Chapter 909 907-Eleanara Awakening.
Chapter 909 907-Eleanara Awakening.
Time passed by, with growth happening each moment for Eleanara, but that didn't last for long, as two hours later, I felt the change around me, my eyes opening up as they landed on Eleanara seated on the chair, a certain high-level pressure coming off her as she slowly started to open her eyes, the pressure doubling around with her awakening.
My eyes focused on her as she finally opened, the eyes now having a particular shine to them, representing the power and prestige that had come back to this Eleanara. Along with it, I found a certain softness in her aura that wasn't present before in her body, a certain softness that spoke of the innocence of the past locked away in her own mind.
I could sense the change all around Eleanara. It wasn't just the change of power; it was the change of mindset around her. With her letting go of certain shackles that she placed on herself, she has now pushed forth a lot of the power she has been holding back.
Eleanara, in general, was a very talented dwarf, both in the leagues of craft and handling mana, which translated towards the fact that she should be a lot stronger than she is right now. And thus, with her leaving back all the pressure she kept on herself, the power that should be naturally hers will soon start coming back to her, granting her the strength that should be hers.
'This is better than I thought.'
I enjoyed the thought as I waited for the situation to cool down, my eyes trailing down the full figure of Eleanara as she finally came out of her own daze. The moment she regained her own self-control, she directly took back the pressure that was weighing on me, her gaze now much calmer than before, but I wasn't buying it.
My side of chaos could feel the destructive urges Eleanara was holding back within herself, the desire to let loose coiling around her. In a sense, this calmness was much more dangerous and destructive than the anger she was showing on the outside, as right now, this was a more controlled anger.
One that will go forth to systematically touch and erase everything that stands in the way of her revenge. I am sure that a lot of bodies will be dropping in the wake of this new anger, and if my calculations are right, a lot of chaos and death will be unfolding within the confines of the war council.
'To think I will find a gem like this here, what luck....'
I inwardly snickered at that thought. There lay an even deeper reason for me to make these changes in these two women rather than just to satisfy my ego or desires. You see, for the plans I want, chaos is the best way for it to happen. Not just any chaos—powerful disruptions within the war council will go a long way in getting the stuff I need.
The only problem is that creating such a ruckus isn't easy. Even my plans need more refining to get to that point, but entering this place and meeting Eleanara was a stroke of luck because, with the info the system gave me, I have more than enough ways to use Eleanara to cause all the trouble I need.
For you see, the ones behind the family of Silva that caused this tragedy are something very powerful and controlled within the war council itself. They got to achieve a lot of things with just a simple move—they almost killed Eleanara's father, ripped off powerful secrets from the historic realm, and even destroyed the future of a very bright dwarf.
In all essence, there lay a power that had its hand in this, and as you can guess, the ones that laid their hands in this are indeed the opposite faction to which Eleanara belongs. The two powerful dwarf factions aren't as harmonious as they seem in public, and in this case, even Valdris might be pulled into this whole thing.
If this thing unfolds in a less-than-happy manner, which it will, then we can perhaps even see the fracture of the royal family of the dwarven legacy. Because from what the system told me, there are a lot of secrets in this shit, secrets that when Eleanara finds out, she will flip out and seek even more blood. The good thing about this, to me, is all the connections that are linked to it, which means there will be a lot of problems even if just one of the strings is pulled.
If it was anything normal, a normal person would let it all go and try to find another way. But this is the new and improved Eleanara, brimming with desire for revenge. She isn't going to let anything get in her way, and she will kill anyone who tries to stop her. Not to mention, with her now awakened like this, she will have the support of her family, which means more shit will be stirred up.
'All in all, once the small truths start to fall into place, the revenge will be a very epic one.'
I mean, the perpetrators behind this had hidden themselves very well, but how hard will it be for me to give Eleanara the 'truth' my way, such that everything is laid bare? Keep in mind that I am selling nothing false here—everything will be the truth of what happened. The only change would be that it will profit me each time Eleanara strikes.
'My intended spear.'
I licked my lips at that thought, knowing very well that this family itself may perhaps break away when things start to heat up because this won't be the normal lacklustre, accepting everything Eleanara. This will be the prideful one, who won't even bend to her husband, who will now have to start fearing her too.
'I guess this is me being a bit too petty.'
[You think? The dude barely even hurt you, and even if he did, it was for his daughter. And now you have gone up and lit his peaceful life into flames. Isn't it enough to just fuck his mother and his sister?]
'When you say it like that, I sound like a monster.'
[Look in the mirror.]
I winced a bit at those words, knowing how truthful they are. But hey, the part about Valdris and Lyssandra ain't my fault. I mean, if you want to blame someone, you should just go and blame the ancestor who was crazy enough to place this mark and the woman even more crazy enough to just accept something like this.
[You awakened a time bomb brimming with desire for just revenge. The consequences of it will be felt by the entire dwarven lineage.]
I didn't reject that, for every word the system spoke is the truth. The current Eleanara is a living, breathing weapon for revenge, and when she starts it, the chaos it will spread will be catastrophic. The death and innocent affected may even be high, and it was causing a pang in my head, for I have no interest in innocent suffering at my hands.
[Hypocrite.]
'Guilty as charged.'
I responded.
'But hey, what I'm doing is also saving the lives of the innocent.'
[I can't argue there too...]
Because the deeper truth here is that by doing this, the whole dwarven society, ranging even towards the war council, will be busy. This will be an unexpected wrench into the plans of several masterminds, which would delay a lot of plans for a lot of wars. Weapon creation will take a hit, pushing back the time to even start wars.
The war council will even have to put a pause on their duties to deal with all the shit Eleanara will be creating, not to mention what Silva will be planning in the dark when she finds out all the truth.
What I say now would seem like a very big boast. I mean, what could one or perhaps two washed-up dwarven women, further away from their peak, even do?
That is a very good question, but it's only effective when the women involved are normal. For you see, their moments while at that time looking stupid had indeed ruffled some feathers. Their moments, their actions, and the talents of Eleanara had made several people wary. She was indeed bringing about changes—good changes.
And good change meant that he was affecting the profit of some very powerful people. Because when the status of the poor changes for the better, the status of those who take advantage of them also suffers. Both Eleanara and Silavahd possessed some dangerous talents—enough to make even long-lived powerhouses wary.
So take it to heart when I say that when these two awakened women, having risen from their dreams, set out for their revenge, blood will spill, people will die, and the whole world will perhaps feel their wrath once it starts to spread.
"Haaaaaa..."
A large wave of breath left Eleanara's mouth, her mana trailing. Perhaps even the whole room trembled as I felt the presence of a woman who had been locked away—her presence alone enough to make any other person quake in their boots.
[You are crazy to let that loose.]
'For once, I can't deny that.'
