Chapter 2707: The Demons’ Ultimatum

“I am here. What do we need to do? Oh! Old Man Pann is here as well.” Adrian stated as he arrived at the council hall where the elders are now meeting.

“It is nice to see you too, brat. It seems that you have some changes in your body as well” Old Ma Pann stated which made Adrian check on the other elders upon hearing what the former said.

Adrian noticed that Old Man Pan no longer looks haggard or trying to push himself. It seems that he has already regained his strength as a Noblesse but he is still not at full capacity. Old Man Pann now looks stable enough to battle other demigods without any problem.

What shocked Adrian the most is the state of the three elders before him as they were now exhibiting strength that is in a higher dimension. All three of the elders now had the aura of a Noblesse as if they have succeeded in becoming more powerful than they already were. This would mean that they should also have different true appearances.

“All of you broke through!” Adrian stated in shock.

“When we learned that you were trying to become Noblesse, we old fogies would not let a young one beat us.” Elder Bronx stated.

“You should not lie to the child. We were already at that level but the world barrier is what hinders us from reaching this level.” Elder Koronn stated.

“Regardless, if we are now in the realm of Noblesse, it only means that the changes within the world divine barrier have now become permanent. We can no longer revert it back to what it once was but we must still close it or else more powerful beings might pass through.” Elder Ascalor stated.

“These old bones will just stay here and take care of the place as usual. Do not tell me that you will let someone that can barely walk go and take care of that business.” Old Man Pann stated as he immediately wanted to escape any responsibility.

Even though all four of them are now at the same realm, Old Man Pann still holds seniority over the three elders. If Old Man Pann says that he does not want to go out then he will be staying to protect the territory instead. Even the three elders believed that Old Man Pann is the best one to stay as he literally has an army at his call.

“I cannot go as well. I am the one in charge of the observatory today. It seems that the large rift in the northern continent has impacted the strength of the world divine barrier in other parts of the world. Someone needs to fix those gaps in defenses or else there might be Travelers popping out.” Elder Koronn stated.

“If that is the case then only Bronx, the brat, and I would go to the northern continent.” Elder Ascalor stated.

“Uhmm… what are we doing?” Adrian asked as he raised his hand because he is still not up to date with the plan.

“We are going to give those arrogant gods an ultimatum.” Elder Ascalor stated.

“Oh! Okay then.” Adrian replied as he suddenly found himself absorbed by a portal beneath his feet.

Adrian could no longer resist the powerful pull of space which shocked him. The fact that Elder Ascalor became even more powerful than before made him have a headache. The trials would become more difficult now that they are all in the realm of demigod level beings. Still, Adrian could feel that three elders felt purer in terms of energy.

Even without the elders telling him, Adrian already knew what happened as becoming a Noblesse for a demon is not just a normal change. Becoming a Noblesse is the most drastic change that could occur for a demon as they become an existence that represents the energy they choose for evolution. They can still use the spells and abilities that a Daemos has but their specialty literally is heaven and earth compared to the former Persona levels.

“Do not daydream kid. We are now at the northern continent.” Elder Bronx stated as his large body emitted a powerful killing intent that actually sent the entirety of Asgard in high alert.

“You got their attention. This is very good.” Elder Ascalor stated as an enchanted hammer suddenly flew towards their direction.

Elder Ascalor did not chant or speak anything but a portal suddenly appeared in front of them. The portal absorbed the enchanted hammer weapon which is Mjolnir and sent it directly towards the barrier of Asgard. The impact was so powerful that it shook the entirety of Asgard which also prompted the God King Odin to appear before the elders and Adrian.

“To what do we owe the visit of the demons?” The God King Odin stated.

“We are here to deliver an ultimatum, god king. Let us fix the rift that you have created and we will not care for what your next actions would be onto the world.” Elder Ascalor stated.

Adrian would have been shocked if he did not already know the context of their sudden visit. The Daemos do not care which god takes over the continent as they are neutral in that case. What the Daemos do not like is the fact that the world itself is on the verge of collapse because of a large rift in the world divine barrier.

“Let us do our job in fixing the world divine barrier and you can just go in your merry way of conquest.” Elder Bronx added which made the God of Thunder Thor angry as the demons were not honoring them as gods but looks at them as if they were normal beings.

“I am afraid that I cannot do that. You would need to kill me in order to even start your plan.” The God King Odin replied as he needs the rift to actually become slightly bigger.

“You have chosen your path, god king. Your race should be ready to handle the fury of the demons.” Elder Ascalor instantly replied as soon as he heard from the God King Odin.
