Kent said inwardly, staring at rows of texts written in red hovering before him.

’If I didn’t know better, I would say that damn Planet King might have finally succeeded in absorbing the Forsaken Bloodline, and so he had become a whole different level of crazy.’

Kent smiled, sitting in lotus posture as Kaelith sped them toward the domain of the Black Dragon.

’Still, this is my quest and regardless of the danger level, I would not abandon it, not when there is a lot riding on it.’

He sighed, seeing that he had received one Blood Life Seal and one Blood Death Seal.

’Although I doubt directly using the Blood Death Seal can kill that bastard, having it sure will give me an edge. However, with the Blood Life Seal, I would have to die twice before actually dying.

But, if I can refine it and make it a part of me before facing that bastard, then even demons will have a hard time coming to terms with my regenerative/healing abilities.’

Kent is happy, but he is also aware of the danger now looming over him. However, like he said, there is a lot riding on the quest, so regardless of the danger, he will see it to an end.

“Are you alright?” Sylvara asked, taking Kent’s hand and pressing it against her chest.

Kent opened his eyes and gave her hand a gentle squeeze with a smile on his face. “I am fine. You don’t have to worry about me.”

“Okay,” Sylvara nodded before resting her head on Kent’s shoulder.

Vey, who was seated behind them, watched all this with a calm expression on her face…

She is a Phoenix, a species that mostly prefers to mate with individuals of the same gender rather than the opposite.

They don’t need men to reproduce, since condensing their core flame was enough to form an egg and birth a phoenix.

Most Phoenix races are like this.

So she was indeed romantically interested in Sylvara. However, now seeing that she is chummy in Kent’s arms, she couldn’t help sighing in her heart.

’Mother said not all female beasts like to be with their fellow females, so this is normal. However, now, why am I looking at him like I want to devour him?’

Her gaze was entirely focused on Kent, making her wonder why. To her, men are nothing if not waste in her eyes.

She hates men and would rather die than be with one.

However, after meeting Kent, she couldn’t help but feel things she never thought possible toward him…

’I used to feel these kinds of feelings toward her, but now it’s like they have switched, and I can’t even feel a strand of it toward her; instead, they are all directed toward him.’

If her mom were to be here, she would laugh and lecture her on the act of love toward the opposite sex.

’Big sister is married to a Qilin male, perhaps one day, if I were to reunite with her, she will help me understand these feelings.’

Her gaze never left Kent as the days passed, still en route to the Ashfall Range.

Nine days later, Kaelith came to a stop just when they sensed a presence approaching them.

“That is Ignarok,” Vey said, flying off Kaelith’s back. “Looks like he is angry.”

The other monarchs nodded; however, Kent remained calm, looking toward the distance.

Fifteen minutes later, they saw a 600-meter-long black dragon speed toward them.

“He is not slowing down,” Kaelith said, his body trembling at the sheer pressure coming from the dragon approaching them.

“This crazy lizard.” Vey summoned her bow and was able to form an arrow when Kent tapped her on the shoulder to stop.

“I will handle him.”

With one quick step, Kent appeared 600km away.

His bloodline surged, and his demi-dragon form appeared, causing the air around him to turn chaotic. The six monarchs standing in the distance felt their bloodlines suppressed instantly.

“This…” Kaelith muttered, feeling like he was but a bug under Kent’s aura.

“Don’t look surprised, Kaelith, he is not somebody any of us can measure up to, trust me,” Sylvara said, hiding the fact that Kent is the Primordial Chaos Dragon that all beasts respect and look up to, to this very day.

Kent said he will tell them himself, so she could only get them thinking for now.

As expected, they all looked at Kent, wondering just what kind of existence he is.

’He is a dragon, that is for sure, but what kind of dragon is he to even make Ignarok that desperate?’ they said, looking in the distance where Ignarok, the strongest of the monarchs, slammed to the ground bearing the full weight of Kent’s bloodline suppression power.

Kent walks in the air, every step causing the pressure bearing down on Ignarok to increase.

“My sweetheart Sylvara asked me to beat the crap out of you for bullying her in the past, so no offense, but for this once let me simp and do what makes my lover happy.”

Kent stepped into the air, and the pressure pressed down on Ignarok’s leg, breaking it.

“I will heal you after.”

He took another step, and the second leg broke. With Kent’s pressure slamming down on him, Ignarok was back to his human form before he fell to the ground.

So breaking his bones has proven quite easy.

’So this is what using 35,000 Flame Veins and 9% of my bloodline can do.’

Kent thought, a rush of untamed energy rushing through his body.

’I wonder what will become of me after forming the Flame Core and the Blood Core Gate,’ Kent smiled, breaking Ignarok’s arm.

’Not forgetting, completely cultivating the first form of the Primal Body Tempering Art and even refining just one Blood Life Seal and Blood Death Seal, would undoubtedly cause my strength to explode.’

He took one more step, and the other arm broke.

Because of the pressure, Ignarok wasn’t healing. However, Kent had no pity in his eyes.

He is a dragon, and one would expect him to bond like brothers with Ignarok; however, the sly simp was currently fulfilling Sylvara’s wishes, so he could only relish the moment and make it up to him later.

“Next time, don’t bully others simply because you are stronger than they are.” Kent crouches down beside Ignarok and, using his index finger, taps Ignarok’s wrist, breaking it.

This time, a painful roar escaped his mouth, but Kent merely smiled.

“There is always someone stronger than you out there. So don’t bully, instead protect if you can or run if it is beyond you.”

With one more tap on the other wrist, Ignarok collapsed from sheer pain.

It was only after he collapsed that Kent deactivated his bloodline, taking away the suppression.

“Orvath, come carry him…”

Orvath nodded and carried Ignarok as they resumed their journey back to the Ashfall Range. A couple of hours later, they arrived and decided to wait for Ignarok to wake up.

Naturally, he woke up extremely angry, but when he saw Kent, he instantly calmed down.
