Chapter 2734: Against the God of Mischief

Frey’s armor is suddenly coated in a platinum sheen and wolf accents as the power of the Divine Wolf Lupa appeared in her body. Usually, two divinities mixing would be impossible unless they are special like the Twin Gods but the divine power of a goddess and a divine beast is inherently different. The two divine powers actually amplified each other to the point that Frey could over power the God of Mischief Loki.

The God of Mischief Loki clicked his tongue as he did not expect to be heavily damaged by a being weaker than him. Gods are meant to subjugate mortals or those lesser than them which is what the God of Mischief Loki. He even thinks that those weaker than gods should just accept that they will forever be in their servitude. He believed this entirely but his pain screamed that these lesser beings are now defying him.

“With the seer already dead, I do not have any need to stay here. Have fun while it lasts!” The God of Mischief Loki stated as he used his divine ability to turn into mana to escape but Frey was not having any of it.

Frey immediately utilized what she learned from fighting against the Goddess of Earth Sif. She blasted out her divine energy into the area which actually cancelled out the skill that the God of Mischief Loki used to escape. The God of Mischief Loki could not believe that his transference spell has already been cancelled by a mere mortal.

“You will not leave here.” Frey stated as she waved her spear once more to summon wolves made of auroras.

The wolves lunged at the God of Mischief Loki but they could not scratch him easily as he used the daggers to destroy them. The daggers coated with a special poison is also harmful to constructs made with divine power. It was like the God of Mischief Loki is in possession of weapons that can easily kill gods despite being a god himself.

The God of Mischief Loki did not think that there would be a way for his own ability to escape to be cancelled. He always prided himself in the fact that he could escape any situation without any problem. He believed that what Frey did was just a fluke which is why he tried once again but he could not use the transference spell. The one that forbade him to escape was not Frey but Adrian as he already locked the space in the sanctum.

[You have temporarily gained ownership of the special pocket dimension called the Sanctum of Stars.]

[The enemy weakening law has been temporarily disabled for a new law that you created.]

[You have changed one of the laws in the sanctum to never let a divine being use any warp spells or abilities.]

“Hah! I can feel some of my power getting back to me! You actually locked me inside this pocket dimension but it seems that there were some sacrifices need to do so.” The God of Mischief Loki stated as he already knew what that sacrifice is since his missing strength upon entering the sanctum has returned.

“Did you think that regaining some of your missing strength will help you escape here alive? You will die here and accompany our fallen friend to the afterlife.” Adrian stated even though a part of him already sent the Great Star Gazer’s soul to Limbo.

Adrian then summoned all of his soulbounds but the entire sanctum has already changed as it is now covered in nether energy. Adrian’s form slowly shifted to his Netheros form with a scythe while his soulbounds came out in their nether forms. All of his soulbounds appeared because Adrian is no longer taking any chances as he wants to kill the God of Mischief Loki today.

“You should have kept me weaker. You would at least have a fighting chance.” The God of Mischief Loki stated as he suddenly turned sinister looking to create multiple clones of himself. Each of the clones did not decrease in power as all of them are in the lesser god power category.

The God of Mischief Loki on created enough clones that can deal with the number of powerful beings in the area. He created a clone for Frey, Adrian, and each of Adrian’s soulbounds to battle. One would think that each clone would be commanded by the God of Mischief Loki but each actually has a mind of their own. Each of the clone comes from one of the minds of the God of Mischief Loki as he is unlike other gods.

The God of Mischief Loki is a trickster god and a trickster god is not in the realm of a normal god. Even gods need to think one dimensionally sometimes but trickster gods can take on multiple minds at the same time without becoming insane. One could say that trickster gods have multiple personalities and this is also true for the clones created by the God of Mischief Loki. Each of the clones represent a state of mind from the God of Mischief Loki as they are different personalities.

“Which one is the real one?” Frey asked Adrian as he could see through souls but even the latter is confused.

“All of them are authentic and share the same soul. We need to kill all of them in order to kill the God of Mischief Loki.” Adrian stated as each of the clones have the same amount of soul and divine power.

“If that is the case then we combine our powers.” Frey stated and Adrian agreed.

Frey’s armor could be said to be the only thing that is giving light inside of Adrian’s domain. Now this armor is suddenly swallowed up in nether mists as Adrian enchanted her with the power of the domain. Frey knew that she will have difficulty killing a divine being without Adrian’s nether energy which is why she asked for help. For Frey, killing the God of Mischief Loki is her ultimate task.
