Chapter 2721: The Asgardian Gods March III

Some of the Asgardian Gods wanted to protest but the God King Odin was looking at all of them in disappointment. The God King Odin is disappointed in them because they cannot offer any other solution to the current predicament. They have all returned back to Asgard when they learned that two of the divine beings that attacked Avalon were killed permanently.

Only a few of the gods in Asgard are outside and trying to find a way or increasing their territory as of this moment. The God King Odin could only lament that the remaining Aesir gods have gone soft because of what he provided them. He is now slightly regretting the departure of the Vanir Gods because they are the ones that are truly resourceful.

“If we are to go against fate, do you believe that we will be able to overcome them?!” The God King Odin asked the God of Mischief Loki.

“Absolutely! Have you forgotten what I am capable of? I can easily sneak inside the sanctuary of that Seer and extract her from there. Also, I heard something interesting from the whispers in that kingdom. Something that will definitely rile you up as there is someone there that is an old acquaintance of yours.” The God of Mischief Loki stated.

“Enough with the long descriptions and pretenses. Just tell me what you know as time is precious for us, Loki.” The God King Odin stated.

“It seems that one of your old enemies, Ymir, is there with the ice witch. I guess he is not called Ymir as he seems to have reincarnated as a Jotunn. He calls himself as Aurgelmir now and is also a one of the few divine blacksmiths that the world has.” The God of Mischief Loki stated as he bowed but it was merely him hiding his devious smile.

Upon the mention of the name, the God King Odin suddenly exploded with killing intent that he filled even the main castle of Asgard. Even the gods there suddenly became meek as they felt the intense killing intent of the God King Odin. An enemy and also called the Father of Frost Giants and the Ancestor of all Jotunn as he is the first to be created amongst them.

Ymir or rather Aurgelmir is not just fond of Adrian because he finds the latter quite quirky but it is also due to him being the Ancestor of the Jotunn. He is the first Jotunn to ever be created by the Asmodian Jotunn themselves. He would have become an Asmodian Jotunn if not for crossing against the Asgardian Gods from back then.

Even if the God King Odin has yet to receded his anger against Ymir because the latter is the cause of death of his two real brothers. The God King Odin had two brothers called Vili and Ve but they were killed by Ymir. It might have been the Asgardian gods that triggered Ymir but the resentment and anger of what happened that day cannot be forgiven by the God King Odin.

“Even if I killed him, he still found a way to survive once again. I even fashioned his entire body into a dead planet because it cannot me melted. Are you speaking the truth, Loki? You are not merely enticing me to command all of you to attack that ice witch?” The God King Odin stated.

“I am speaking the truth because I have witnessed him myself. There was an engagement ceremony held by those two in the central plaza of the ice witch’s kingdom. I thought it was strange that a Jotunn would have the essence of the Frigid Ice and could even breath fire but it is true. I was also there when you drove your spear on Ymir’s chest after all.” The God of Mischief Loki stated.

“I shall verify it myself but what you said about taking the Seer is useful. You have convinced me that we need to defy fate even if that means making enemies of the Norn. The ravens have told me that it is not just a powerful seer but one called the Great Star Gazer. A being blessed by the Norns themselves and also hidden from the view of the gods.” The God King Odin stated.

“Does that mean that you approve?” The God of Mischief Loki asked even though he already knew the answer. He only wanted to hear it come from the mouth of the God King Odin himself to prevent any opposition from the other gods. He is actually quite happy that the gods that vocally oppose him are not present or else this chace would not have happened.

“Your theatrics bore me, Loki. Still, you are the only one that has presented what we can do. Even those that are not here cannot give me a way to push through. The Ice Witch might be formidable but she will be a good meal for the Beast of Ogdoad to restore its strength.

The Great Star Gazer can also give us the victory we seek. Also, if that divine blacksmith is indeed Ymir reborn then having him as my slave with at least quell my resentment for him. If he is not then we will gain a divine blacksmith that will forge weapons for us in our road to conquest.” The God King Odin stated.

“I have already planned everything and will make sure that we take the kingdom of the ice witch as well.” The God of Mischief Loki stated.

“I expected as much. Do not disappoint me, Loki. This plan of yours is also a double egde sword that can harm us at the very end. Your head will also be on the line because it is you that will personally move to get the Great Star Gazer.” The God King Odin stated.

“I will make sure to do everything that I have said and more. Even if the demons and the Valkyries come, they will not be able to hinder me at the slightest.” The God of Mischief Loki stated with a twisted smile.
