Taking the Mafia to the Magic World

Chapter 1159: The Next Destination

Chapter 1159: The Next Destination

Vicente and his group returned to Theloria’s territory in Red Enclave after the post-return conversation.

With the new information related to Minos and the group’s expectations for the plans of such a Deity, they were in a hurry to resolve their affairs and for Vicente to depart for his most ambitious journey.

Entering Argardus!

Larissa’s words made sense to everyone in the group. Given Minos’ possible position in Argardus and their own plans upon leaving Hell, proceeding to enter Argardus was the only way forward.

Thus, they left the safe bridge that Vicente had set as the return area to the island and headed back into the territory of the demons of Theloria’s tribe in Red Enclave.

Theloria’s home was not far away, and in just half an hour, they were traveling through the forests controlled by local demons.

Vicente, Kong, Rex, and Larissa already knew the area well, and some of the most important observers, capable of recognizing them moving, were already prepared for their passage.

They would soon enter the area where Theloria was waiting for them, having no difficulty or unnecessary encounters.

Before they saw Theloria, her voice echoed through the surroundings of the mountain where she lived. “You took longer than expected… Fortunately, you’re stronger.”

Vicente had planned to be away for months. He and his group still did not know how much time had actually passed, but they knew it had taken much longer in Hell than planned. The situation with Mylecent and the Law of Darkness had consumed a lot of their time.

Vicente said, “I believe it was worth it. We made good progress, not just in terms of cultivation.”

She appeared outside her cave, standing face to face with her allies. Her gaze was interested, full of curiosity, despite all her experience. “Did you find the successor of the Celestial King?”

“More or less,” Vicente greeted the woman before introducing the new member of his group.

Theloria listened carefully about Lothur’s envoy. That Devil with Vicente was even more powerful in level than she was. But her interest was in the encounter with the successor of the Celestial King, and she soon inquired about Vicente’s words.

Vicente took a deep breath and explained succinctly. “I left a clone in Hell, and it had a quick encounter with that person. This revealed to us that our plans are aligned with his and that we are on the right path to achieve our objectives.”

He couldn’t know if it would be successful, but it was clear what Minos was planning, and what was possible to do was exactly what they had been doing since before embarking for Red Enclave.

But whether this would prove to be a victory for them, only time would tell.

Vicente continued, “Now our only way is to strengthen ourselves, undermine the enemy’s forces, and gather more information. It’s time to move forward toward that other island.”

Before their departure to Hell, Vicente’s group had agreed with Theloria for her to gather forces on the island for an eventual departure toward the island ’closest’ to Argardus in all of Anicane.

Such a place was not physically close to Argardus, but spiritually more similar to that dimension. Just as Red Enclave had a great connection with Hell due to its negative laws, the new destination of the group had a great connection with Argardus because of its positive laws.

Theloria liked what she heard, clenching her fists in anticipation. For almost 3 years, she had prepared allies and subordinates in Red Enclave for this moment!

The succubus thought it would take quite some time for them to depart to challenge Argardus, even after Vicente’s return. But she was the type of woman who liked to anticipate her moves.

With everything prepared to move, Theloria couldn’t help but feel millennia of expectations approaching their fulfillment.

But she remained firm in front of the newly arrived group, as imposing and calm as would be expected of someone of her stature. “Perfect. I’ve done my part, so we can depart quickly.”

Kong asked, “How is the strength of the group? Entering Crystopolis with Devils and Demons will be a challenge. The minimum error will put us in a situation where we are surrounded by enemies capable of challenging us.”

“And each of them will have powers that are nemeses of ours.” Theloria nodded, sharing the same concerns as her old friend. But she smiled as she answered Kong’s question. “Fortunately, I could gather some powerful allies. I got the leader of the vampires and half of the leaders of Red Enclave to accompany us. We will have a total of 30 Transcendents to travel and fight by our side.”

This was an impressive number by Anicane’s standards, enough for even Lothur’s envoy to feel that the group’s chances would be good.

Theloria took a deep breath and, looking at Vicente, said, “We can depart in 3 days. But these Transcendents want to see you and hear more about our plans before departure.

I wouldn’t say there’s a risk of them backing out. Most are determined to fight by our side. But showing a little strength will help more than hinder…” She concluded, looking suggestively at him.

Vicente smiled, understanding the message. “I see. Then let’s go ahead with this meeting. I want to depart as soon as possible.”

“Great. I can take you there now.” She showed the way with one of her hands. “But I’m curious to know about the information you got… I also feel that your powers have changed more than just your level.”

Even though he was not yet a Transcendent, Vicente was generating an aura capable of intimidating Theloria at a height totally different from what she had seen. Previously, he was impressive, but the cultivation difference between them was simply too great. Now, however, even though the level was still a problem, the quality of his aura had transcended to such a point that she couldn’t help but feel an instinctive fear of him.

“Hehe, you and the allies you made will understand these powers during our meeting.” Vicente said mysteriously. “As for the information, invading Argardus is the way. Possibly, that person will cover my path for me to gather information and undermine the strength of the enemies in Argardus!”
