Chapter 961 - 961: “Gozon”
“I know someone who’s close to a Great Spirit. I miss her a bit…maybe I should make a quick stop home?”
When Arthur casually mentioned changing Universes, his ego sword, Celestia, manifested her body and smacked him with her hilt.
[Don’t do that!]
Arthur just laughed, catching the blade in his hand as he replied.
“I know. I wouldn’t leave here till November. I also wouldn’t waste the energy since I have to go to Draco Sirus.”
“Draco Sirus? What’s that? A Sports drink?”
Evan asked, raising an eyebrow and Arthur shook his head as he unsummoned Celestia.
“It’s a Dragon Ruled Universe. You’d find a lot of your comrades there.”
Slipping an arm over Evan’s shoulder, Arthur grinned as he spoke, but Evan only snorted in response.
“Sounds like the kind of place where I’d see Stuck-up dragons who think anyone who isn’t 100% dragon is inferior to them.”
He sounded as though he’d dealt with elitists/racists like that before—an impression that was both true and untrue at the same time.
‘Draidan. The Dragonking Country on the Beta Continent. There are a lot of racist bastards there.
If it wasn’t for the fact that there’s a Hero in that country, I wouldn’t even think of going there.’
“True, those kinds of people exist everywhere.”
Arthur responded, his expression shifting as though he were recalling a few such individuals himself.
With these thoughts swirling in his mind, they approached the final checkpoint, where a lone demon stood guard.
For a moment, Evan wondered why such an important facility would only have one guard at the exit, but a moment later, it hit him.
‘This guy is definitely a Deity.’
There was no doubt about that.
The Demon Deity in question glanced at Alvey, McEnda and Sigesi, recognizing them all. But Arthur and Evan were unfamiliar faces to him.
[Who?]
“Special Guests of Demon Kings Westley and McEnda II.”
[?!]
The Demon’s eyes widened in astonishment at Alvey’s words. Being summoned by a single Demon King was noteworthy, but the involvement of both ‘Supreme’ Demon Kings of their generation was a rarity that left him visibly intrigued.
Still, he refrained from probing further.
After Alvey presented the official invitations and permits, the guard silently activated the Dimensional Gate.
A shimmer rippled through the air before the gate erupted into a radiant beam of light, enveloping the group entirely.
In a heartbeat, they were launched toward Gozon in one of many glowing beams streaking through space like spears, moving at an incomprehensible speed.
The journey was so instantaneous that before Arthur could utter a single word, they had already arrived on the planet’s surface.

“Fuck, my legs!”
Evan’s first words rang out as he nearly collapsed to the floor after emerging from the gate and materializing in a brightly lit, empty room.
Despite the gradual gravity adjustment he had undergone on the moon, the full effect of Gozon’s gravity still hit him hard.
Grimacing, he stumbled to a nearby chair and slumped into it, taking a moment to reorient himself. Just as he did, the world around them seemed to fade to monochrome.
“Arthur…”
All eyes turned to the godslayer, suspicion written plainly on their faces. Arthur, however, raised his hands defensively, shaking his head.
“I didn’t do this.”
He pointed his hand at a spot behind the other four and continued.
“She did.”
Everyone shifted their gaze to where Arthur pointed, the two Transcendents narrowing their eyes in response to the sudden appearance of a sixth presence in the room—one they hadn’t noticed until Arthur brought it to their attention.
‘Who is she and how did she get here?’
The question lingered in Alvey’s mind, but what unsettled him even more was the absence of any discernible presence from the figure, despite them all staring directly at ‘her’.
His spatial energy surged as he attempted to lock onto ‘her,’ but Arthur and Evan who instantly understood who ‘she’ was, immediately shouted for him to stop.
“|¬DON’T! !¬|”
Unfortunately, a fragment of Alvey’s energy had already reached ‘her’.
The good news was that Alvey finally managed to lock onto ‘her’. The bad news was far worse. The moment his energy connected, an overwhelming flood of sensory information struck his mind like a tidal wave.
“Gugk!”
“Alvey?!”
Clutching his head, he crumpled to his knees in visible agony, while McEnda’s concerned voice echoed in the room. Yet, the ‘woman’—if ‘she’ could even be called that—remained utterly indifferent, not sparing Alvey so much as a glance despite being the indirect cause of his pain.
‘She’ was tall, with iridescent eyes and long black hair tied up in a simple ponytail, that shifted to grey halfway down—a shade that showed ‘her’ age.
‘Her’ facial features were sharp, high cheekbones, a straight, narrow nose, and thin lips pressed into a faint frown.
Draped in a shimmering gown of obsidian black, ‘she’ wore a delicate silver pendant around ‘her’ neck, heightening ‘her’ mysterious aura.
Thanks to Arthur and Evan’s timely warning, Alvey severed his energy connection quickly, escaping with minimal harm.
But that second was all he needed to know who…no what this ‘woman’ was.
The reason he hadn’t initially perceived ‘her’ presence was now painfully clear—’she’ wasn’t beyond his perception because of stealth but because ‘her’ overwhelming presence completely filled the limits of his sensory range.
Normally, a presence would occupy a portion of his detection range, but ‘hers’ spanned its entirety, masking itself in plain sight.
And when his power finally connected to ‘her’, he saw the true scale of ‘her’ existence.
He perceived everything.
All 184.26 billion square kilometres of it.
Arthur’s voice broke the stunned silence, his tone calm yet certain as he voiced what Alvey now understood.
“You’re ‘Gozon’, aren’t you?”
“She definitely is.”
Evan affirmed without hesitation. His voice carried the absolute certainty that the figure standing before them was the planet itself.
The ‘Incarnation’ of the Prime World’s Consciousness.
Like ‘Aidos,’ whom Evan had encountered in the past, ‘she’ was a being to whom the concept of ‘gender’ did not apply.
‘Her’ true form was an ever-shifting mass of lights and colours, entirely unsuited for interaction with the sentient humanoids dwelling upon ‘her.’ To communicate effectively, ‘she’ adopted a humanoid appearance.
The reason ‘she’ resembled a woman was simply because ‘she’ had taken on the likeness of the individual who first suggested adopting a humanoid form billions of years ago.
When Arthur addressed ‘her’ by name, ‘her’ brows knit together slightly, and the faint frown on ‘her’ face deepened.
[A sudden surge of ambient Cosmic Energy and a great distortion of the Universal Law flow woke me up, and after tracing the source, I find two Grade fucking 7 Singularities!]
‘She’ glared at Arthur and Evan as she spoke, referring to them as ‘Grade 7 Singularities.’
Singularities were categorized by grades, delineating how much they could bend laws and avoid causality.
Lower Grades (1-3) made up 90% of the Singularities in existence and they only caused relatively minor disruptions. Make no mistake, they could still fuck shit up on a planetary scale with ease, but compared to higher grades, they were relatively minor.
Middle Grades (4-6) constituted the next 9%, demonstrating more significant disruptions. The final 1% comprised the Top Grades (Grade 7 and above? …if there can be anything above.)
They all had ground-breaking abilities and skills, got stronger at speeds worthy of resentment and flouted level barriers as if they didn’t exist, achieving feats that defied logic and reason.
In the case of Top-Grade Singularities, their presence could lead to events and phenomena that bordered on the apocalyptic. Their potential for growth and disruption was virtually limitless, making them both incredibly powerful and exceedingly dangerous.
Of course, they needed to get powerful for them to manifest the full extent of these destructive capabilities.
That was exactly how ‘Gozon’, a Prime World Consciousness with billions of years of experience, had referred to Arthur and Evan, leaving little room to doubt ‘her’ accuracy.
Another notable detail was that ‘she’ clearly disliked their presence, not at all hiding ‘her’ discomfort.
‘Come to think of it, ‘Aidos’ also said ‘she’ didn’t like my presence at first when I first got there. I guess hating foreign Irregulars/Singularities is something all Worlds share…’
Just as Evan had this thought, ‘Gozon’, who was focused on Arthur, spoke.
[What Universe birthed a Sub-Cosmic anomaly like you? Wherever it is, I’d like for you to go back there this very instant.]
Turning her attention to Evan, she continued.
[And you…do me a favour and get back to your own time period and cause your chaos there.]
In a single glance, ‘she’ had seen through their true natures and politely, as much as ‘she’ could manage, asked them to leave.
Alvey, McEnda, and Sigesi stood stunned by the turn of events.
They knew Prime Worlds had consciousnesses and had even encountered ‘Aramis’ before, but this was their first time meeting ‘Gozon’, and ‘her’ mood was far worse than how ‘Aramis’ had been.
Still, they couldn’t let ‘her’ just eject the two boys.
“My Apologies, however, that would not be possible.”
McEnda spoke, and at last, ‘she’ turned her gaze on him. For a moment, ‘her’ expression showed confusion, but within a second, she accessed her own records and realized who he was.
[Your Jack’s grandson?]
It was clear from ‘her’ words that ‘she’ was familiar with McEnda’s grandfather.
“Yes. Unfortunately, both of them are guests of both my father and Demon King Westley. As such, they cannot leave even if you wanted them to.”
[…]
‘Gozon’ went silent for a moment.
[Tsk…]
The irritated sound of ‘her’ tongue clicking echoed through the room.
[This is why I told your father and Valren not to let Westley in here! But NO! They didn’t listen and still did it anyway!]
‘Gozon’ was fuming.
[I told them it wouldn’t end with just one Grade 7 from another Universe, but no, they still didn’t listen. Now look, he’s brought in two other Grade 7s as well!
Just perfect!!!]
After ‘her’ rant, ‘Gozon’ turned and vanished, leaving the flow of time to return to normal. ‘She’ was likely off to vent to the two Demon Kings that McEnda had namedropped.
Silence hung in the air for a few seconds after McEnda’s words, and it was Arthur who finally broke the stillness with a question.
“Is it me or did ‘she’ just confirm that ‘Demon King Westley’ is from another Universe?”
“Yep. She most definitely did.”
She also confirmed that ‘Demon King Westley’ was like Arthur and Evan; a Grade 7 Singularity!
“From my knowledge, World Consciousnesses don’t like Singularities much. Even more so if they’re from other worlds.
I’ve had one consider yeeting me into space once.”
Evan spoke with a sigh, recalling his meeting with ‘Aidos’, and Arthur responded with a casual shrug.
“Well, looks like this one’s at least gonna tolerate us. Even though ‘she’ clearly doesn’t want to.”
Arthur quickly dismissed the matter and walked toward the door, muttering to himself.
“I wonder what ‘Aeturn’ looks like. I’ve never met them…”
“Aeturn? That’s your home world, right? It’s a Prime World too?”
Evan asked after overhearing him, but Arthur shook his head and responded.
“Aeturn left the ‘Prime’ stage aeons ago. It’s an Apex World.”
