My eyes flickered. It was about time. So, I was not surprised.

Otto didn’t stop there; he continued to say, “But they don’t know the identity of the attacker. Everyone thinks that the border nation has sent someone to attack.”

“So the people are tense here,” he added.

I recalled there was a Super Large Nation next to them. I don’t know whether they could use the current turmoil here.

I glanced at Otto. His eyes flickered. He is hiding something.

“Otto, what else?” I asked him.

Otto’s heart skipped a beat. To be honest, he hears a lot of information before telling the Master. He had filtered out most of the information.

Among the filtered-out information, there was useful information as well.

He said, “Master, I have found spies from the Super Large Nation, Ashen Wind.”

“They were fueling the rumors in their favor here,” he added.

“It appears this place isn’t going to be safe either,” I muttered.

“What about the wandering old men?”

“Convince them to leave early. I found no Magic Lords in the city. They must have gone somewhere. The current situation is not looking good.”

“They could put the city on a whole lockdown. So go and convince the old men,” I said to them.

Hank said, “Master, I will take up this matter. I’m sure they will understand.”

Then I looked at Otto and Patrick.

“You guys continue to monitor the city. If there is the presence of a Magic Lord, then inform me.” After saying that, I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion.

The three of them exchanged glances and left the hotel room.

At the same time, I noticed the vine monster was still resting. So I took the Zero Puppet and entered the control room.

Then I arrived in front of the control mirror. Seeing that there was no one inside the hotel room, I nodded my head.

Then I put the mana stones in the core of the Zero Puppet and activated it. It came alive in a few seconds.

“Master,” the Zero Puppet greeted me.

“Zero, I have got a few treasures. Help me go through it.” After saying that, I poured the treasure out from the system space.

These were things I got from the Sand Fall Ruins before fleeing. There were ten treasure items in total.

The Zero Puppet’s blue lights in the eye sockets flickered. It started separating the magic items.

At the same time, I was using the system to inspect each of the items. If the magic items were to be polluted with evil mana, then it would be dangerous for me.

If I use it, then it could corrupt my mana. Now, I was at a critical time for my breakthrough. So I won’t take risks.

The magic items were good items, but they were not useful to me.

I wanted something which could help me deal with the Magic Lords. My enemies are getting stronger. If I get an item to deal with the Forbidden Wizards, it would be even better.

Hearing that system voice, I was stunned. Then I turned my attention to the black ominous bell. The reason I activated the Zero Puppet was because of this bell.

I had thought the bell was covered in corrupted mana. I once again used the system. The system results said that it was safe to touch.

Then I took the palm-sized bell and began to inspect it. The Zero Puppet had gone through the other items.

If this bell were to fall into the hands of mind magic-related wizards, they would become powerful. I couldn’t help but think of Wilfred Cox.

But their last meeting ended on a bitter note. I’m not going to give it to him. These are my trump cards.
