Lu Yin stared into the empty space in front of him. Even though he had not seen the face of the Great Master, their sincerity towards humanity had been made abundantly clear. The Great Master was another whose perspective surpassed that of a single megaverse.

The conversation with the Great Master had cleared many of Lu Yin’s doubts.

Only by becoming an Immortal would he truly possess the qualifications to represent the Tianyuan on a larger scale.

The Great Master had been absolutely correct. Whether or not the Tianyuan Megaverse would be reset did not depend on the Nine Odysseys Megaverse itself, but rather on what happened within the Aevum Inch. Lu Yin looked up at the sky. If not even the three Greater Sancti could find that skeleton, then it would be nearly impossible for Deathmound to find anything.

“What do you think of him?” The Great Master’s voice returned.

Li Guo took a moment to consider the question. “He’s domineering, but he still has principles. He is deeply devoted to his Tianyuan Megaverse and will never abandon his goals. He repays grudges and is genuinely a man of his word.”

“That’s a very fair assessment.”

Li Guo replied, “He isn’t a petty villain or a bad person, but he is also not a good person.”

“A good person? How many ‘good people’ are there in the cosmos? Simply not being a bad person is already the highest praise.”

“Can you invite him to join Deathmound?”

“No, and I won’t.”

“Why not?”

“Deathmound is too small for him.”

In the East Domain, a frightening bloodlust covered the sky above the Seventh Night Pillar. The land nearby was covered in dry, hard earthen shards and iron-like trees. A powerful heartbeat echoed beneath the ground, where the Morrow Behemoth slept.

Of the three Greater Sancti, Greater Sancte Awe Gate and Greater Sancte Green Lotus’s disciples were approachable, but Greater Sancte Blood Tower’s disciples were a different matter. All of them were battle maniacs.

Just as the fat man was thinking about this, the sky turned green in a different direction, startling people. “Is that... Jing Lian? Is he also coming?”

“I am Jing Lian. ‘Jing’ means purification, but it can also mean respect. ‘Lian’ is the lotus of a single lotus, and it is also the lotus of Greater Sancte Green Lotus.” His words echoed throughout the entire region.

Suddenly, a blood-red light tore through the sky, slicing at Jing Lian.

The man instantly grew enraged. “Wei Heng, it’s you again! How dare you attack the sacred lotus?”

“You shameless fool! Get down here!”

“You’re the shameless one, you brute!”

As the two spoke, blue and red light clashed and intertwined, filling the entire sky as they competed with each other for dominance.

The blood-colored light retreated, and Jing Lian gave a contemptuous snort. He quickly adjusted his clothes and then bowed in the direction of the Seventh Night Pillar. “Thank you, Senior Gu Duanke, for driving that brute away. I have arrived.”

Jing Lian’s arrival caused the Seventh Night Pillar to grow quite lively. Many people visited the man. Despite his thick skin and self-proclaimed title of being Greater Sancte Green Lotus’s most talented disciple, he was still a Greater Sancte’s disciple. Even if he was only a nominal disciple, he could still visit the Sea of Karma at any time. That was enough to grant him an impressive status.

However, Jing Lian paid a visit to someone: Venerable Lan Ye.
