Chapter 2749: The World Serpent III

The God of Thunder Thor has gone mad as his lightning that was bluish in color has turned bright red. He has started to burn his own life in order to kill the World Serpent Jormungandr. The World Serpent Jormungandr, on the other hand, has already woken up fully as it has devoured a goddess. The divine energy flowing inside of its body has made it alert as the God of Thunder Thor descended upon it.

The World Serpent Jormungandr hissed at the God of Thunder Thor but the latter did not hear the warning because he is out for blood. The God of Thunder Thor might have gone mad but he can only see the World Serpent Jormungandr as a target for subjugation. The God of Mischief Loki that is the source of all of these troubles could be seen snickering in the corner.

The God of Mischief Loki could not believe that he would also get some divine energy if his child, the World Serpent Jormungandr, devours gods. He only called upon the World Serpent Jormungandr to have more fighting forces to rally with him. Even Elder Koronn had to be wary of the World Serpent Jormungandr as the God of Mischief Loki noticed that the demon is keeping some distance.

Elder Koronn could feel the power emanating from the World Serpent Jormungandr because it never bothered to hide it. The World Serpent Jormungandr has the strength equivalent to a Greater God that is about to become a High God. It had the strength of a greater god upon its arrival and it is now attempting to break free from the world restriction.

The World Serpent Jormungandr could become a being equivalent to a high god as it has the power to devour divine energy. The God of Thunder Thor is now its target as the next meal as it clashed with the god using its large body. The World Serpent Jormungandr is literally bigger than the God of Thunder Thor as the former could devour the latter whole in just one bite.

“LOKI! What have you done!” The God of War Tyr shouted as he abandoned his fight with Elder Bronx to confront the God of Mischief Loki. The only one fighting Elder Bronx at the moment is the Beast of Ogdoad.

“I may have a pact with Odin against harming him but that does not mean I cannot kill all of you off.” The God of Mischief Loki replied with a sneer.

“Impossible! Odin has given you explicit instructions to never harm us. You should not be able to do something like this!” The God of War Tyr stated as he looked at the battle between the World Serpent Jormungandr and the God of Thunder Thor for a moment.

“Just because Odin commanded me, it does not mean I will obey it fully per word. I, myself, might be unable to hurt all of you but it does not mean another cannot. I just need the hand of another to deal with trash like yourself. If I ruled Asgard then I could easily bring down this world to its knees earlier on.” The God of Mischief Loki stated.

The God of War Tyr wants to join the battle against the World Serpent Jormungandr but the demons are still here and a traitor is now in their midst. The God of War Tyr had no choice but to act as the judge and execute the God of Mischief Loki from the start. The God of War Tyr is also wary of the dagger that the God of Mischief Loki held because it is coated in poison that affected even a goddess.

The battlefield that is already a mess became an even bigger mess. The addition of the World Serpent Jormungandr made the terrain difficult to traverse easily. The World Serpent Jormungandr could easily cover the entirety of Asgard twice over. The World Serpent Jormungandr is not just large and long but it is powerful enough to unearth the ground itself just by moving its large body.

Elder Bronx could be seen fighting with the Beast of Ogdoad but even he needed to stop as he was called upon by Elder Koronn. Elder Bronx vanished from the midst of the battle with the Beast of Ogdoad which left the latter thinking where its enemy has escaped. Seeing that Elder Bronx is no longer present, the Beast of Ogdoad then charged towards its new target.

The Beast of Ogdoad then turned towards the God of Mischief Loki as the new target since the God King Odin still holds its leash. Just as the Beast of Ogdoad is about to lunge at the God of Mischief Loki, it started to convulse as if something inside of it has been awakened. The God of Mischief Loki smiled as the transformation is now in progress.

“It seems that one of their own has betrayed them. I get that he is a trickster god but loyalty amongst brethren should be utmost.” Elder Koronn stated as he and Elder Bronx moved away from the World Serpent Jormungandr.

“What are we going to do next? Should we proceed in killing the target?” Elder Bronx asked.

“I tried going near the God of Mischief Loki but he is perceptive. Not only him, but also the World Serpent Jormungandr is very perceptive when its father is in danger. It managed to find me and flick me with its tail but I evaded the sudden attack.” Elder Koronn stated.

“Since we cannot destroy the castle as the World Serpent Jormungandr is coiled around it, we should destroy the slabs that increased the territory of Asgard. Who knows! Maybe the World Serpent Jormungandr would destroy the castle without us moving.” Elder Bronx suggested.

“I agree. The gods here are now killing each other and we should get swept up in their fight. Let them try to kill each other while we reap the benefits. I will make sure to have them monitored.” Elder Koronn stated as both of them searched for the slabs.
