Jack suddenly felt a wave of power invade his body. The green energy from the Evolution Space suddenly quivered and engulfed him as if trying to smother him!
And with the torrent of Mana came notifications…

Jack could feel his entire body change! First, there was intense pain, but it was soon replaced by a feeling of raw euphoria. Magic, magic, magic, even more magic!
He had the feeling of swimming in a sea of Mana, one he could forever get lost into, as if his entire raison d’être had become to pursue Mana! He’d have to absorb it all and—
No! Jack suddenly stopped himself.
He put a stop to all that delicious Mana entering him, with the willpower of a fat asian dude refusing free ramen. This amazing Mana was the greatest tonic, but also a poison!
And he had barely stopped absorbing that the semi-transparent messages that had been hidden under the sea of notifications suddenly appeared.

Had he not known better, he would have died right here and then! No wonder the Arcane Lizardmen had long gone extinct, they had pursued Mana until they died from it!

Jack confirmed, eagerly.
His body dissolved in countless glowing particles, and then he was back at the Subterranean Lands. The place was still the same, with a bunch of destroyed statues all around.
But he had barely arrived, when he was suddenly ambushed! Before he could react, there he was attacked by a terrifying tongue of fire! Right before him, was one oversized doggo!
Red Rocket could be seen, lava tears falling off its face. And in its big fiery eyes, there was endless relief as it excitingly circled around Jack, creating earthquakes with every step.
“R-ROOOAARRRRR!!!!!!”
As the creature roared, Jack understood it.
It was glad, so damn glad! It wouldn’t have known what to do if he died in there. And as it had seen the Evolution Statue explode, it had feared for the worst!
Seeing its shaking state, Jack couldn’t help but tease:
“Oh ye behemoth of little faith….”
And as he flicked its giant head, the latter gave a silly smile. True, what had it been worried for? At this rate, even a god would struggle against this crazy bastard!
And just like that, it happily shook its giant ass, ready for them to depart. But then it suddenly started shaking in terror as it suddenly noticed the sky.
There, fiery runes glowed brightly…

Neither Jack nor the Behemoth had seen the time pass. But at this moment, the latter especially freaked out. This wasn’t nearly enough time to go back!

He actually looked weaker than before, even smaller. But that was only at first glance! As he looked more, he suddenly saw all that had changed, and it was a LOT!
The once regular scales now smelled of Mana!
The eyes now had a faint blue glow!
The tongue had slit in three?!
Red Rocket suddenly realized what this meant.
The fear in its eyes suddenly increased a thousandfold as it took LOTS of steps back, as if the tiny lizard had the plague! Wasn’t this an Arcane Lizard? Weren’t those super dangerous?!
Even a guardian had heard of how they had gone extinct!
That species was akin to magical time bombs!
Yet, seeing the fear and shock, Jack grinned.
“Great! Just what I was expecting!”
“ROOAAARRR???????”
“Who says it’s bad?”
Who says it’s bad?! Anyone, literally anyone! Being an Arcane Lizard was akin to a death sentence. It was only a matter of time before he exploded in a gory Mana mess!
Chuckling, Jack approached his hand toward Red Rocket, the latter fighting its survival instincts screaming at it to get the hell away! “Don’t worry big guy, I won’t eat you.”
With every fiber of its being screaming ’danger’, the poor behemoth still remained perfectly still, finally relaxing as it came to its senses. But then the fear came back instantly.

“Relax, will you? Who do you think I am? I got a plan!” Jack had barely reassured that the behemoth was already overwhelmed with shock. Was this even possible?!

At this moment, a certain behemoth suddenly felt a chill. But before it could protest, Jack was already moving. As for what his new plan entailed exactly?
