Chapter 2693: Controlling Chaos

Adrian always thought that there was something missing on why he cannot easily enter the ranks of a Noblesse. The Noblesse Inner Demon only told him that the death of a powerful primordial entity will help him unlock the trial. He was not satisfied with just unlocking the Noblesse Persona because he knew that he will still be weak compared to gods if he did not have anything that could help him overpower them.

Adrian would have been staring at a wall but he had already absorbed some things that could lead to his growth. It was subtle but Paradox already informed him that the Essence Boundary has been absorbed completely along with the treasures that he got earlier. All of them were refined as a way to strengthen his soul for the upcoming transformation that will occur.

He already had a glimpse of this power as he has a skill related to it called Chaos Pierrot. The only problem with this skill is that it is unruly and cannot be tamed easily. It is just like his other self that is always hungry for energy that are out of this world. He always thought that it was just part of the game’s system on why he has that. An unfortunate side effect of having both nether and aether energy together.

Adrian thought that it was just natural but he always had this lingering suspicion that it was unnatural. This part of him that hungered for divine energy, primordial energy, and other higher realms of energy is the result of all his choices. He would not have this part of him if he never fused his nether energy and aether energy in the first place. He would have just become a Netheros King or Aetheros King if he never fused them in the first place.

“It is not enough though. A power higher than life and death of the highest degree. I need that power in order to protect everything because of an unavoidable future.” Adrian thought to himself.

When he rescued the Star Gazer, she had given him an omen that only he had heard. A prophecy regarding the Daemos as a race. She said that the Daemos will prosper once more but it will come at a cost. A cost that will be heavy on his heart is what the Star Gazer said. Adrian did not know what that cost it but hearing it from someone blessed by the Fates is not something he wanted to find out.

His fear for this cost only worsened when the Fates themselves started to interact with him. The Fates are very fickle and rarely interact with mortals but they always bring blessing and a curse to them. It will be a blessing to the mortal but blessings powerful enough to change fate often came with a heavy price. This is the reason why Adrian himself has decided to fuse his nether and aether energy to become a Noblesse that has never before seen.

“Even if it breaks my body. I need to control those two energies within me to become a being that could defy fate.” Adrian thought to himself as he started the merging process immediately.

“Chaos Pierrot.” Adrian stated with a whisper but his energy that he always contained suddenly came out momentarily which froze all of the beings around him.

The players, the Immortals, the divine beasts, the demonic beasts, and even the fallen gods felt something incredibly overpowering come from the Arch Demon before them. They always knew that he is powerful enough to battle lower gods of his own but they never knew how much he always held back. It is not that Adrian is holding himself back but it is the way his body is structured that makes him unable to always release his full potential.

The two energies inside of Adrian’s body could be said to be polar opposites. Something that should not have been fused in the first place. There is a reason why the gods of life and the gods of death have different realms as their energies do not mix well. It is not that they cannot mix because the God of Death Abaddon and the Goddess of Life Gaea can fuse with one another but harmony is needed.

Even the God of Death Abaddonand the Goddess of Life Gaea needs to rest for a long time when they fuse their energies. What more for Adrian that has nether and aether energy which can be considered the original form of life and death energy. The fact that Adrian has yet to implode from what he has done is testament to how powerful he built his soul and how sturdy his body is. There are other factors that strengthened it but all of it added up to what he is now.

The only problem is that Adrian did not add everything all at once but in a sequence. This meant that his body needed a delicate balance which is why his Aetheros and Netheros personas have different forms. It is also a way for his body to cope with the two intense energies without suddenly exploding.

Adrian always tried to avoid fusing both energies together as they are volatile but it is ow different. Paradox has told him that 100% fusion would be needed in order for him to reach greater heights. It is also needed as only a fully 100% fused nether and aether core will be able to unleash the full power of the Chaos Pierrot skill. The reason for its randomness is due to the fact that he has yet to find perfect harmony between the two energies that need to be fused to use the skill.

[Master. Perfect Fusion of Nether and Aether Cores have been achieved.]

[Unleashing the Chaos Pierrot in its full form for one minute as that is what the body could currently handle.]

The skies suddenly became dark as the night sky appeared before them suddenly. The odd thing is that the stars and the planets suddenly looked bigger as they can now be seen closer than before. The next thing that changed was the ground beneath them as it suddenly took on the form of a lake filled with stars. The changes were not an illusion but something akin to a domain that expanded but it actually affected a quarter of the eastern continent.

All of a sudden, claws reminiscent of demon claws appeared in the sky. All of the beings that have seen this could see it and then looked at the source of this phenomenon but the Arch Demon vanished from his location. All of them suddenly panicked as the large demonic hands started to crumble time and space. All of them saw these large demonic hands squash everything around them and they were included.

All of them thought that they would die but they suddenly found themselves back to the original look of the eastern continent. All of the beings that witnessed such a terrifying phenomenon had to rest on the ground as it felt like their minds collapsed. What they experienced was not something that is an illusion but a demon reaching the power of a god.

When all of them have finally recovered, they finally saw a demonic clown holding a sphere that contained the essence of reality. In that confined reality are all the beings or rather all of their enemies which included the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong. It was only when they saw this demon clown that they noticed that all the enemies were no longer in the area while the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong that should have been trapped is also no more.

“Collapsing Reality.” Adrian stated as he crushed the reality sphere that he trapped all his enemies with.

The destruction of the reality sphere was silent as if he was just destroying a delicate sugar art. The aftermath is not silent as the entirety of the eastern continent shook because of what he did. All of the people in the eastern continent felt like the world was going to end but Adrian used his abilities once more. The aftershock of the destruction of a reality stood still as he turned them into particles of light.

[You have permanently killed the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong.]

[The registered guardian of the eastern continent has been killed.]

[Guardianship of the Eastern Continent will now be delegated to the next successors.]

[The Four Cardinal Divine Beasts will now become the new guardians of the eastern continent.]

The death of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong was not grand nor flashy. It was a death so quick and painless that it actually made everyone that witness it to shudder. The demon before them basically created a reality and folded it into nothingness. Even gods could not perform something as illogical as that but a demon that has yet to become a true demigod level being managed to.
