Chapter 2697: Awaken the Noblesse II

“Do I really need to choose?” Adrian asked his Noblesse Inner Demon.

The Noblesse Inner Demon smiled as he already knows why Adrian is asking that specific question. Adrian already looked at all of the energies present in his body and knew what he needed to do. He must not choose just one if he wanted to become stronger than what he is now. He does not want to sacrifice the others that make him strong just to advance further.

“You are thinking of something very dangerous and might even kill you if you do not prepare wisely.” The Noblesse Inner Demon stated but the smile on his face did not falter.

“If everything was easy from the start then I would not have reached this point.” Adrian stated which made his Noblesse Inner Demon even happier.

“Good! I was wondering if I should kill you here and now but your answer has satisfied me. A Noblesse should not choose but only subjugate.” The Noblesse Inner Demon stated as he only spoke the truth.

“I thought there would not be a fight but you were actually trying to kill me.” Adrian stated as he sharpened his gaze towards his Noblesse Inner Demon.

“That was part of the test. Now, proceed with what you want to do. Do not worry because I will not interfere.” The Noblesse Inner Demon stated as he vanished.

Adrian stared at all of the energies that are present before him. The other elders are not yet at the Noblesse stage because of the fact that they thought it risky to ascend while the world barrier is up. They could become Noblesse if they wanted to but only stayed at the Arch Demon stage to make sure that no problems arise.

During their time, a demigod being is something that could overturn kingdoms. Having four Noblesse as leaders of the Daemos would bring unwanted attention to them. By making sure that they retain their Arch Demon status, the Daemos prevented being attacked by demigod level beings as divine energy could be stolen by them after all.

“The past is already gone. I need to lead by example as the elders will be able to ascend safely once I become a Noblesse myself. The world barrier has already weakened to the point that staying as an Arch Demon is no longer necessary.” Adrian muttered as he first went to the area where the temporal, spatial, and force energy are located.

Adrian knew that he needed the power of his core magic which is Origin Magic. He cannot choose one specialization which is why he proceeded to combine all three of them. Thankfully, the combination of the three energies can go smoothly as they are all under the same category. Still, the perfect fusion process will still take at least one day to perform.

Adrian perfectly interweaved time, space, and force into one singular entity. The fusion of the three energies made it become the purest form of Origin Magic. It could even be said that Adrian himself created the perfect combination of the three energies to create what is called as Origin Energy. He felt the change in his body in an instant as temporal, spatial, and force are no longer divided into three separate entries but one singular energy.

Before, Adrian had to use temporal energy when using his time related skills. He would need to draw the specific temporal energy from his Daemos Core but it is no longer the case. He no longer needs to do the process of conversion as all his spells regarding time, space, and force will now use what he calls Origin energy. One may think it is easy but Adrian himself felt the burden as his entire body is now soaked in sweat.

“It is a good thing that I was able to fuse them perfectly without problem. The only problem is that it took too long to even make them complete. I already spent a day and a half just making sure that there are no problems with the purity. I can now safely say that my own Daemos Core now produces Origin Energy.” Adrian muttered.

What Adrian did was not something that could be done easily as it is like harmonizing all of the four natural elements into one singular energy source. Even if their origin is the same, combining different energies with different wavelengths and attribute is not something someone on the level of an Arch Demon should do. Demigods themselves would fear the repercussions if they were to fail as this meant that their body might explode.

“I took a break but it seems that there are suspicious movements in the north. I should task the shadow unit to help Frey just in case.” Adrian muttered as he read all of the messages he received while he was out meditating.

One of the messages he received were from Frey and that the north suddenly had monster tides forming. She told him that she would be riding with the other Valkyries to check om the source of the monster tides. The northern continent is not a place where monster tides occur easily as the living conditions there do not support the growth of large numbers of monsters.

“That is enough for now. I need to get back into fusing the other energies. It is a good thing that my Noblesse Inner Demon told me that I can take all the time that I need as long as I am not fusing the energies actively.” Adrian muttered as he once again entered his deeper subconscious.

At a place that is located at the depths of the northern continent, the cocoon that held the Beast of Ogdoad could be seen. The cocoon that looked like a dark mass of sinister energy started to finally crack. All of the monsters in the area around it started to flee en masse. The ecosystem around it has also been dried up as if it devoured the entire energy around it.

At first the cocoon only had a crack, a small crack but the energy it leaked already rivaled that of a demigod. Soon, the crack became bigger than before and it was like all beings that are demigod and above felt it. The surge of power that came out of the cocoon is something that all beings with divine energy sensed. It was like a warning signal suddenly flared up to all beings that have divine energy in their bodies.

The large cracks finally weakened the cocoon which prompted the being that is inside to finally take matters to its own hands. Dark insect-like hands suddenly pierced the cocoon to release the sinister energy that is lurking within. As soon as the energy dispersed, the skies above suddenly became dark and the land itself is also tainted with this peculiar negative energy.

Soon the Beast of Ogdoad finally emerged fully from it cocoon and it is nothing like any monster that has been seen in this world. One could even say that its appearance is closer to that of a dark god or a distorted god but this thing is not a god. The Beast of Ogdoad is a calamity that can kill gods or any divine being as it is a mass of pure negative energy.

To make matters worse, the Beast of Ogdoad also has a peculiar ability which is the fact that it could cloud the Will of the World. A being like it which is in the power level of a Greater God at its combination should have triggered a world message but it did not. The first thing that the Beast of Ogdoad did is to conceal its presence to the world itself. The Beast of Ogdoad might not have prevented some of its energy leaking earlier but it could prevent the world from detecting it upon its full revival.

“Revenge!” The Beast of Ogdoad stated as seven different voices came out of its large mouth but the main voice is the one that the Primordial Beast of Pride used as he became the core of this monster.

The Beast of Ogdoad has a body that is out of this world as it has large legs that looks like it is that of a large insect with four claws that could retract. Each of its legs are connected to the main body which looks like gigantic sphere that contains sinister energy. This gigantic sphere also looks like a large eye but each of the legs has eyes as joints.

The top part of the Beast of Ogdoad is a large mouth that contains razor sharp teeth and inside of it are more eyes. It could be said that the Beast of Ogdoad can be described as the worst combination of an arthropod and a crab. Above the Beast of Ogdoad are the symbols of each of the Primordial Beasts of Sin which are represented as floating magic circles. This is to symbolize that it is the perfect being that has all the powers of the Primordial Beasts of Sin and more.
