Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 1804: She’s Here

Chapter 1804: She’s Here

Agua was barely able to see what happened at that moment. For a single second, her eyes stared at something strange standing behind them. She realized that the thing they had killed had somehow come back to life out of nowhere. Her ice, which she used to kill it, had been assimilated by it, and it had grown bigger and more monstrous, no longer small and weak-looking.

“Guys!”

As she screamed, a wave of frost rushed toward them after the ant spoke a single word, sending chills down everyone’s spines as a massive wave of Mana engulfed them, attempting to freeze them to death with a single attack.

“Die…”

Frost suddenly emerged, encompassing all of them in a single second.

FLAAASH!

And yet…

BOOOM!

An explosion erupted a second later, the frost instantly shattering into pieces, saving them all from certain death. Even Agua wasn’t sure she could survive being completely frozen like that.

“E-Eh?!”

“W-What happened?”

“A-Aqua… Aquarina!”

Silvia, Justicio, and Agua’s eyes widened as they saw their friend appear at the last moment. The heroine rushed down and shattered the wave of frost with her bare fists, breaking it into pieces and saving them from death.

“You guys alright?” She looked at them with her glowing blue eyes, her long white hair waving in the wind. Her entire being looked majestic and strong. The battle she had just fought must have pushed her so much that she grew even stronger.

“You’re here?! Did you beat the ant you were fighting?” Justicio asked in disbelief.

“Yeah,” Aquarina nodded. “I came running here, thinking you would be struggling, but to think you managed to beat it! Well done! You make me really proud, haha!”

“But we didn’t beat it! That thing is still somehow alive!” Silvia said. “W-What’s going on? We tore it apart into tiny bits!”

“This doesn’t make any sense…” Agua said, her eyes filled with despair.

“KRIEEEEEEGGGHHH!”

Interrupting their words, the ant roared furiously. Its body had grown thrice as tall, now standing as large as five meters, with four giant arms and claws. Its exoskeleton, which was red, was now clear blue and covered with countless spikes of sharp, hard frost. Its breath exuded cold air everywhere, and its blue eyes resembled sapphires.

“It really doesn’t when you think about it, but those things are Heroes to a Divinity, and Divine Protection is one of the Heroes’ greatest cheats,” Aquarina explained. “It allows us to survive a fatal blow no matter how badly we’re damaged. Even if we get torn to pieces, we can revive… It usually works once a day, though, and it’s one of the reasons why Heroes can survive so much and are feared… Now we’re fighting monsters with such powers.”

“N-No way…!” Justicio said. “Aquarina, you have that power too?!”

“Yeah,” Aquarina said. “Although I’ve only used it against really strong foes… I don’t really like dying, if I can help it and-”

RUMBLE!

The ant rushed toward Aquarina in that very second, leaving behind an explosion of frost. Its four arms surged toward her as ice encompassed everything, a cold wave shocking their surroundings.

CRAAASH!

“Gaaagh?!”

However, the ant’s eyes widened. Aquarina’s hand moved faster than it could have ever predicted, slamming its head down into the floor and making its armor shatter into pieces.

“You’re pretty damn rude interrupting my conversation with my friends. I was trying to explain to them how you’re even back to life.”

As Aquarina glared at the ant, the furious creature roared back. Its intelligence from before was gone, as cold was the only thing encompassing it. Perhaps intentionally or by error, the cold that killed it had now made it evolve into a monstrous being.

“KRIEEEERRRGGHH!”

With a furious shriek, the ant stood back up and attacked Aquarina. Its four claws rushed toward her while dozens of frost icicles manifested one after another, trying to pierce and impale her body from every direction.

“You damn…!”

Aquarina rapidly intercepted the incoming blows. Frost covered her body constantly, only to quickly shatter into pieces and disappear. Her fists clashed against its claws, generating shock waves that shook their surroundings. The floor shattered and gained dozens of cracks.

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

As this happened, Justicio, Silvia, and Agua glanced at the scene in disbelief. Aquarina was holding her own against a foe much stronger than the one they fought before…

“Just how strong is she?!” Justicio asked.

“She’s… well, she has always been strong,” Silvia smiled.

“We can’t stay here, though. We have to help her! Aquarina might be stronger than us, but she’s tired. She had a big battle just before. We can’t just let her handle everything… It wouldn’t be fair,” Agua said, standing up as her Aura surged, resembling the faint silhouette of the Great Spirit of the Oasis. “We have to fight!”

She raised her staff, as colorful azure and sparkling water of rainbow light manifested around her, swirling upward into a powerful torrent that quickly transformed. A hard snail-like shell formed, covered with hard ice shards, as a large sea snail emerged from beneath, with big, rainbow eyes and many long tentacles, like those of an octopus.

At the same time, Shelly, her Spirit, appeared by her side, unleashing its full power. Agua activated her Spirit Fusion Spell, which she hadn’t tested enough, and used it instantly.

“{Spirit Fusion}!”

FLUOSH!

Shelly and her Beast Aura merged with her body. Her appearance rapidly changed. Her skin became blue and colorful, iridescent with snail scales. On her back, a beautiful shell made of frost and colorful crystals manifested. Her hair became long, like water, her eyes turned rainbow-colored, and her appearance resembled a mix between humans and the sea snail people of the dungeon.

“I can still fight…! Will you two help me out?”

Agua had taken control of the situation. Both Silvia and Justicio were shocked by her determination… but also knew that this was the only way they could continue growing.

“Alright!”

“Let’s do this!”

The two nodded, transforming once more as their armors encompassed them, rushing toward the ant and Aquarina.

“Looks like you did a terrible job at trying to break their spirits. They’re coming for more, buddy.”

“UGH?!”
