Chapter 2571: Blood Dragon Materials

Adrian then looked at two of the materials that he has gotten from defeating the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico. The two items were sitting on his inventory as of the moment as he waited for Basil to return. She had to go somewhere immediately for a moment when the guild returned which is why Adrian has yet to fully check the two items.

Description: The heart of the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico that still pulses even in his death. It is the most important part of a dragon as the heart is where their power comes from. It has powers that is unknown as Blood Dragons are said to have been wiped out when the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico devoured all of them. It has the appearance of a heart that has small seven blood dragon heads coming out of it.

Effect:

-Gives a special buff to anyone that devours it.

Description: A core that was dropped upon the death of the only living Ancient Blood Dragon. It is unknown how the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico is, but it contains pure draconic energy. Have the Mother of Dragons take a look at this and you might find its use. It has a scaly appearance with a crimson glow that also looks like blood is flowing on it.

“Apologies if I am late, guild leader!” Basil stated as both Ark and Pana were with her when they came.

Adrian looked at Basil and could see six dragons of different elements perched onto her body. The dragons looked like small lizards that are stuck on her body, but their draconic power was evident. There were even some problems with people that try to smooth their way to Basil but her dragon babies as she calls them would terrify anyone. She is clearly different from the newbie that Adrian picked up before and is now the proud Mother of Dragons.

“No worries as I am the one inconveniencing you anyways. Can you please check these two items if they are safe to use?” Adrian asked Basil ash he handed over the Core of Blood and Heart of an Ancient Blood Dragon.

“You seriously trust me that much guild leader?! Casually handing me Semi-Transcendent items out of the blue like that.” Basil stated in shock and Ark and Pana immediately became curious and looked at the items that their guild leader presented.

“Is this the drops from that Blood Dragon that you defeated, guild leader?!” Both Ark and Pana asked.

“Yes. These two dropped when I killed it. It was not easy if I tell you honestly.” Adrian replied as Basil started to check on the two items.

Basil usually has the eyes of a human by default, but it changes when she uses a skill or in battle. Her human eyes shift to a more draconic image that is pure gold with a dark green slit. When she looks at anyone with these eyes, she could actually affect them with Dragon Fear if their level is lower than her.

“Is it fine?” Adrian asked as he did not know much when it comes to draconic items and he wanted to be careful enough if he were to use them. Basil is basically the almighty appraiser of draconic items that even Ancient Dragons cannot check. It is also the reason why she visits Dragon Island on her spare time.

“The two are fine but I think you can only use one of them, guild leader.” Basil stated which made Adrian curious.

“Oh! Care to tell me then? I am curious with your deduction.” Adrian stated with interest.

“I believe that you would let Kanlaon devour these two things but only one of them could benefit him. Devouring the other one would just raise some of his stats and would ignore an even bigger one.” Basil stated

“Enlighten me then.” Adrian stated as he is now intrigued by what Basil is telling him.

“Kanlaon can devour the Heart of an Ancient Blood Dragon to strengthen his body to the utmost for his current evolution. This means that he would then be at the peak of what a Genesis Dragon could be for his current level. The Core of Blood would do nothing for him except maybe increase his stats by a small amount which is 5% to 10%.” Basil stated.

“Still, 5% to 10% is not a small number to be disappointed about. That is still a significant increase to stats.” Adrian stated.

“Yes, but the Core of Blood is not as simple as you think. The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico that you have defeated was the only blood dragon left. He devoured all of his species in order to strengthen himself to the utmost. It also means that this Core of Blood contains all of the genetic information of all Blood Dragons. I can use this and revive the extinct blood dragons because I am the Mother of Dragons.” Basil stated.

“Okay but how does that help me?” Adrian stated in a rather dismissive tone as he did not want to do a favor to the dragons when he gets nothing.

“I think I might have oversimplified it too much but that is not a simple ordeal, guild leader. As you know, the dragons are low in number like you race, and they would do anything to revive even the dead ones. They were desperate enough to have Kanlaon with them that they barged in here. Also, you have changed the dragons for the better.

The dragons that have the Devouring talent are no longer killed but nourished by the Ancient Dragons themselves. They are now trying to create another Genesis Dragon like Kanlaon. If you also add the revival of Blood Dragons to your feat, then you will definitely be given access to the vault hidden in Dragon Island.” Basil stated.
