Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 864: Opening Up

Chapter 864: Opening Up

Hearing Adina’s words, Kent was drawn into the danger his unknown accomplishment pulled him into. He immediately realised not everything is a good thing.

“If the entire universe is searching for me, then that means even gods and immortals are aware of me now, and they might even be involved in the search.

If that is the case, then I am fucked.”

The realization only made him look at Adina with a more concerned expression. “Are you being chased down by gods, too?”

Adina didn’t respond immediately.

She took a few breaths before she started to speak. “I am not being chased by gods. I am running because a Supreme wants my body.”

“What?”

Kent looked at Adina, expecting to see a pained look in her eyes. However, all he saw was determination. It was as if she had given in to the pain and was now looking to get out of it.

That is even more traumatizing when one looks at things from a much more neutral perspective.

She is but a mere Spirit Lord who a Supreme is chasing down. That wasn’t something that could be taken lightly. ‘It is even a miracle she is still alive and never gives up’

‘Who knows how long she had been on the run?’ Kent was unsure how to approach the conversation, as he had never expected Adina’s enemy to be a Supreme.

“Why does this Supreme need your body?” Kent eventually asked.

“Why else would a Supreme need my body if not for my Extreme Pure Yin Body Constitution?” Adina smiled weakly, a smile that contained her pain and anger.

“It turns out that being a succubus who inherited the Sin of Lust curse but managed to defy it by staying chaste has its downside, and mine came in the form of a heavenly constitution, one that got my entire clan killed.

So, well, being popular has its upsides, but trust me, the downsides are more than you can handle. So take my advice: as long as you don’t have the means to defend yourself against gods, never make everyone know your name or who you are.

You will regret it in the worst way possible.”

“Thanks for the advice, but don’t worry, I have everything under control.” Kent laughed, knowing that things wouldn’t be simple soon enough.

Of course, he planned to ensure his future was safe. No matter the odds, he is the Primordial Chaos Dragon. Who dares come against him?

“So, does this Incubus King work for this Supreme?”

“Yes. His name is King Uny; he was the one who slaughtered my clan and the one I planned on killing one day.

As for the Supreme, she can’t descend to the High Worlds, so I am safe from her. But the moment I reach the Immortal Worlds, she will come for me.”

“Then why don’t you just find a way to destroy this Extreme Pure Yin Body? I am sure a night with a handsome dragon will take care of it.”

Adina looked at Kent with a frown, then she sighed. Kent just laughed.

“It is not that simple. The Extreme Pure Yin Body I have has only partially awakened. If I were to taint it now, it would kill me. So I have to wait until I become an immortal to awaken it fully.

Of course, even if there were a way to taint it before fully awakening it, I wouldn’t. Although it was a curse I never asked for, it has also helped me navigate through the thick and thin.

Without my Extreme Pure Yin Body, I would have long died, so I can’t just do away with it.

I need it, even if it’s a curse that is putting a target on my back everywhere I go. In a way, the Extreme Pure Yin Body is part of me, so discarding it is not an option.

But while my death would probably solve the problem, I now know it isn’t as simple as I expected. Even if I were to die now, my body can still be claimed, and the Extreme Yin Body would fall into their hands.”

“Then, do you have a plan for when it has fully awakened?” Kent asked, but Adina just shook her head.

“I don’t have a plan yet, but I will soon. For now, I want to live long enough to awaken it fully. I will figure the rest out later.”

“Not a bad plan.” Kent chuckled. “If there is any consolation, know that I will get you to your next destination. The rest will depend on your will to live… But seeing you face off against sixteen mercenaries, I am sure you will bitch slap that Supreme when she arrives.”

Adina smiled, hiding her face from Kent; however, the dragon saw it and only smirked.

“Though I have to ask, don’t you have, like, a teleportation device that can take you to this place you want to go? Why come to this place teeming with powerful beasts?”

“I want to disappear for a while, and using the teleportation mountains is the best way. If I use other teleportation gates, they can easily track me.

But with the teleportation monuments, I will be able to have a moment of peace for a while before the danger finds me again. By then, I will know where to go next.”

“Sounds tedious.”

“Very.”

“Don’t worry, I will get you to where you want to go, and if fate wills it, we will meet again. Perhaps then I will be strong enough to go on a killing spree across the Supreme Worlds. Who knows, we might even succeed in killing this Supreme.”

“I look forward to that day.”

Kent then turned to Iver. He studied him with a focused eye, making sure nothing was missed. Soon, he noticed the ring around his finger.

“Dump the contents in your space ring here.”

Iver obeyed and started pouring everything out. There was a pile of spirit stones, which the tower quickly took away and added to Kent’s reserve of spirit stones.

There were also some weapons, some high-level Spirit Crystals, some skill books, and even a technique book for bow users. Iver doesn’t use the bow, but Kent suspected he might have wanted it for someone.

Some armors that Kent had no use for. There was also some junk, including a slab of bone, that Kent ignored at first.

However, after checking everything, he returned to the bone and decided to check it out.

“Strange markings,” Kent studied the bone for a few minutes before turning to Iver.

“What is this?”

“I don’t know. I found it in an ancient tomb, hoping it would fetch me some money, but it turned out to be just junk. I even forgot I still have it in my storage ring.”

“I see.” Kent perhaps expected it to be something good, but it turned out he was wrong.

He squeezed, attempting to shatter it, but to his shock, the bone never broke. “Damn, this bone is hard.”

Kent decided to use his spiritual qi to break it. However, the moment he channeled his energy into it, he felt his energy get sucked into the bone, and then he blacked out, falling on his back.

When he woke up, he was standing within a pool of blood, where the aura of slaughter was both visible and suffocating.

“Hahahahaha….” Suddenly, an evil, laughter-filled with dread, spread across the space.
