The Martial Unity

Chapter 3621: Gathering Power

Chapter 3621: Gathering Power

While Rui searched for the Divine Doctor in outer space, the war continued to escalate in Gaia, with each passing hour intensifying the conflict. The invasion of the giants proved to be a major escalation in the conflict as four superpowers now partook in the conflict that NOVA had triggered.

The dark elves immediately announced a cessation of any and all trade with the parties of Greater Tekvoria and that of the giants. They also announced a thorough campaign of logistical, strategic, and tactical support, along with intelligence aid to the Panamic Alliance and to the Pasupati Clans of Kiriket.

The Panamic Alliance immediately deployed a large number of military and Martial power to halt the incoming giants who sought to approach the Panama Continent.

What was perhaps most unfortunate was the fact that Samarkha was directly to the east of Panama, meaning that the invading army of giants moved towards East Panama, and the most prominent target in East Panama.

Thus, the Kandrian Empire became the target of not just Greater Tekvoria, but also an army of giants that slowly swam all the way to the Kandrians, eager to set foot on land and immediately begin unleashing destruction across the entirety of the nation.

Grand General Edward of the Panamic Alliance immediately mobilized all Martial Artists across the entire continent. All member states of the Panamic Alliance, by virtue of the military mandate that the Panamic Alliance had over their Martial power, were obliged to deploy their forces as mandated by the Panamic Alliance.

“Board the high-speed Martial transit system immediately!”

“Emergency protocols do not require signatory logging, just board the transit system!”

“All Martial Artists, from Apprentice to Senior, must immediately be deployed!”

Across the Panama Continent, countless Martial Artists sat inside claustrophobically small seats with very little area for movement inside densely packed wooden bogeys within a pipe-like structure that extended far, far beyond what the eyes of even Martial Artists.

“Goddamn! Couldn’t they have focused on making this more comfortable?!” one Martial Apprentice complained as he tried fitting within the tiny seat, strapping himself with a belt system that resembled what harnessed astronauts for rocket launches.

“It feels like I’m in a goddamn coffin! Are they sending me to my death?!”

“Man, if not for the fact that our entire continent and civilization is at stake, I would never agree to being shipped across the continent in these things. Thankfully, it’s only forty-five minutes. If it were more than an hour, I would lose my mind!”

It had been a year since the economic corridor initiative had been proposed by the Emperor of Harmony in a Human Summit after the Unfolding, and the most crucial and important part of the project had already been concluded.

The Trans-Continent Martial Transit System had been completed just a few weeks prior to the battle between the Dragon Emperor and Rui. Elven biotechnology had enabled the Emperor of Harmony to drastically accelerate the building process due to the fact that biotechnology was simply vastly better at large-scale development projects.

After all, shortly after the Unfolding, the dark elves had managed to build a giant bridge connecting Genora and Panama in less than an hour, which could transport people back and forth between the continents in a very short period of time. It was how the dark elves had first arrived on the Panama Continent.

Emperor Rael had gotten his hands on the technology after a trade deal with the dark elves in exchange for the manifold tree data and information. And had used the manifold to have the best biotechnologists and the Ecologer and Julian Quarrier to adapt the technology to the Panama Continent in less than a year, a process that took ten years inside the manifold.

Once adapted, it was just a matter of planting specially designed trees in all corners of the continent that grew and expanded in a specific manner encoded in their DNA.

They formed a botanical tree-train system that could transport hundreds of millions of people across the entire continent within hours at most. Naturally, the trade-off for getting this system implemented this quickly was that it wasn’t the most comfortable transit system in the world, which made Martial Artists of the Lower Realms despise it, even if they acknowledged how game-changing it was.

Of course, only Martial Artists of the Lower Realms had to use the Martial Transit System, while Martial Masters and Sages got to use the World Bridge systems across the entire continent, allowing them to reach their destination in just a single step.

STEP

In a special chamber in the Kandrian Empire, countless Martial Sages slowly emerged from within the wormhole.

Blood Lord Vrukshus and the Martial Sages and Masters of the Blood Cult had come draped in their blood-red Martial attire, wearing ominously grim expressions. They stood in sharp contrast to the Bodhisattvas and Masters of the Gen Temple, whose expressions and dispositions were as calm and sagely as ever.

The Martial Sages of the Britannian Empire, the Republic of Gorteau, and the Sekigahara Mandate followed through immediately after as the other three Sage-level powerhouses of East Panama emerged.

Soon after, hundreds of Martial Sages of the true world emerged while tens of thousands of Martial Masters also followed suit, forming a small town’s worth of Martial Artists within the vast underground chamber.

Very rarely did such tremendous power gather in one place.

RUMBLE…

The world quivered with fear as the powerful Martial Artists of the Upper Realms contained their power. With their collective power, they could easily explode all of Kandria and more into atoms if they truly wanted to. They needed to hone their power and save it for the right moment.

“Welcome, warriors of human civilization.”

Emperor Rael’s voice was one of power and gratitude.

STEP

STEP

STEP

His great presence commanded the attention of all the powerful Martial Sages gathered in the underground chamber. His attire was much more humble than the ceremonial royal attire he would don for important public or diplomatic events.

He simply wore the relatively humble, even if luxurious, custom-tailored royal work attire, composed of a simple formal suit.

Before the Martial Sages and Masters, paltry extravagance looked cheap.

“Allow me to express my gratitude to all of you for coming to defend the Kandrian Empire from those who seek to destroy it.” His powerful voice boomed across the large underground chamber, echoing loudly. “However, do not be mistaken…”

His golden eyes sharpened.

“This is not a war against the Kandrian Empire, but a war against our very civilization.”
