Chapter 1242: Say Hello To My Little Friends!
Chapter 1242: Say Hello To My Little Friends!
“Are you sure you won’t help him?” Kamrusepa asked Cranky.
“If he needs it, he’ll ask for it,” Cranky replied. “That’s how it’s always been. He hasn’t asked me for anything, which means he already has the situation under control.”
Cranky had accompanied Thirteen in his greatest battles in Solterra and Pangea.
The teenage boy never shied from pulling Cranky along to battles, and this trip to Antares was no exception.
“Well, he is shameless enough to do that, yes,” Kamrusepa commented. “This is why he gets along so well with Camazotz.”
Cranky smiled faintly, knowing the Death Bat had indeed changed after fighting alongside Thirteen.
He was no longer the Majin Prince who bullied the weak and feared the strong, and it was all thanks to Thirteen’s influence.
Misha and the blue-eyed lady stood on the other side of Kamrusepa.
They all looked at the teenage boy standing on the back of the Vermilion Bird, Zarn, whom Thirteen had freed from the Domain of the Apocalypse under some conditions.
Zarn soon watched as the teenage boy walked straight toward Freesia City, the first border city that belonged to the Blackfang Dominion.
The leader guarding the city, a Boarkin Jinn, immediately reported to King Valtheron that their target was about to enter their city.
Since they wanted Thirteen to enter the range of the Great Killing Array, the Boarkin Jinn, Boreas, ordered the guards to keep the gates wide open, so Thirteen and Cranky could quickly enter the city.
If only possible, he wished for Kamrusepa and the three representatives of the Venom Heart Cabal to also enter so they could all be dealt with in a single strike.
As Thirteen walked past the city gates, several Boarkins laughed at him, believing the arrogant human was now in their grasp.
Although they weren’t physically touching him, as long as the Great Killing Array was activated, no one would be able to leave it unless the Great Shaman, Rhovan, allowed it.
’It seems that the Majin King really has no intention of entering the city,’ Rhovan thought as he looked at the crystal ball in front of him.
He then narrowed his eyes as he focused his attention on the human boy, who was casually strolling in the city as if it belonged to him.
“Seize him!” Boreas ordered. “If he resists, break his arms and legs, but don’t kill him!”
Although the Boarkin Leader was confident about their Great Killing Array, he still felt a little anxious. Their ultimate weapon might be powerful, but the strength of a Majin King mustn’t be underestimated.
If only he knew that Cranky wasn’t just a Majin King but a Celestial, he might not have given such an order out of fear of retribution.
The Boarkin Guards all laughed as they surrounded Thirteen, weaponizing intimidation to make him submit to them.
“Did you hear that, boy?” the Boarkin Guard Captain asked. “Come with us peacefully, or you’ll get hurt.”
“Can I say something first?” Thirteen asked.
“Sure,” the Boarkin guard Captain replied. “I’ll let you have your last words.”
Thirteen smiled and snapped his fingers. “Say hello to my little friends!”
A second later, Rocky rose from behind Thirteen and let out a deafening roar.
It was now a Rank 9 Sovereign Hell Lord Bal-Boa, and it made the Boarkin Guard Captain almost piss himself on the spot since he was only a Rank 7 Overlord.
Their Leader, Boreas, was also a Rank 9 Sovereign, but compared to Cranky’s presence, the Boarkin Leader fell short.
However, it didn’t end there.
Giga, Blacky, Hercules, Stacy, O1, O2, and the Trolls all emerged from Rocky’s Mobile Fortress.
All of them were now Rank 7 Sovereigns, and the moment they appeared, the Boarkin Guard Captain and his Guards all ran away and screamed like little girls.
“Run, pigs, run!” Pico laughed as it circled its companions. “We will turn you into bacon!”
“I haven’t eaten Boar meat in a long time,” Pica said while perched on Giga’s head. “Time to start roasting!”
The two Pocopocos were now Rank 4 Monsters, which was already a very high rank for their age.
They still needed time to consolidate their strength after Thirteen had fed them with High Quality Jinn Cores, speeding up their growth.
“Great Shaman, help us!” Boreas shouted in desperation the moment Thirteen’s monster army started their rampage.
As long as Thirteen’s original monster army wasn’t up against Rank 9 Sovereigns and Majin Princes, no one in Antares would be able to stop them!
Even Rank 8 Sovereigns wouldn’t stand a chance against these battle-hardened warriors, who had accompanied Thirteen since their fight against Arundel the Destroyer.
“Hello, Police?” Pico said in a teasing tone while circling high above Boreas. “I would like to report a crime! Yes! One giant hog, ugly face, guilty of bad leadership and public squealing without a license!”
“Officer, that’s him!” Pica joined her brother and also mocked Boreas, who was now retreating back to his Fort after Rocky made his appearance. “The suspect is armed with tusks, covered in mud, and guilty of seriously hogging all the good food, leaving only the grubs to his subordinates!”
Boreas didn’t give a damn about whatever the two Pocopocos were saying. He didn’t mind fighting those who were weaker than him, but fighting those who were stronger than him?
Not a chance!
However, he didn’t notice that even if Thirteen’s monster army was beating the crap out of his minions, they didn’t kill a single one of them.
While some of them received injuries, none of them were fatal, and the majority of them were just knocked unconscious.
Just as Thirteen thought that the Great Shaman wouldn’t do anything, he felt a prickling in the air, prompting him to look up in the sky.
Countless runes started to appear above the city as Rhovan finally activated the Great Killing Array to annihilate Thirteen’s Monster Army.
“Finally,” Thirteen smiled faintly as he raised his right hand and pointed at the biggest rune that was shining brightly above the city. “Thanks for the treat.”
The golden rune shook visibly as Thirteen forcefully took control over it.
Rhovan was about to unleash the power of the array, but something happened that made him gasp in shock. The formation within Freesia City had escaped his control!
However, before he could even understand what happened, he sensed something that made his eyes widen in disbelief.
“Stop the activation of the Great Killing Array!” Rhovan shouted to his subordinates after he realized what was happening. “Stop it now!”
Unfortunately, once the Array had been activated, stopping it shortly was difficult.
Even if they cut off its supply of power, it would continue to manifest for ten minutes at the bare minimum.
However, ten minutes was more than enough for Thirteen to hack the Oblivion Glyph and take full control of it.
All he needed was for its creator, Rhovan, to activate the formation, after which he could finally use the backdoor that Tiona and her demon had worked hard to finish, allowing their Master to take complete control over the Great Killing Array.
“All of you stop!” Rhovan shouted. “I said stop it!”
All of his subordinates obeyed, but they didn’t understand why their Great Shaman was panicking while shouting in a crazed manner.
Although they all stopped powering the formation, it was already too late.
After they all stopped the activation of the formation, Thirteen simply used the power of the ley lines to continue supplying the Great Killing Array with enough power to do his bidding.
Rhovan, as well as the other Shamans, stared in horror as the formations in all the cities of the Blackfang Dominion came to life.
King Valtheron, who resided in Elandris City, the capital of the Blackfang Dominion, had a grim expression on his face as he stared at the sky above his city.
Countless golden swords materialized in the sky, with all of them pointing in his direction.
The Great Killing Array could potentially kill a Majin King.
A Majin Prince like him would not even survive if those swords were to take action and rain down upon him.
The same scene could be seen in every city—the Great Killing Array pointing at the most powerful individuals within each city.
Not only that, but the magical formation also prevented anyone from going in and out, trapping them in place.
“See?” Cranky smiled faintly. “I told you so.”
Kamrusepa giggled. “Thirteen never fails to amaze me.”
Misha and the blue-eyed lady looked at this scene in disbelief. This wasn’t a sight they expected when they accompanied Zion to raid the Blackfang Dominion.
The main reason why the Majin Queen was biding her time was because she feared that the same magical array she had seen through her clones’ eyes would kill her if she were to openly attempt to subjugate the Blackfang Dominion. The most update n0vels are published on novel{f}ire.net
But now that the powerful formation she feared was in the teenage boy’s hands, she could no longer look down on him.
“We lost,” the blue-eyed lady said softly, making Misha and her subordinate sigh in their hearts.
With Cranky and the Great Killing Array as his Trump Cards, no one in Antares was Thirteen’s match.
