“This should be the last time you use this skill, Vida,” Hanna said, putting away her bow since she never got to shoot even a single arrow.
“True, it is just cheating. You get to have all the fun by simply unleashing a punch, while we have to do it one by one.” Kathy joined her sister in complaining about the unfair advantage Vida has over them.
The barbarian giantess smiled and said, making sure a grin appeared on the corner of her mouth, “I believe this is the part where Nadia will say, ’It is not my fault you ladies are weak.’”
Klaus chuckled, but he couldn’t help feeling frustrated.
Just now, he wanted to test Vida’s skill upgrade, so he told her to use it on a group of 20 Wraiths only.
Of course, all Wraiths are Domain Stage, so there was bound to be some resistance.
However, Klaus was shocked when one punch not only killed the 20 Wraiths but also caused rather severe damage to the terrain.
Vida’s one punch is now enough to kill thousands if she strikes at the perfect time.
It covered 100 meters wide as it created devastation in its wake.
“Your sisters are right. Unless we face harrowing dangers that require a barbarian’s touch, you are never using the ’Void Fist’ again.” Klaus made sure the air was cleared, considering Vida’s fist alone is a mountain on its own.
Vida pouted, making her look even cuter.
Klaus just shrugged, knowing that if he focused more on her, he would revoke his own statement and allow her to keep using it.
Hanna and Kathy became happy hearing Vida can’t use the ’Void Fist’ ever again unless, of course, she had no other choice.
“That goes to you, too, Kathy. You are not allowed to use the Void Rune until that is the only thing we have left.” Kathy, who always grew exhausted whenever she used the Void Rune, nodded with a smile.
Klaus nodded back.
’This is for the best. Who knows who is watching us from the void?’ The paragon’s thoughts run wild.
The fact that Klaus can’t see too far into the void is making him hesitant to reveal too much. He believes someone is watching them, and this is all due to the Void Crystal he received.
The heavens sure would not give him something that would potentially reveal some truth to him, nor would they want to aid him in any way.
And since the crystal didn’t come from Icon (Paragon System), it could mean it came from someone inside the void — someone very powerful.
So he is being cautious.
“Hanna, take us deeper.”
Soon, Klaus and his wives headed deeper into the void. They started meeting Wraiths again, and this time, Klaus took charge, killing them.
Reaching the Adept Stage is the next best move, so he must ensure the next couple of kills are made by him.
After about 30 minutes, he had absorbed enough void fragments and reached the Adept Stage.

“Well, that took a dark turn rather quickly,” Klaus said with a grin as he read the description of the newly upgraded passive skill he had awakened when he comprehended the Void Law.
“Did something good happen?” Hanna asked, curious as to why Klaus seemed rather cheerful.
Klaus looked at the curious eyes of the three ladies standing before him and smiled, “Oh, something good did happen.” He let the pride sink in before adding…
“You see, I am now a god in here.”
The ladies looked at him with wide eyes, wondering if he had finally lost it.
I mean, someone claiming they are the god inside the void is not a statement Klaus should make. After all, he is merely a warrior with an Adept Stage understanding of the void.
Even those with Transcendent affinity wouldn’t make such a statement. So they were puzzled.
However, what they didn’t know was that Klaus indeed had the right to claim he was a god inside the void; after all, he was nearly invisible there.
First, it was only his Health, Stamina, Agility, and Strength that were boosted by 20,000% when inside the void.
However, now, not only have Defense and Magic been added, but the boost is now 50,000%. This means Klaus is now 50,000% harder to kill and 50,000% better at manipulating the void energy around him.
In a way, with this boost, Klaus just needed to imagine the way he wanted to shape the void, and he could easily do it.
What is even better, he now has a new passive ability called Void Mind.
This means that if he expands his brain, not only would he be free from harm, but his mind can now be harnessed to some of its capabilities.
One of them is shaping the void energy to attack.
With 450 minds, Klaus can do a lot. So with all this combined, Klaus indeed has the authority to make such a statement.
“Demonstrate your skill and let’s see,” Vida requested, and Klaus nodded.
He tapped into the Magic attribute that only works when he is inside the void. The moment he tapped into it, he began to feel the void’s movement.
’Damn, this is sweet. With just this movement, I can easily move through the void without the enemy being able to track me, unless, of course, they too can track the movement of the void.’
Klaus focused on the void’s movement and slowly formed a spear from it. If one were to observe him the way his wives did, they would say he was struggling; however, that was far from the truth.
Klaus slowly allowed the process of forming the spear to register in his mind. Then, when he fully grasped it, he snapped his finger, and 200 spears made from void energy appeared in the air.
“Not enough.” He snapped his finger again, and the number of spears increased to 500.
The three ladies standing beside him widened their eyes, feeling a terrifying force emanating from the 500 spears in the air.
It was as if just looking at them meant certain death.
“I thought you said your ability is a passive one,” Hanna asked, and Klaus nodded. He snapped his finger again, and the spears dissolved back into void energy.
“It is indeed a passive skill; however, I now have the means to manipulate the void energy. In other words, my passive skill is now allowing me to create my own active skills.”
“That is just cheating.”
