The Strongest War God

Chapter 1991 Think About It

Chapter 1991: Think About It Chapter 1991: Think About It Editor: EndlessFantasy Translation She faced the heavens and endured the second strike of transcendent lightning.

She was wounded.

The transcendence tribulation lightning showed no mercy.

The third bolt of transcendent lightning crashed down.

The lightning stretched over ten thousand feet, carrying enough power to destroy everything in its path.

This lightning tribulation was even more fearsome than that of a second-level transcendent expert who relied on external paths.

One who ascended through external forces was nowhere near the scale of the dragon lady’s lightning tribulation.

The gap between the two was immeasurable.

Braydon Neal watched in silence, his hands clasped behind him.

The dragon lady faced five bolts of transcendent lightning directly.

Yet, the lightning tribulation wasn’t over.

She was already at her limit.

He was gravely injured.

“Shedding your dragon body and transforming into a human could help you pass this tribulation,” Braydon suggested.

“You think I’d become human?

Keep dreaming!” The dragon lady had her pride.

Born into the saint race as a five-clawed golden dragon, her noble bloodline looked down on humans as an inferior race; even the demon race was like ants to her.

Why would she ever willingly become human?

Braydon remained calm, merely offering a suggestion.

It was up to the dragon lady to heed it or not.

In the next instant… The sixth transcendent lightning appeared.

A lightning warblade.

It was just ten feet long.

Indiana Ibbot and the others were terrified.

A single strike would spell their deaths.

The dragon lady couldn’t hold on much longer!

“Looks like your mount’s going to bite the dust,” Jaxen Neal said playfully.

“Not necessarily.” A glimmer of light appeared between Braydon’s brows, transforming into a flowing shadow that entered the dragon lady’s mind.

The dragon lady’s body was struck down by the sword-like lightning.

The wall began to reassemble.

The transcendence tribulation gradually dissipated.

However, a trace of life flickered within the dragon lady’s body.

Then, a powerful light enveloped her, forming a cocoon around her.

“Undying Snake Technique?” Jaxen asked in surprise.

“Undying Nirvana is a fitting path for a dragon like her.

If she succeeds, she’ll reach the level-two realm.” Braydon raised his hand, taking the golden cocoon into his own small world.

Braydon clearly intended to make this dragon his mount.

Jaxen wasn’t worried for Braydon, as he had a seven-leaf grass, a true level seven creature.

What concerned Jaxen was the possibility that the dragon lady would choose death over transforming into a human, even within the transcendent lightning.  How would Braydon compel her to submit?

But that was Braydon’s affair.

Outsiders could only watch.

“Ancestor Neal!” Indiana stepped forward respectfully, bowing.

“Back then, I destroyed the Ancient Immortal Realm, turning it into an Immortal Burial Ground.

I owe your local immortal race a debt.

In this life, I’ll help your immortal race once more, illuminating the great path of transcendence.” Braydon’s words offered the immortals a renewed path.

Indiana was thrilled.

“The immortals will surely honor the human race in the future!” “In the face of time, all promises become mere illusions.” If promises held true… Why would wars break out among races?

Promises were only as solid as the strength, power, and status behind them.

Without these, any pledge would eventually crumble.

Braydon understood this well.

Braydon closed his eyes, sensing the convergence of ten thousand Dharma Idols formed by ten thousand banished immortals on the Path to Heaven, nearly complete.

When the 80,000 Dharma Idols fused, Braydon would rise from immortal supreme to immortal monarch.

Once the 100,000 Dharma Idols were realized… Braydon would depart this place to explore the universe.

That was the true battlefield.

The Nine Illusion Sea, for example, was merely a training ground.

Leaving this universe marked the beginning of true cultivation.

In a flash, Braydon departed from the Immortal Burial Ground.

This place no longer required his attention.

Jaxen stayed behind to guard.

Just as Braydon prepared to leave, a powerful voice echoed in his mind.

“Brother Neal, how have you been?” It was the voice of the Path Lord.

This man was a cultivator that cultivated seven paths On the path of a ninth-level transcendent, pushing oneself to the limits led to the tenth level.

And now, he had returned to seek out Braydon.

Clearly, he had an agenda.

Braydon halted, returning to the Immortal Burial Ground.

“So, you’re aware of Gadin Jennings?” “I just learned about it today.” The Path Lord appeared.

Did he really only find out today?

Likely not.

The immortal ruins had been open for 10,000 years, and news that even human disciples could enter had spread throughout the cosmos.

The Path Lord was aware of this as well.

He could enter this universe, but he had to consider Braydon’s status.

To barge in would provoke Braydon’s wrath.

If that happened, Heather Sage would fight the Path Lord.

Braydon would undoubtedly defend his wife.

Thus, the Path Lord had long awaited Braydon’s return from seclusion.

“What do you want?” Braydon asked calmly.

“The legacy of Gadin Jennings, founder of the eight great cosmoses.

I’m not alone in this desire.

If the word gets out beyond our cosmos, countless ninth-level transcendent experts will storm in like a flood.

“If that happens, even long-absent tenth-level transcendents will re-emerge.” The Path Lord hadn’t stated his purpose, sounding both like a threat and a subtle hint.

Gadin Jennings’ inheritance.

He wanted it too.

Braydon’s gaze turned cold.

“I don’t respond to threats.

Think carefully.” “I’m not threatening you.

You’re welcome to cultivate Gadin Jennings’ inheritance.

I’d like to study it, too.” The Path Lord’s gaze remained steady.

Who could resist the allure of Gadin Jennings’ inheritance?

In the face of a level ten inheritance, one’s pride was easily cast aside.

He wanted Gadin Jennings’ inheritance as well.

“Gadin isn’t dead, so the inheritance hasn’t been granted to me,” Braydon said calmly.

“What?” The Path Lord’s face shifted.

That terrifying being wasn’t dead after all.

Braydon continued, “Such a being couldn’t die if he tried.

Severely injured, he hid in the Heavenly Court ruins for ages.

He only emerged recently, likely outside the cosmos now.

If you want the inheritance, find him yourself!” With that, Braydon turned and left, dismissing the matter.

The Path Lord’s threats had already crossed a line with Braydon.

He wouldn’t let it go.

After he left, the Path Lord’s eyes gleamed.  In the end, he sighed, not daring to force an attack.

Instead, he withdrew.

Engaging Braydon would incur far too much karma.

Braydon was backed by countless figures of importance.

And his ancient soul was formidable.

As was Empress Colette Kepner in the Nine Illusion Sea.

They weren’t adversaries he could easily oppose.

Braydon walked in the vast starry sky, hands behind his back.

Countless stars drifted silently.

On a planet inhabited by life, Human cultivators flew over, drawn to it.

In a flash, Braydon appeared.

On this planet resided the Northern Army.

Ten thousand at their peak.

They oversaw this stellar realm and the thousands of galaxies beneath it.

This territory once belonged to the demon race.
