A rebellion brewing?
Jack already couldn’t wait!
Seeing as they were about to rebel from the harsh training, not only did he not slow down, but he even doubled down on it, increasing the pace and the insults by a LOT!
“Is this it? An egg runs faster than you guys!”
“Are you guys even trying? Your shamans would cry!”
“Show some backbone, don’t just settle for mediocrity!”
It was akin to adding a nuclear bomb to a fire, the entire atmosphere turning more and more tense. But even then Jack left it to play out until…. IT EXPLODED!
The Newborns all stopped training as they exploded with emotions! Anger, pride, greed, their raw emotions turned exploded rampantly as they themselves turned defiant.
And that’s when all Hell broke loose….
A. Some raised their middle claw at him as they ran for the statues
B. Some fled the scene, heading back to the cave entrance
C. Some rushed at him, encircling him out of nowhere!
They actually dared to face him?! YES!
“Suicide? No, YOU!”
“All together now, KILL!”
“You fake Newborn, DIE!”
The enemies all struck at once!
They attacked so fast, not leaving the ’crazy lizard’ any chance to react! In fact, their claws quickly reached Jack, only for him to scream in terror and— CRASH!
Out of nowhere, the ground next to the BBQ suddenly opened up, revealing holes that had seemingly been dug with magic?! And as they all fell, Jack couldn’t help but smirk.
“Weren’t you watching? I kept playing with it too…”
Kept playing with it? So he hadn’t just been warming the BBQ all this time, but actually setting a trap for them?! Their lives now flashed before their eyes as he addressed them.
“Be good lizards, and don’t move, alright? I’ll be right back!” Without even finishing them off, Jack instantly rushed toward another group, this time the statue one!
Those guys were fed up with his training idea. Why do all this bothersome stuff? They’d just monopolize the easy-to-reach statues, and use them to EVOLVE!
It seemed they had figured out how to use them too. As long as they touched it and focused, they’d be teleported to an alternate space to train.
For a player, it would have looked like this…

And as soon as the lizards understood this, many turned from defiant to downright aggravating, as if the worst trolls had suddenly been given power
“You can’t stop me from evolving! You’re too late, bastard!”
“Fake newborn, go suck on your Shaman’s tits!”
“Once we all evolve we’ll murder you!”
Many teleported away in glowing green lights while leaving the worst insults they could think of, which were frankly laking given they were Newborns.
Still, that didn’t change their smug looks and the killing intent they released, not even veiled this time. They’d never bow down to him anymore!
They released all their pent-up emotions…
As Jack took it all in, he didn’t even bat an eye. Instead, he rushed toward the ones that had insulted him but had yet to find an empty statue, their bodies now shivering in fear.
At that moment, they just couldn’t understand. How had he dealt with their brethren attacking him that quickly?! But most of them would sadly never know.
Jack instantly went on a wild rampage.
A second later, he had already grabbed a Newborn!
“Wanna get ahead? Haven’t found a statue yet? Here, let me help you!”
Jack gave a bright smile and… THROW! He sent the poor Newborn flying right into Monster Territory, the poor thing instantly kicked to death!
Yet, the head splattering from a hoof wasn’t enough, Jack already searching for more prey! He’d ONLY target the ones that had antagonized him earlier.
Just like that began a VERY swift slaughter.

“Naw, the creatures did!”
Smiling, Jack quickly rebutted the System as he kept indirectly killing. Still, a couple more did manage to escape him. Knowing this, he approached one, whispering to himself.
“Hmm. Maybe? Shall we try this just to see?”
[Ding! Touched Scaly Evolution Statue!]
[Subspace FULL! Entry Impossible!]
Entry impossible? Then what about this? Jack suddenly focused his entire being, sending his human soul straight at a statue that had ONLY been created to handle Lizardmen.
The effect was instantaneous, the poor statue shaking endlessly until… CRACK! CRACK! Wait, wasn’t this just like what had happened to the original one?! Yes, yes it was!
A second later, it exploded in a rain of fragments with Jack already running away, the entire area around the statue turning into a death zone!
It was as if a shrapnel grenade had just exploded! All that was left behind were holes in the ground, a mighty cloud of dust… and a shellshocked returned Lizard.
“I-Impossible! I was in, so how can this—”
Jack didn’t even bother answering and made short work of the guy.
Then he kept shattering statues and throwing ’food’ to the creatures, ones that couldn’t have been happier to snack on those arrogant youngsters!
As for him, he turned back…
“What about you guys? Not gonna run?”
He raised a perplexed brow at the lizards still in the Suicide Drill area. They were still traumatized by his showcase, but one nonetheless spoke up.
“The hunt. Was it real or not?”
The lizard asked with so much intent that even Jack couldn’t help but be impressed, especially as the former continued.
“Running won’t be enough. It won’t do anything against those things.”
He actually seemed eager to learn? Jackpot! Right now he was still questioning his methods, but at least he had potential. Grinning, Jack gave him a teasing look.
“Running? Who said this was actually about running? Can’t you hear?”
Hear? What were they supposed to hear? There wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. They hadn’t gotten any new power, they were still pretty much as weak, they— wait?!
That’s when they finally realized. Even now, the creatures were still roaring, yet none of the Newborns actually gave a shit?! The earlier lizard couldn’t help but exclaim in shock.
“T-That… it was all to train our nerves?!”
“Sure, amongst other things.”
“There’s more?!”
Hearing the wonder in the lizard’s voice, Jack couldn’t help but chuckle, ah the innocence of youth. How would he react once they stepped things to the next level?!
Hopefully, they wouldn’t commit suicide…
