Chapter 508: Golden Void Outlaws (3)

[ Eltuvaine ]

-Rating: 1000 ( + 0 )

-Skills:

1 – Devouring Night Barrier.

2 – Storm Cruise Drifting.

3 – Blight Cannon Blasters.

4 – Position Displacement.

5 – Impaler Charge Mode.

“These five skills are pretty good, but clearly downtoned compared to our original versions.” Lily raised her eyebrows. “But the energy efficiency is boosted significantly.”

“Yeah, we won’t have to use as many tier-3 crystals as we expected at first.” Almond nodded.

There were some important points to remember about this event, so everyone looked over it in their notifications.

First, they could gather Pirate Points by killing monsters and destroying other pirate ships.

Second, the only way to eliminate others was by drowning them in the ocean water for one minute. Killing others would just respawn them to a random island, but drowning for one minute would result in a true death.

Third, there were mystic powers found in some islands. They were guarded, and competition for them was high, but they were the only resource to upgrade the ship.

Fourth, if the ship is destroyed, a pirate group could try to take over another ship within a 48-hour period. Failing to find a new ship would result in disqualification from the event, and they wouldn’t be able to participate again.

The ship groaned once, then surged forward, cleaving the sea like a black scythe.

Exotic metals sang under the weight of waves, the engine’s heart pulsing with the burn of tier-3 crystals.

Silver spray rose high, reflecting the storm-veins that flickered along the hull, a vessel of both majesty and menace—Eltuvaine moved like it was alive.

The horizon stretched endlessly, only broken by shadows of things far too large to be called mere “fish.”

They first encountered a giant two-headed eel with an electric-type true concept.

It was as powerful as a peak Grim Adventurer, a peak Tier-3 monster.

But it was only one, and Regalons made quick work of it, gaining 3000 pirate points.

Shortly after dealing with that eel monster, a horde of broad-winged gulldrake shrieked as they swooped low, their long and sharp claws could tear low-defense ships easily.

They were a group of Tier-2 monsters, so all Regalons moved and killed them while the ship didn’t even get a scratch from their claws.

Blight Cannon Blasters roared.

Green-black beams drilled through flesh, tearing chunks of sea and air alike.

The deck vibrated as Storm Cruise Drifting activated as Eltuvaine moved with impossible grace, avoiding the slam of a leviathan tail before returning the favor with an Impaler Charge that skewered the beast from below.

Bodies of monsters floated like shattered islands before dissolving into faint gray particles, rewards translating instantly into Pirate Points.

Hours passed, but fatigue never set in. Regalons hunted the oceans as predators disguised as pirates. The weak monsters gave way to stronger ones, yet nothing managed to slow them. Pirate Points steadily rose—like coin stacking without end.

But monsters weren’t the only ones prowling the seas.

“Ship, starboard!” Natalia’s voice cracked sharply against the wind.

Through the mist, a rugged vessel appeared, its hull patched from battles, sails torn yet burning with faint runes. Dozens of figures scrambled the deck, brandishing grim weapons that gleamed under the clouds.

“They’ve locked onto us.” Rudra’s tone was calm, but the corners of his lips curled. “Perfect. Let’s have some real combat.”

Cannons flared first, crimson streaks lancing across the sea. But Eltuvaine tilted, dancing sideways like a phantom wave, the shots missing by a hair’s breadth.

“Thirty-eight people,” Almond’s eyes narrowed, tone flat as judgment. “We’ll sink them.”

The deck erupted into motion. Lily vaulted skyward, chakrams flashing arcs of void-silver.

Natalia’s music instruments released waves to control waves around the ship, boosting its maneuverability further.

“Let’s go.” Bianca narrowed her eyes as her large bow locked onto the enemy ship.

Half of the Regalons used their moves to defend against incoming attacks while the other half launched their own attacks.

Soon, the difference became clear. Regalons managed to either dodge or block all of the attacks. Nothing hit their ship in the five-minute bout.

But the enemy failed to dodge and block all attacks from Regalons. They had two Grim Adventurers, but they were not enough.

Almond, Big D, Anya, and Zauna flew up, picking off the pirates and suppressing them under the water.

One by one, the pirates screamed as water claimed them. Some clawed at the waves, others cursed, some begged, but most of them were swallowed forever, while a few managed to swim away fast.

The enemy ship burned and dissolved into fragments as Pirate Points flowed into the Regalons’ total.

Eltuvaine surged forward again, the ocean parting before its hull. It wasn’t long before they saw an island far away and suddenly got a notification.

[ You have entered a Non-Combat Zone. Fighting and attacking others around this island is prohibited. Those who break this rule will be disqualified instantly. ]

As soon as the Regalons docked their ship alongside a bunch of others, their second task of arriiving on a nuetral island was completed.

[ 3rd task: Join a faction. ]

“What the…look at their points.”

“It’s not that much. What’s so surprising?”

“Idiot. They haven’t even joined a faction yet, but they have that many points. They likely destroyed a ship or two already.”

“Wait, the Undercurrent Pirate Crew vanished from the leaderboard. Could it be…”

Regalons were hearing the talks while moving towards the island’s center, where three pillars of light were flowing in the sky, each one representing a faction.

The Royal Family and their supporters were in the Red Monkey faction.

The Cross Light faction and their supporters were in the Blue Crab faction.

Lastly, the Rebel Faction and their supporters were in the Orange Parrot faction.

All three factions were eagerly waiting for the Golden Void Outlaws because they knew they had come to participate in this event.

When they arrived on the island, the faction leaders were instantly notified.

As soon as the seventeen Regalons arrived at the town center, where all three factions formed a triangle within a two-kilometer radius divided by three parts, all eyes were on them.

The Royal Family and Cross Light faction had suffered at the hands of Golden Void Outlaws, but they still extended an invitation to them promptly.

Both of them gave benefits as well, and also gave them naked threats.

Almond and others didn’t react and only maintained indifference while their envoys spoke and left.

The Rebel Faction approached them at last, but before their envoy could speak, Almond said, “Lead the way. We are joining the Rebel Faction.”

“What? Really?” The envoy was dumbstruck.

“Nah, we are just joking. Now, start your speech.” Natalia sneered. “If you don’t give us more benefits than the other two, we won’t join you.”

The envoy’s face darkened.

However, Almond and others began walking towards the Rebel Faction, passing by the envoy and confusing him.

“What…”

Natalia turned her head and laughed at him before continuing walking.

Arriving in the large camp, Almond and others looked at the only figure that was giving them pressure, who sat on a chair while talking with some people.

When Regalons entered, his eyes flickered as he looked at their masks. ’So they are the Golden Void Outlaws.’

Waving his hand, he dispersed the group he was talking to and gestured.

’You all go back to Spirit Voiderran Realm. Lily and I will finish talking with him about our entry.’ Almond relayed to others.
