Chapter 911 890-Gaurdian.
The atmosphere took a soft turn now, and the whole situation was on the borderline of awkwardness, perhaps with a sense of purity to it.
I maintained my innocent expression, and seeing the silence fill the room, I turned to look at Eleanara as I coughed a bit and replied.
"Cough... what I mean is that the queen still holds the beauty of your prime, there is nothing to say that you look like an old woman."
My words were a bit messed up, and a certain inexperience filled the way I said these words, making me look like the grinning child of one who doesn't have any romantic experience.
[All that is left is to plaster the sign of virgin on your forehead]
'Fuck off!'
As I shouted so, my expression remained the outward innocent yet awkward young man, which to any woman in the age of Eleanara would look very, I mean very cute so that I could see the expression of Eleanara flash for a moment, but she held herself as a sly smile came to her face.
"I thought with your looks you would have quite the experience with women, but it seems I am wrong~"
A small tang to the edges of her words to which I gave her a wry smile.
"I spent a lot of time trying to make myself strong and protect the people I care about. Romance never got a position in my busy schedule."
[Bravo, I think even the king of hell is clapping at this level of bullshit lying]
'Once again, fuck off!'
The atmosphere now turned more gentle and, in a bit of a sense, calm and caring, as my words could only be registered as truthful in the eyes of Eleanara within this room. Thus, the shy smile and more only went forth towards raising a certain emotion in the heart of Eleanara. I know for a fact that it's been years since someone has even truthfully said with such innocent eyes to her that she is beautiful.
And those innocent words from my side have more effect than Eleanara would like to admit, but she isn't also some weak-willed little girl to fall for some words like this. Her mind quickly cleared up, seeing that the whole situation was going in another direction that was not something she wanted. Sure, my words made her feel a little tinge of excitement, but that is all it is in the end.
She remembered who she was, and she also remembered the fact of the age difference, and even more beyond the fact that nothing could happen. This little situation did spike her excitement for a long time, and I have, in all senses of the word, drilled into her heart and achieved a very, I mean a very high position. But it's not in the act of a romantic partner; it's more of the side of a very innocent child she must protect at any cost.
To her eyes, right now, I am the most innocent, truthful, and kind young man in the world, someone to whom she owes a lot. And with all this mixing together with my innocent aura, it created a certain type of tension that seemed to make me very important in her life.
What I know for a guarantee is the fact that she will think of me more as a very dedicated son she needs to protect at all costs, thus forming a more familial-like relationship between us. Of course, such a relationship hasn't been established yet, but I am sure it's what she would want going into the future.
And it is also what I have established with this friends-like connection from the past. She would want to see me soar, reach great heights, and become something greater. She will try to protect me from the horrors of the world so that I won't be broken like she was. She would want something where I can always come to her and ask for any help. She would always want to keep me safe too.
[You established yourself as the core centre for her rebirth, placing your importance as a high core functionality in her soul and any mentality she will wield.]
'That's right.'
For once, replying correctly back to the system, I focused on Eleanara, whose eyes turned very, and I mean very gentle as she spoke.
"Now, I can see how you could have won the heart of that gentle yet fierce daughter of mine."
I smiled back in response to the words as I replied.
"I can hardly say that is true. I think Nathalia as a person is very amazing. She deserves all the happiness she can get, just like you."
My words were firm, and my intention of mine was fully pure and truthful, which only made Eleanara smile wider as she spoke.
"If you say something like that, then it means I also want you to be happy too. So what do you think about me being your guardian?"
"My guardian?"
I asked back in a fully shocked voice while pretending that this wasn't my intention at all.
[And the best acting award goes to.....]
'Shut up.'
Shutting down the system, I tried to regain my expression as I replied.
"You want to be my guardian? But won't that cause you any trouble?"
Seeing that I was only surprised and wasn't pushing forth such an opportunity, a warm smile came to the face of Eleanara as she leaned back into the chair and responded.
"I might have locked myself in the room and watched the world pass by, but I never forget to place my stakes in this world. Thus, when I get back to my authority, I will have the power to even keep certain factions of the war council in check. Would you like that?"
My eyes started to waver at those words, a very moved emotion covering over my face as I responded.
"That would be very helpful to me. Thank you."
I replied, my voice filled with gratitude and unsaid words which Eleanara picked up on, that wide smile once again turning gentle as she stood up from her seat. She, with calm steps, soon walked towards me. Her stature, though small like a dwarf, now held a certain presence that filled up the entire room.
With small steps, she came forth to gently hug my head, giving my head a light pat as she spoke.
"There... there... you don't always have to bear the full pressure, you know. And if I am to release a statement as your guardian, then you should always treat me as family."
[Third Mommy got!

'Just shut down!'
I retorted as my expression seemingly twisted, as Eleanara held me, a certain sense of peace coming over me as I, with a small smile, replied.
"It will be hard for me to start doing all this, but I will try. I have come to know a lot about you from the past, and right now, it would only be my honour if you become my guardian."
My words seemed to hold the greatest of sincerity as Eleanara's smile only got wider as she, taking her hand off my head, looked at me with her unwavering eyes as she replied.
"Then you can stop calling me queen or anything else, just Aunty Eleanara will suffice."
[Oh! Aunty Sugar Mommy achieved!]
'.....'
'Is that even a real thing?'
[You can always invent new stuff.]
Stopping my head from throbbing, I looked at Eleanara with a smile as I nodded my head and replied.
"I shall do that. But if you are to make me your family, then it means any problems you have in the future, you can come to me. I might not look like much with my age, but I still have some threads I can pull to help."
My words had their intended heart-warming effect as Eleanara ruffled my head harder as she replied.
"Now, aren't you quite the treasure? I am now becoming jealous of your mother who has you as her child."
I just smiled back at her words.
[Oh, you have no idea how jealous you can be.]
"Yes, my mother is indeed lucky."
I replied back with a light smug tone which soon made the woman laugh, her expression turning more focused and determined as she sat beside me, soon going to hold my hand in a very gentle manner as she spoke.
"Then go on, if you are to become someone I will protect, I need to know more about this newly adopted child of mine."
I chuckled at her words, my hand lightly resting on her back. To any other observer, this whole situation would look troubling—perhaps even impossible. After all, it's only been two days since we met. Yet, within that short time frame, this cold-hearted, gloomy queen has chosen to take me as her guardian... to see me as her child?
Anyone would think there's foul play here, some kind of deal struck in the shadows. But no—there's nothing of the sort. This is the result of the sudden mental shift I brought upon her, one that consolidated many of her lingering thoughts. It made me into something important in her life—a lost piece of treasure she now feels the need to protect.
Maintaining a smile, I asked,
"Where should I start from?"
"How about the beginning?"
Eleanora replied, to which I, with a smile, began to tell my story—a tale so legendary, it could be recorded in the annals of history.
