Chapter 1124: Fate Of Past Friends (5)

Chapter 1124: Fate Of Past Friends (5)

[Unknown Planet – Pill Immortal Nefeli’s Location]

A couple of months ago, when Kent’s name first appeared in the Universe, Pill Immortal Nefeli embarked on a journey to an unknown place.

She had been on the move for several months now.

At the moment, in a place filled with demonic-looking skeleton beasts, Nefeli held her sword firm, her expression calm as she cut through them like weeds.

She is an Immortal King, a relatively low cultivation base compared to the likes of Ignarok or Sylvara. However, despite her weak cultivation base, even the Immortal Emperor stage skeleton demons aren’t having it easy against her.

To many, she is just an Immortal King with 5 Immortal Qis. To many, that makes her an ordinary Immortal King.

However, to those who had faced her and lived to tell the tale, she is a Sword Immortal, someone who has both Immortal sword qi and Immortal sword intent.

She also has a Level 9 Immortal Sword Domain, something only a few swordsmen have managed to achieve.

But as if that isn’t enough, she also possesses an Immortal sword body and has cultivated her body to the Immortal Body stage. This meant she had already achieved the Nirvana Body.

Of course, the idea that she is also a Pill Immortal doesn’t even apply in the concept. However, when it comes to lethality, Nefeli is far more dangerous.

Now, she is facing one of the dreadful obstacles she has faced yet on this journey.

After an hour, she had dismantled them all and was on her way…

“Master, I think it is time for you to come out of seclusion. Your idol is back, and meeting him in person will be much more beneficial than refining his sword aura.”

Nefeli smiled.

When she met Kent back in Pyris Pill World, she found out he was the Primordial Chaos Dragon. However, Kent hinted he was more than that.

Initially, she had been skeptical about his other identities; however, when Kent’s name appeared on the Sword Dao Tablet, her suspicion was validated.

Kent was Lord Genesis, the Father of Swordsmen.

There is no denying it.

Now, she wanted nothing more than to reach the place her master had been in seclusion for the past 450 thousand plus years.

“At this rate, I will reach there in two more years. I hope by the time I make it back, Kent will come looking for me.” She smiled and increased the speed at which she was flying, a whirlpool of sword qi swirling around her.

[Planet Brima – Lady Kami’s POV]

In another immortal world, Lady Kami sat calmly in an immortal cave, her eyes closed, a halo of eight immortal qi swirling around her.

She had been in this place for the past 20,000 years, learning a new technique she had received from a sect she and her daughter joined when they ascended to the Immortal World along with Yuna, Nefeli, and the others.

Life has been pretty chill for her and her daughter. However, she wanted to become so powerful that protecting her man and her sisters when she is needed wouldn’t be hard.

Her mission is to learn the technique, refine her 9th Immortal Qi, and, if possible, reach the Immortal Lord stage before 100 years.

However, regardless of the situation, she will be walking away much stronger and more determined.

In essence, she is very determined, and as a result, she has spent all these years in seclusion. Soon, she will come out of seclusion, ready for when the Chaos Rift opens.

[Planet Olive – Supreme Fate Sect, Core Region – Lady Azela]

“Have you heard?” a disciple said, rushing into an inn filled with dozens of disciples from the Supreme Fate Sect.

“Heard what?” a different disciple asked, looking at the disciple who was starting the conversation.

“Big sister Azela had formed her 8th Immortal Qi while still at the Immortal Emperor stage.”

“WHAT!” the disciples in the inn shouted, feeling their expressions change from nothing to shock and amazement.

What they had just heard was something beyond them.

75,000 years ago, two sisters, Azela and Kami, arrived at the Supreme Sect with immense potential. Their arrival changed everything because, according to the sect elders, they had never seen two people with such a profound understanding of Fate.

Naturally, Lady Kami and her daughter were already legends in walking the Path of Fate before they ascended. However, their big break came when they explored the Tomb of an ancient immortal and found a manual on the Fate Path.

This knowledge changed them to the point that a powerful and mighty sect like the Supreme Fate Sect wanted nothing more than to spend their wealth on them.

So instead of becoming outer disciples, they straight away made them inner disciples.

Lady Kami and her daughter, Azela, became the subject of every conversation from the moment they arrived in the sect.

Four hundred years later, they became core disciples, and it was then that they began spreading the good name of the sect and establishing their own reputation.

Lady Kami is an Immortal Monarch, while her daughter is an Immortal Emperor.

However, for most Immortal Emperors, the maximum Immortal Qi they have is just six. But Lady Azela had seven, and just now, she had formed the eighth.

“How long was it when she formed the seventh?”

“If my memory serves right, that is about 1,200 years ago.”

“Damn… She is a monster among monsters. Not even the Supreme Fate Queen and King are this amazing.”

“True. Big sister Azela had proven that title or no title, talent is all that matters.”

“That is indeed true. This should also be a lesson to us all. Just because we come from weak and virtually no backgrounds doesn’t mean we are useless and that we should become rags for the wealthy and fortunate.

We have Big Sister Azela as proof of that. She came from no background, yet she is amazing.”

“You are absolutely right, Wade. We have a mentor, and so we should also work harder to make it.”

Just like that, the fate of thousands of students in Lady Azela had strengthened, and so had her own strength. She is a master of Fate, and so having people with Fate in her is like having gallons of petrol.

“Now, all I want to see is how the Supreme Fate Queen will handle it. I was told she is a rival to both Big sister Kami and Big sister Azela.”

“Me too. I want to see how she will handle this.”

“She is going to explode for sure. The last time she learned the Supreme Fate King talked to Big sister Azela, she nearly burned the sect to the ground.”

The disciples chuckled, and some even grinned.

This is their safe space. It is somewhere they can meet and let out their frustration for having to put up with the nuances of the Supreme Fate Sect’s high-standing disciples.

The disciples from the powerful backgrounds tend to look down on them and ridicule them. However, whenever they meet in the Cabin Inn, they let out their frustrations and finally get to badmouth their rich heirs.

In a way, they all see Lady Azela as their idol, and now that she has yet again set the bar high enough, they can only be happy for her and hope that soon, she will become even stronger.

In essence, everyone wanted to see a violent confrontation between the Supreme Fate Queen, one of the most popular and brilliant disciples in the Supreme Fate Sect.

With how high Lady Azela had set the bar, everyone would love to see her reaction to it.

“It will end badly for her. After all, Big sister Azela has two servants, a Phoenix and a Dragon. Unless she wants her scalp burned, she would do well to stay away.”

Everybody burst out laughing.
