"It’s good that you spoke up. You mean to let your little sister take the exam tomorrow, right? Do you think she can pass?" Qin Xue trusted her little sister’s abilities, but she wasn’t sure what kind of questions the principal might ask.

"She will." Chu Molin was confident.

"Alright, I trust you." No matter how worried Qin Xue was, it wouldn’t help. She couldn’t let her sister know this, otherwise, it would make her anxious, which would not be conducive to her performance.

"You’re aware of her level, aren’t you? There’s no need to worry about that. If she doesn’t pass the exam here, I’ll think of another way." Chu Molin assumed Qin Xue was worried about not having a place to study, so he comforted her with these words.

"That’s not what I’m worried about. I have a general idea of how much Moshui Jiale knows, but I’m afraid she might get nervous and forget what she’s learned, which could hold her back." Qin Xue wasn’t oblivious to her sister’s nature; precisely because she knew, she was concerned.

"Alright then, if you’re fine, that’s good. Just remember to go to the exam tomorrow with a calm mindset. Do what you know, and leave what you don’t aside. If this doesn’t work out, we can find another way. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself." Qin Xue advised her sister, not feeling anxious herself as she had passed the college entrance exam, gone to university, and taken countless exams. Such affairs were as routine as they could be for her, unaffected by emotion.

But her sister was different; she hadn’t experienced much, and her emotions could definitely be swayed. Knowing the school Chu Molin mentioned was a good one, her approach was simple: if her sister could get in, that was great, and if not, they’d just find another path.

Since Chu Molin said it was a public school that would assign jobs after graduation, Qin Xue didn’t want her sister to achieve anything grand but also didn’t want to interfere in her life. She hoped this decision was her sister’s own, not one made for her.

"I understand, sis. Don’t worry about me. I know where my goals lie." Qin Jiale thought about things that sometimes didn’t exist and decided she would make them real.

Especially when it came to studies; making new friends would be fine anyway. At worst, she’d adapt again.

Qin Xue didn’t know what was going on in her sister’s mind, so she couldn’t see it that way. When she found out, it was years later during a gathering of the siblings, and her sister brought up the events of today, revealing how uneasy she had felt inside.
