Chapter 1130 A fight between leaders
There was clearly a lingering conversation going on between two of the strongest in the Demonic Faction. Everyone was quite curious as to what was happening, but as they saw the two casually talking back and forth, and guessing the facial expressions that Lince was making.
The whole thing felt peaceful, as if the two were getting along, maybe they were imagining it, it was almost friendly.
“What are you suggesting,” Rayna immediately piped up. “To fight each other, on a day like this. This is a respectful event.”

“And I’m talking about a respectful bout,” Lince replied. “I’m not talking about a serious fight, just enough that it would show them that you can match up to me…and by the way, I’m pretty confident if the real thing was to come push and shove I would lose anyway. Think about how embarrassing it is for me to even propose this, all for the sake of propping you up.”
Although Raze thought Lince’s suggestion was sincere, he was imagining how the two of them even could fight in this situation. The land around them was large and wide, but when he thought about the fight he had with Belil, the entire area including all of the buildings would be destroyed.
And that was before he had inherited his power from Belil himself.
“I don’t see how this proposal would work, if the two of us were to fight,” Raze said. “There are just too many that would get in our way-“
In the middle of speaking, Raze lifted his hand, and black magic swirled around, forming his trusted Ghost blade. Immediately, a loud clang was heard, and with it, Qi had rung out in the entire area.
The ground beneath Raze’s foot had broken, creating a small crater.
“What’s going on, that noise!”
“Look, look….Lince just attacked the Dark Magus out of nowhere. I guess they really weren’t friendly after all.”
There was a disgruntled look on Raze’s face as he poured out his Qi to match with Lince’s, but there was no time to ask questions, as Lince continued to attack. He moved, disappearing right from in front of Raze and then appeared by his side.
The dagger was thrusted forward, and again it was blocked with the side of Raze’s weapon. Lince quickly continued to attack with his dagger, using fancy footwork as he moved around. Each step he made left an imprint on the ground.
Dashing in, dashing out, he continued to attack.
“This is the first time I’ve seen the leader of the Lost Clan fight!”
“Right, I’ve only heard of the actions of him and his clan, but never the clan head fighting himself. He’s so fast, I can only see him for a moment when he clashes with the Dark Magus.”
“Don’t you see, though, the one that we should also be impressed by is the Dark Magus. Despite how fast Lince is moving, the heavy Qi that we can feel from each strike, the Dark Magus is blocking them all.”
Lince had to admit that even he was surprised. He knew that Raze’s Qi was impressive, more than his now. His powers stronger due to everything that happened, but was there now this much of a gap between the two of them.
To the point where he could stay in the same place not moving, and continue to block attack after attack.
“You know, because of my last calling with you, I lost my daggers, I had to get a pair of new ones, but I hear that you also create weapons!” Lince threw one of his weapons in the air, and with it, his wrappings started to unwind.
They chased after the dagger and wrapped around the handle. Lince then jumped back and swung the dagger by the edge of the bandage. It had greater momentum, and he was a far distance away from Raze now.
The attack hit from above and was blocked the same as before, but there was a slight twitch in his eye, a change in his reaction.
Lince dived in, and the bandage unraveled from his other hand, and with the two weapons, he started to swing them in the air, creating large momentum all going after Raze. The attacks were coming at an incredible speed, and for the first time, Raze couldn’t just block with his sword.
He now was also moving out of the way, avoiding the strikes as they narrowly missed his face, and he saw them cutting through the air.
“I can’t pull any punches, otherwise it will mean nothing,” Lince claimed. “Oh and, as a thank you, I hope you can make me something special as well. I’m helping you, aren’t I, showing how I fight, what I can do, and with it, you should be able to create something special!”
Lince swung both of his daggers high up in the air and then swung them down towards Raze. The Qi could be seen dragging through the space, almost appearing as if it distorted it, as if they were two large tooth marks that had ripped the space.
Lifting his hand up, a dark ring expanded to his hand, and then he closed his fist, and the dark energy pulsated out, breaking into a large ring above him. When it hit the daggers, it cleared it out of the way.
“Haha, so you could have stopped that all along with a simple use like that, huh?” Lince asked. “It seems you aren’t shy about using your magic anymore at least.”
Raze then firmly gripped the sword in his hand. “I guess to earn their respect, I have to do something myself.”
Raze lifted the sword above his head, getting ready to strike.
“STOP!” A voice shouted from the side, and two people had landed right in between where the two were fighting. “What do you two think you’re doing!” Fing shouted.
