Chapter 2696: Awaken the Noblesse

Adrian and the others rested as the battle against the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong is incredibly tiring. Adrian himself made sure to sleep after the entire ordeal as he will need to do another important thing after. What Adrian did not know is that videos of his skill that could shape reality is now spreading all across the entire forums. All of videos are just reaction videos of the players that were there though as they were unable to capture the real skill effect.

As soon as Adrian returned back to the game, he made sure that all of his guild members have returned safely from the eastern continent. He also rewarded those that actively participated in the battle as some did lose their lives after all. A lot of players in the eastern continent also died in the battle as the forces of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong were not easy to defeat after all.

Adrian made sure to return back to the guild home and also placed a notice that no one should disturb him. He already planned today that he should now advance his Persona. It took a long time for him to actually get the requirements but his Noblesse Inner Demon told him that he can now do it. The trial will also be incredibly difficult for Adrian and he does not want any distraction that can potentially ruin his chances.

“If I fail then it would be like an Immortal failing ascension. A lot of my stats will be lowered as a punishment. This is the reason why a lot of players have not gained the status of a demigod yet. They can potentially harm their progress if they were not ready enough.” Adrian muttered but that is not actually the case.

A lot of players have yet to become demigods due to the fact that one needs to accumulate impossible feats to become one. Increasing the Persona is also akin to making one’s soul stronger. In Pandemonium, the strength of one’s soul is also linked to potential. Adrian already has a stronger soul compared to others but he did lack in achievements but killing the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong is something that can be said to be the most difficult achievement.

He also needed to make sure that he is alone and no one could interrupt him. This is the reason he went to his own pocket dimension home inside the guild house to make sure that he will never be bothered. As soon as he relaxed and sat in a crossed legged position, Adrian fell into a perfect trance state that sent him directly to the depths of his subconscious where the Noblesse Inner Demon lies.

“You have come.” The Noblesse Inner Demon stated as it sat on the throne present at the trunk of the large tree that is inside of Adrian’s inner subconscious.

“Of course, I have already gotten the achievements to attempt to become a Noblesse. Tell me, when will we fight?” Adrian asked but the Noblesse Inner Demon laughed.

“AHAHAHA! Fight? Did I ever tell you that we will fight?” The Noblesse Inner Demon stated as Adrian is a bit shocked because the others were defeated in combat.

“The others were needed to be defeated in order to pass. Are you not the same?” Adrian asked.

“The Lesser and Greater versions of you are merely the inner demons that could not control their primal instincts hence they needed to be defeated in order to submit to you. I am the Noblesse Inner Demon version of you. The pinnacle of all Demonkind which has complete mastery over time, space, and force.

Savageness is no longer the answer to become a Noblesse because one needs to consolidate all of their power into one. You need to find a way to harmonize everything inside of your body because at the moment… it is not good. A Noblesse is a being that is the culmination of all the energies inside the body of demonkind. You only made yourself have a difficult problem due to the fact that you house more than one.” The Noblesse Inner Demon stated.

The Noblesse Inner Demon basically told Adrian that he is too varied in energy as he has primordial, nether, aether, and even origin energy inside of him. Usually, demons only need to choose Origin as that is how they can safely ascend to become a Noblesse. The Noblesse Inner Demon basically told Adrian that he will not become one if he does not have a way to completely fuse every energy in his body or have it become only one.

“If that is what you are saying then… does that mean I cannot ascend yet?” Adrian asked.

“Yes. I also forgot to mention that the world barrier is still tied to the Daemos. You are still being restricted in becoming a Noblesse. You can overcome it but the world barrier is hindering a faster and safer alternative. Do you still wish to proceed?” The Noblesse Inner Demon stated.

“I do not have a choice because the enemies that I face grow stronger and I have been feeling helpless by the day. Some enemies can be said to be easily countered but there are some that cannot be overpowered with just my current power alone. Even if it is difficult, I need to ascend to become a Noblesse.” Adrian stated.

“YES! That is more like it! If it was easy then I would have just sent you away.” The Noblesse Inner Demon stated as he then showed Adrian representations of all the energy inside his body.

Representing Temporal Energy is a large moving clock with gears turning about. Each of the mechanism between the things are complex yet delicate at the same time. If one piece is missing then everything will go haywire and not work again. This is the representation of the most delicate energy handled by the Daemos.

The next energy that is given shape is Spatial Energy with the appearance of a black hole with exploding stars that create rifts. A volatile representation of Spatial Energy as it is the most unhinged and wild due to the fact that there could be catastrophic things to happen if not wielded with great care and mastery. The black hole also dips in and out of reality as if it is hiding inside another dimension.

For the last one for Origin energy which is Force Energy, the representation is rather odd as it represented by an invisible force. The invisible force would sometimes manifest into a hard shell which is like clear glass. One could also hear the crackle when two opposing forces collide against one another.

Adrian made sure to take a mental note of all three as this is the basics of the basics. This is the core of Origin energy as all of it is powered using it. Becoming a Noblesse mean great respect and admiration but it also carries the hope of the Daemos race. Any Noblesse is treated differently by Daemos as one could say that they are their version of royalty.

“There are still more to assess though.” The Noblesse Inner Demon stated as there were three different energies being represented as well.

Unlike Origin Energy that is something that demons have upon birth; the remaining three energies are all something that Adrian has picked along the way of his journey to become what he is now. All three energies which are nether, aether, and primordial are given a manifestation as well.

The Nether energy that Adrian has is represented by the nether mist that destroys everything that enters its location. It is also quite slow moving and eerie as no one would even dare to stand next to this one. This the first energy that Adrian grasped when he transformed into a lesser demon. He started as a Netheros with outstanding ability that came from wishing to be useful to the gods of death.

The Aetheros energy took in the form of a golden stone that is lodged into a hill sparkling in rainbow lights. The manifestation of Aether Energy is also like nether as it is acquired when Adrian wanted something to keep his own team alive. Aether energy is the one that answered his desperate call onto something that could help everyone that he cares about.

The next energy is none other than Primordial and it is something that was acquired when he evolved. The energy that is tied to Adrian’s soul weapon that is now also his in its entirety. Primordial energy took in the form of the starry galactic sky. It is filled with wonder but also a danger that lurks in the depths of the unknown.

“You have six different energies you can choose from that you can use. Even if you do choose one to specialize right now, it will not affect your own talent as a demon. Your other energies would be needed to be taken out of your body though.” The Noblesse Inner Demons stated.
