The dragon's harem

Chapter 1494 1494: The Dragon Queens

Alcott didn’t walk into the VIP room, but instead, he chose to sit in front of it, between Tiamat and the Arena, right in her line of vision. He didn’t want to be in her close range because that was deadly, but didn’t want to be so far away that he couldn’t react to anything; a deadly balance had to be achieved.

Tiamat is the combination of all the Chromatic dragons at their peak, all stacked into one, titanic, muscular body. She was what you get when versions of Gamond in every color were combined into one.

So, to Alcott, he had to change his approach quite a bit. Right now, he was facing a dozen dragons at once, all of them had long surpassed their twilight and reached their peak, and were all using one body.

“Say, I wanted to ask you.” Alcott looked back at her through the glass, “You’re the mother of the void dragons, the metallic queen is the mother of time dragons, and the chromatic queen is the mother of light dragons… so, who is the mother of magic dragons?”

“Who do you think?” Tiamat looked at him with a passive face, “Yog is their mother. But not in the way you think.” She smiled, “There are technically four major types of dragons, not three.”

“Mortals know that there are Chromatic dragons, Metallic dragons, and Magic dragons, but in reality, there are four types.” She looked at Alcott.

“Colored dragons are what you call Chromatic. Red dragons, blue dragons, you give them names based on their color. Those are my children that I didn’t give birth to. As their goddess, my blood has the genetic code for all of them at once, so as long as I live, they shall never go extinct.”

She leaned forward, “Lola, the one you call the Chromatic queen isn’t a Chromatic dragon, she is a Prismatic dragon, a type of dragon similar to us Chromatic, but instead of following colors, they follow light colors. That’s why she gave birth to light dragons.”

“Mary, the Metallic Queen, is a metallic dragon as far as mortals care. But it is better to call them Elemental dragons; they follow the basic elements of iron, gold, copper, and so on -even a bit of mixing when they breed, such as steel being born to iron and coal.” She smiled, “Then there is Yog.”

“Yog isn’t a dragon; she is something, alien to all beings in this universe, and she made the magic dragons in her lab, using her and the overgod genetics. So calling them her children isn’t wrong.”

Alcott looked at his fist as he started wrapping his wrist in bandages, “Giving me plenty of info while also entertaining my obvious attempt to buy time and prepare to kill you. Aren’t you a bit overconfident?”

Tiamat giggled, “We aren’t overconfident.” Another Tiamat walked out from the shadows and sat beside the first one; there were two of her. Alcott already knew about that, but didn’t expect both of them to show up at the same place.

“We know that we won’t be fighting here. Watch, Arad, and Azorn are going to start. Poor Sena, she has over a thousand brothers and sisters spread across the whole universe, but few of them care to stay around.”

The first Tiamat stood and looked at the balcony. Arad and Azorn were standing in the middle of the Arena, a few tens of meters apart.

She walked and looked at them. “Our magic protects this Arena. Feel free to go all out.”

Arad looked around and felt that the Arena was endless; he could see the walls, but his magic couldn’t reach them, as if they were a mere mirage at the end of the horizon.

“This is Mother’s Elemental Expansion, Purgatory. It is a pocket dimension of hell. Your grave, deceiver.” Azorn took a stance, a fist extended forward, ready to attack in the blink of an eye.

Arad could tell that while Azorn might not look the strongest, he was one of the strongest fighters he had ever seen in his life. So, he had to take this fight seriously.

The air around Arad rumbled, and his back illuminated with a faint white light; sparks of lightning surged from each bone and soon reached his head and eyes. His heart started beating rapidly until it sounded like a revving engine, and quickly, a burst of fire escaped from his lips.

Something dangerous was boiling inside him, and it was about to come out. But suddenly, all of that fire faded away, and Arad took a deep breath and lowered himself into a stance.

The first one to move was Azorn; he wasn’t here to test Arad, but to kill him. Sena was his little sister, and she didn’t need someone like Arad in her life. Wherever Arad goes, troubles follow him, and Sena has spent her whole life chasing a calm life in the mortal world.

Arad must’ve deceived her.

Unlike Azorn, she was peaceful, not the kind to throw herself into danger. Azorn wouldn’t have had a problem if Sena had married a weak human or an elf to live in peace as she had for the past centuries, but now, a dragon like Arad laid his claws on her, destroying her peaceful life. He didn’t meet her conditions, and neither fit her peaceful life.

Sena had many siblings, both from her mother’s side and her father’s side, but very few of them cared about each other. All of them were extremely powerful and only met once in decades; Sena herself hadn’t seen some of them in thousands of years.

The only two who were extremely active were Gray and Azorn, the smart, calculating older brother, and the brutish, hot-blooded younger one.

Arad didn’t know any of that, and so to him, Azorn was just a brother to Sena, who came here to kill him. He won’t take his threat seriously, but still considers that Azorn would try his best to bury him here.

While Azorn is trying to kill Arad and get rid of him, Arad can’t do the same; he has to keep Sena’s brother alive.

As expected, Azorn lunged first, unleashing a devastating punch that tore the ground apart before it could even hit Arad.

The priority now wasn’t to win or lose. It wasn’t even to fight; it was to get Sena on board. Beating Azorn won’t solve the problem; only Sena herself could explain the situation and maybe find a solution.

Arad understood well that to Azorn, he was a stranger, and so his words meant nothing. Luckily, contacting Sena won’t be that Hard. Betty was already working on that.
