Chapter 2720: The Asgardian Gods March II

The events that led to a Valkyrie appearing and escaping from the grasp of the two gods were all observed by none other than the God King Odin. He made sure that all points of the northern continent are within his gaze. Some of those that know his abilities did create some ways to avert it like killing off the ravens or deploying barriers that block sight from aerial monsters.

“It seems that the Valkyries are now knowledgeable of what we are doing.” The God King Odin stated.

“You do not need to worry about them. They are just a race of warriors in the servitude of that woman. They are hardly a hurdle for all of us as we are now.” The God of Mischief Loki stated as he has already brought the Beast of Ogdoad back and even more powerful than before but still not enough to reverse the laws of the world.

“You say that but you did not know that those Valkyries have been colluding with the demons even back then. All of the information that we have on the Valkyries are from the ones that have pledge their loyalty to us. They have already verified that the Valkyries and th demons are allied. You even dare say they are no problem when you return with the Beast of Ogdoad not even in full power!” The God King Odin stated as his pressure made the God of Mischief Loki kneel down.

“Calm yourself, Odin. I merely said something that is true because those demons will not have any time to worry about us despite their declaration to us.” The God of Mischief Loki stated as the pressure on him suddenly ceased.

“Tell me! What does your devious mind cook up?” The God King Odin asked.

“I already made preparations for the demons with some of my own hounds that I have created. They are my followers or rather my deceased son’s followers that want revenge for his death. I gave them an artifact that could weaken the dimensional barrier enough to have rifts form in the given days. The demons are already short on manpower and they will have to fix those rifts first before they can deal with us.” The God of Mischief Loki stated.

“What you say is true. I have witnessed the defeat of those from the southern continent gods and the forgotten nature gods. Dealing with those powerful demons with our strength now is impossible if we are going to fight outside the territory which is why I am expanding it now. Even if I am using some of my strength to forcefully push out the sealed territory imposed upon us. Still, I believe the Mediator of Death is not part of the demons that fix the barrier as he moves as an independent entity.” The God King Odin stated.

“You do not need to worry about the Mediator of Death because I have already found something that can deal with him should he come knocking on our doors. I believe you know of this artifact that I have taken from that damned light goddess.” The God of Mischief Loki stated as he showed a purple orb that emanated an unknown energy.

“Yes! With that, we can deal with the Mediator of Death.” The God King Odin stated as he already knew what that item is and it is something so difficult to even obtain or find.

An item that even some of the gods do not know the usage of but both the God King Odin and the God of Mischief Loki know of. If the Goddess of Light Luminaria knew of its usage, then she would not have handed it over to the God of Mischief Loki when she received his help. If the Goddess Luminaria had that item then there might have been a change on how her battle would have ended.

“Still, the Beast of Ogdoad is not yet back to full power. If it regains its status that is equivalent to a high god then it would have already broken the law that the world created to restrict us.” The God King Odin stated.

“I had it already devour all of the demigod beasts and even the primordial beasts of the north. The only ones that it has yet to devour are the elusive ones that even I cannot detect. I also have another plan for it to breakthrough or at least get us something that can help us proceed without any problem.” The God of Mischief Loki stated which made the God King Odin interested.

“Tell me then. What do you plan?” The God King Odin asked as they have no other way of moving forward if the Beast of Ogdoad remains weak or does not become equivalent to a High God.

“A powerful Seer is located at the Ice Witch’s kingdom. I suggest that we take her and make user of her clairvoyance.” The God of Mischief Loki stated which actually shocked the other Asgardian gods that were silent before.

“Silence!” The God King Odin shouted and the hall suddenly became silent.

“You do know that making use of Seers mean that we will offend the Fates. Even they have sway over us as we know them as the Norns. Even I do not want to offend them hence we never made use of any Seer despite you encountering them in your escapades in the mortal realm. The punishment for capturing Seers is not something to be taken lightly as all those that do can only end with a terrible fate.” The God King Odin stated.

“What is fate if not to be defied?! We have defied the world itself and it can only restrict us. If we offend the Norns then so be it because they cannot do anything to us directly. You are the most powerful god in this world now and nothing will ever change that. Even the Norns cannot intervene as they cannot choose a champion after all.” The God of Mischief Loki stated with a crazed look.
