocked as it is still only a zone that could be visited by accident. There should never be items that can permanently send a player to the Void. The fact that the God of Mischief Loki managed to find and take this item from the Goddess Luminaria’s vault meant that it should have been used for another demon. In fact, the developers learned that Adrian should not have been the intended target of the relic as it should have been one of the newly ascended Noblesse.

The Daemos having four Noblesse persona holders is incredibly huge as they are basically almost on par with gods. Being a Noblesse might mean that they are demigod level demons but it also means that they are demons with the strength of a demigod. The Daemos Elders could easily deal with lesser gods as they have incredibly mastery over time, space, and force. The proof is the fact that even the Asgardian gods cannot stop the rampage of the Daemos Elders as of now.

“How did this happen?” The game director asked.

“It seems that player Equinox triggered this event when he and the player Frey were fighting against the God of Mischief Loki. The God of Mischief Loki would have been killed by player Equinox back then but the former activated the last chance of his Trickster’s Tome. In the end, the AI that is controlling the God of Mischief Loki could only see that using the relic being the only way to save himself from death.” The game developer stated.

“Which Daemos Elder was supposed to be trapped there?” The game director asked.

“The Daemos Elder that should have been sealed would be Elder Ascalor. He would have been trapped there for at least three weeks which would have made the Daemos back off against Asgard. With the Daemos backing off, the Asgardian gods would have been able to expand and conquer the entirety of the northern continent. This would have permanently made the Asgardians settled in the northern continent as well.” The game developer stated as this is one of the scenarios they approved on as races with divine blood needed to be introduced.

“Director! Ragnarok has been started early!” One of the game developers that monitored the progression of the northern continent suddenly stated which made all of those in this room groan.

“NOOO! This should not have happened this early! Ragnarok should have started four to six months from now! The content that is planned for the year would be bumped up because of this! How did Ragnarok start?!” The game director asked.

“It seems that the invasion of the Daemos jumpstarted it and the fact that the Norns cursed the God of Mischief Loki to die a horrible death.” The game developer stated.

“Who cares anymore! Let the players decide! Just make sure that we do not encounter any bugs in the process! Also, tell the team to get ready for overtime because the next updates are going to be bumped up.” The game director stated which made all of the game developers in the room deflate.

Back to Adrian…

The youngling Void Star burst out from the dimensional sea as Adrian calls it as it felt like he was getting dragged through water. It also felt like he burst out of water when they passed through the last dimension and arrived to a place that is incredibly twisted. It is a place that looked like a forest made of purple corals.

The youngling Void Star also proceeded to detach from his body as they landed on the ground. Adrian immediately summoned his sword armament to prepare for any sudden battle but the youngling Void Star did not attack him. The youngling Void Star made a beeping noise as it caressed the face of the being that is the mastermind of abducting Adrian.

“Interesting.”

A voice that sounded like five old men speaking at the same time reverberated in the area. It felt like the one speaking is not using vocal cords but the frequencies around them is being manipulated for it to speak. Adrian pointed his sword at this being because he felt the strength of a high god from it.

“No need to be wary of one such as myself, Void Daemos. I just wanted to see the form of the being that is said to have been forged from the essence of the Void itself. Your race has basically been erased from the Void because none of you live here now.” The being stated and Adrian finally had a good look at the being that commanded the youngling Void Star.

“Who are you?! Why did you take me here?!” Adrian asked as he released his aura even though he knew that it would have little effect on the being before him.

“I see that your kind attaches names as a sign of individuality and importance. It seems that human influence has also rubbed into your race when you integrated with them. If that is what makes you calm, you can call me the Void Warlock.” The Void Warlock stated.

Adrian could not believe the being he is seeing as he had the silhouette of a warlock but he is not human. The being before him has a humanoid silhouette but its body is made up of scaled armor while its arms looked like scaled tentacles contracting in order to seem like they are human arms. Most of its body is also covered in a dark purple hood but it might be some sort of skin membrane instead of being actual clothes.
