Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 1114: Famous Decipherer

Chapter 1114: Famous Decipherer

Feeling the dagger-like stares that seemed to contain lethality laced with poison, Xu Feng nearly had the intention to turn around and flee.

Unfortunately, the moment he had the slightest intention to escape, he felt an overwhelming pressure locking him down.

With a bittersweet smile, he turned his attention to Thorin.

"You’ve come here from a long way!" Thorin flashed a wide smile and gestured with his hand.

"I would feel sad if you just walked away instead of greeting me. Or is it that you have no need for our blacksmith anymore?"

"..."

Xu Feng was rendered speechless.

What a blatant threat to cut ties with his guild if he were to flee!

’Tsk, as if I’m actually afraid of you.’ He clicked his tongue, sneered inwardly, and flexed his muscles.

Soon, the pressure imposed upon him was dispelled.

A look of surprise appeared on Thorin’s face. Although he didn’t plan on using his maximum power to pressurize Xu Feng, it was still 70% of his actual power.

’This brat has gotten stronger since the last meeting.’ Thorin nodded silently in approval.

Seeing the improvement in strength meant that Xu Feng didn’t idle around or waste their life like these disappointing younglings.

These younglings disappeared for so long! And when they returned, they only knew how to bring back chaos and disaster.

Meanwhile, this brat was a different breed.

Every time he returned, there were bound to be new things available that made her daughter excited and busy.

"Damn, how hateful." All of a sudden, Thorin’s mood soured. He nearly held an urge to explode his full strength upon Xu Feng to teach him a lesson.

Naturally, his sudden change of mood was discerned by Xu Feng.

’What is this old bastard thinking about?’ Xu Feng frowned and wondered what degree of father complex he was suffering from.

It had to be the highest form possible, right?

If anyone were to tell him otherwise, then Xu Feng would gladly send them to the vanguard to test.

As for what kind of test?

It was naturally sending them to flirt with Fiona in front of Thorin!

He would gladly pay them 5,000 dollars if they made it out alive without a scratch on their body.

Sometime later, Thorin dispersed the crowd and sent them to another blacksmith.

"Shoo, go find the other old bastard to fix your equipment!" He waved his hand dismissively.

And for those who remained stubborn and refused to give up. His eyes quickly flared up in anger.

"I fixed hundreds of pieces of equipment today already!" Thorin snorted and raised his legs in a way to threaten those who remained would only receive a kick in their butt.

Instantly, the younglings were left with no choice but to run for their lives.

In the midst of the commotion, Xu Feng also pretended to be one of the younglings to flee the scene, only to realize the back of his collar was grasped tightly by someone.

"Haha, I was just trying to join the fun." Turning around, he flashed an awkward smile at Thorin. Indeed, the one who got hold of him was none other than Thorin.

This ridiculous blacksmith who seemed to have a step in the door was still so fast in his movements!

"Oh, really? You sure know how to join the fun. Why don’t you come inside, and I’ll show you something even more fun?" Thorin smiled brightly, flashing his perfect teeth.

"Haha..." Left without a choice, Xu Feng regretted being spotted. It was so much easier to interact with Fiona versus her father.

However, he also knew that to decipher the two blueprints in his hands, only Thorin was capable of doing it.

’Ugh, where did Fiona go?’ He needed her presence to tame this hot-tempered father of hers.

Sometime later, Xu Feng was dragged inside the blacksmith, where the exit door was then tightly shut.

Thorin’s expression also darkened.

"Alright, brat!" Thorin took a seat and stared at him. "I know you didn’t come here to visit me out of goodwill. So speak your objective and I’ll speak mine later on."

Nodding, Xu Feng found an empty seat and relayed the two blueprints. Naturally, he omitted most of the backstory on how he found them.

It wasn’t that he didn’t believe Thorin, but he found it unnecessary to divulge the information in an isolated place.

After all, he came to realize the place was facing a danger brought back by the returned generation from their ancient ruin. The Colossus wasn’t even in the picture, so why bother revealing it?

"Hmm, so you wanted my deciphering skills?" Amused, Thorin raised his chin up and extended his hand. A look of superiority could be discerned from his expression.

And like a gentleman, Xu Feng chose to be a blind man. Instead, he took out the encrypted blueprints and placed them on the table.

"These are the encrypted blueprints." Xu Feng said. "How much do you want to charge?"

Normally, he would have negotiated and bargained for a low price. But given the circumstances, he could not afford to idle around the village for long.

Seeing the encrypted blueprints, Thorin’s expression gradually turned solemn.

"Where did you find these?" He held one of them and asked, before forgetting how terribly his question was. "Actually, never mind. It didn’t matter where you got them from. What matters here is the fact that these two blueprints are something that can change the tide."

"As expected of you." Xu Feng smiled lightly. "You’ve recognized the blueprints without even deciphering them yet."

There was a reason why he came to a blacksmith over actual deciphering stores.

The truth was that Thorin Forgefire wasn’t a blacksmith in the beginning.

Instead, he was a famous decipherer, capable of even deciphering legendary rank items.

"You little brat sure knows how to find the correct person," Thorin snorted and placed the blueprint down. Although he was amazed by them, his eyes didn’t reveal any greed or desire to take them for himself.

He was a professional with a code of ethics and morals engraved in his heart!
