Chapter 1803: Break Your Limits Or Die!
Chapter 1803: Break Your Limits Or Die!
—–
Justicio charged forward, using his newly created Wind Armor to unleash several gusts of wind from his metallic wings and his giant axe, pushing back the glitching magical rune aberrations created by the nameless Blazing Ant Conjurer. Giant explosions of wind, flames, and even lightning erupted everywhere, constantly pushing the beasts back. Some of them were destroyed, exploding into rune fragments and then disappearing.
They didn’t exactly know what the hell those things were, but Agua, the smartest of the trio, assumed they were some sort of especially powerful Soul Weapon. The entire magic of this ant was “fake,” as it was a byproduct of its Soul Weapon, and once these magic circles grew corrupted as the ant unleashed all of its power, mixed with its pain, rage, and fear, this was produced.
“DIE! DIE! DIE!”
The Blazing Ant Conjurer screamed furiously, its small claws pointing at Justicio and the girls behind him as the Aberrant Runic Beasts mixed together into a massive maw, biting Justicio and devouring him alongside them!
CRUUUNCH!
“Disappear!”
The ant laughed as its magic erupted with even more power, closing its claws as the massive runic beast’s maw closed, constantly trying to crush the young warriors within it with all its strength.
And yet…
BOOOMMM!!!
An explosion of water erupted from within the beast as countless streams of azure water emerged from every single hole in the maw, ultimately blowing the entire thing apart in seconds! The attack didn’t stop there, as the water moved toward the blazing ant, rapidly freezing and gaining sharp, spear-like ends, attacking the ant’s barrier with all its strength.
Amidst the smoke behind this spell, Agua appeared, half of her body having become frost itself, as she had further expanded the power of her Water Spirit Physique, evolving it even further in this life-or-death situation.
“Haaaahhhh!”
As Agua screamed, pushing herself to her limits and beyond, even as she felt immense pain through her body, her arms divided into dozens of giant ice limbs with sharp spear ends, constantly attacking the ant’s barrier.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
“GOOOO!”
Agua screamed her lungs out as Silvia and Justicio jumped onto her arms, using her ice as platforms to move through them, sliding rapidly. Amidst the mist generated from all the ice exploding, they were able to hide themselves easily, reaching the ant, which was constantly trying to retaliate with its corrupt magic.
“You dare believe you stand a chance against me?! You’ll see that my magic is vastly superior to—ACK?!”
However, the small ant’s eyes widened as it saw both Silvia and Justicio jumping at it from left and right, their giant, powerful weapons overflowing with their Magical Auras.
“RAAAHHH!”
“GAAAHHH!”
Both roared at the same time, their weapons impacting the barrier with immense force! Justicio’s axe, which had gained the power of his new green armor, erupted with slicing gusts of wind, while Silvia’s mechanical hammer unleashed a powerful shockwave of sunlight and divine power from Khepri’s equipment.
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
Each blow generated a huge explosion. The blazing ant conjurer desperately attempted to hold them back, its Runic Beasts surging and surrounding the two, biting through their armor and attempting to tear them to shreds.
However, they roared as their Beast Auras erupted at full power!
“KRIEEEEHHH!”
Justicio’s Beast Aura emerged, resembling a massive golden insectoid beast, tearing apart everything with immense force and destructive power.
“HYAAAAH!”
At the same time, Silvia’s Beast Aura surged, resembling a tall, beautiful scarab lady made of gold and silver, holding two hammers, pulverizing her surroundings.
With the combination of their physical blows, Agua’s Ice Spear Spirit Arms, and their Beast Auras in unison, the impossible was accomplished, as the immensely powerful Tier 9 Barrier Spell protecting the Blazing Ant Conjurer…
Crack, crack…!
Shattered!
CRAAASH!
“N-No! AAAAAGGHH!”
The ant panicked, its Aura rapidly encompassing its body as the Runic Beasts merged with it, desperately attempting to defend itself. However, as someone who had only fought using magic, fighting physically was too much to ask.
“{Spiritual Insectoid Axe Arts}: {Thunderous Dragonfly’s Jaws}!”
Justicio’s roar reverberated through the surroundings as his technique manifested, the culmination of his magic and his training, all together! His Beast Aura transformed, becoming a giant dragonfly opening its jaws. Destructive thunder and wind engulfed the ant. Each bite was a destructive blow, destroying its magical armor.
CRASH! CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!
“{Holy Soul Hammer Arts}: {Nova Smite}!”
At the same time, Silvia unleashed her simple yet deadliest technique, constantly hitting the ant and releasing explosions of light so intense that its magical armor started to melt before the plasma-like heat produced by her blows, which endlessly impacted the creature’s body.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
“AAAAIIIIIEEEGGGHH…! MOTHEERRRRRR…!”
The Blazing Ant Conjurer screamed in horror and agony as its entire body was being torn apart! Justicio’s axe cleaved the creature into pieces, while Silvia’s hammer crushed its skull and armor until it became incredibly soft.
“{Frost Spirit Spear}!”
At that moment, Agua’s water and ice magic manifested, transforming her arms and fusing them into a giant, rising frost spear, surging upward and impaling the ant’s body, shattering its Spirit Core and destroying its magic once and for all.
BOOOMMM!!!
The Blazing Ant Conjurer exploded into tiny frozen pieces, splattering everywhere and covering the land with its frozen parts as the trio dropped to the floor, exhausted.
“Did we… do it?” Silvia asked, gasping for air.
“Y-Yeah… I think so…” Justicio sighed. “Hahah… we did it!”
“Hmm!” Agua nodded happily. “We did it, guys! I knew we could do it together!”
The trio laughed, feeling refreshed and even stronger after defeating such a strong foe. Their Physiques and Magic Circles developed rapidly, evolving with each battle as they pushed themselves to their limits.
What they didn’t see was the frozen fragments of the ant rapidly unifying, regenerating, and once more standing there, furious.
Until it was too late.
“Die…”
And frost suddenly emerged, encompassing all of them in a single second.
FLAAASH!
