Reincarnated Hero System

Chapter 902 - 902: The ‘Last Forsaken Divine’ IV

“What kind of messed up Raid Boss are you?! You can fucking regenerate! Why do you also have healing magic!”

Evan cursed as he charged at the Forsaken Divine with his right arm raised.

His sword that had fallen somewhere earlier flew back into his grasp and he swung his blade, unleashing a blade cannon.

Rezaemon called forth his great sword and cut through the slash, before raising the blade high and with his ridiculous speed, unleashed a devastating wave of Light Magic that blasted through the air.

The attack struck Evan, Artemisia, and Beatrix who had closed the distance all at once, sending them flying. The force of the blow was overwhelming, blasting them through entire walls, shattering the stone like it was glass.

Beatrix crashed into the rubble, her golden blood spilling across the floor and Artemisia was similarly wounded, her body skidding to a stop with golden streaks of blood trailing behind her.

Evan hit the ground hard, coughing up blood—his, of course, was a normal, deep red.

“This… isn’t good…”

Beatrix muttered, her voice weak as she pushed herself up, her body trembling from the impact.

Evan looked through his bloodstained vision and he could see Rezaemon standing at the centre of the destruction, still bleeding, with flames licking his wounds.

In that moment, Rezaemon suddenly changed.

His body began to grow and his muscles expanded as his height increased. Soon he stood at a towering ten meters tall.

Evan, Beatrix, and Artemisia could only stare in shock at the sight before them.

Even though Evan hadn’t met one of them before in his life, he could instinctively tell. Similarly, Artemisia’s evolution powers allowed her to also tell.

Rezaemon’s size increase was not magic or some technique.

It felt more like he was reverting to his original size, one that had been shrunken to maximize speed.

But why was his original size this large? The answer lay in the status board Evan had glimpsed earlier.

Before becoming a Fake Divine, before all of that happened to Rezaemon, he was from a race of beings who had inherently large and powerful bodies.

| Race- Huma/GiaN{T&*?/Errdemigo#or@]|

Rezaemon, was a Half-Giant.

Returning to his true form did wonders for his attack power. While he sacrificed some speed, he remained astoundingly fast for his newfound size.

Evan immediately got up to his feet, his titanium body skill helping him handle the damage better than the two goddesses.

In a heartbeat, he transformed into his draconic form and the first thing he did was unleash the Authority of Dragons.

Dragon Breath.

Prismatic flames erupted from his mouth, bathing the chamber in radiant light as the torrent surged towards Rezaemon. But the Half-Giant merely swung his blade, cleaving the inferno in half.

The prismatic flames split, sending two streams of fire roaring past him, narrowly missing.

Rezaemon charged at Evan, his great sword raised high and in response, Evan used Elemental Weapon Projection to summon a storm of Frostfire weapons that rained down upon Rezaemon.

Each weapon tore through the air at supersonic speed, but Rezaemon was even faster. He conjured sharp spears of earth from below, sending them into the air like jagged pillars that pierced through the rain of Frostfire weapons and obliterated each one with explosive force.

Evan unleashed another breath, simultaneously using Adamantine Might and Vindiction’s strike. He used Hydra as well, summoning nine serpentine dragons around Rezaemon.

Yet, with an astonishing display of speed, Rezaemon cut through everything that came his way.

He darted forward like a living missile, his great sword cleaving through Evan’s breath and the dragons with devastating ease.

The sound of his blade slicing through the air was accompanied by a cacophony of explosions, as each projected weapon and serpentine dragon met their end in a brilliant flash of light, leaving behind nothing but scattered remnants of magic.

Frostborne Colossus appeared and Evan used Factor Mimic, but the Mimic that only had 50% of Evan’s power was easily caught by Rezaemon and divided in two with a powerful slash that split the entire chamber in two. The slash continued forward and tore everything in its path for kilometres!

As Rezaemon deleted the Frostborne Colossus from existence with a swing of his sword, Evan summoned a wall of lightning blocks, and they collapsed in on Rezaemon faster than he could move his sword, but he was able to protect his body with earth magic.

Still, this gave Evan time to retrieve his sword and use Space Warp, teleporting behind Rezaemon and using ‘Hell Unleashed’.

The strike with the power to cleave a mountain collided with Rezaemon’s back, and Evan displayed astonishing power control by forcing all the power of the attack into Rezaemon’s body.

However, the ten-metre-tall Half-Giant anchored his body to the ground with earth magic to prevent being blown away by the force.

Even as the flames scorched his back, revealing charred bones beneath, he felt no pain—only an overwhelming surge of rage.

And because he couldn’t feel the pain, he was able to act, reaching through the flames and grabbing Evan’s small body with his enormous hands like a vice.

With a brutal motion, he slammed Evan into the ground, the impact reverberating through the chamber. Dust and debris exploded into the air as the force of the blow sent shockwaves rippling outward.

Without a moment’s pause, Rezaemon lifted his foot and stomped down onto Evan’s body, the weight of the blow pinning him mercilessly against the cold floor.

Evan gasped for breath, the air knocked from his lungs, but the Half-Giant was not finished. In one swift motion, he kicked Evan upwards, sending him soaring toward the ceiling like a ragdoll.

As Evan neared the apex of his flight, he caught a glimpse of Rezaemon, towering above him, ready to bring his great sword crashing down.

But just before the blade connected, Evan forced words past his bleeding lips, the effort burning with every syllable.

“Burn, Mesarthim!!”

***KAAAAABOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!!

A nuclear-level explosion erupted at point-blank range, the force of it consuming Rezaemon in an inferno of destruction. The blast radiated outward, annihilating everything within a vast radius.

The very air shimmered with heat as parts of the ceiling disintegrated, molten rocks and flames cascading down like deadly rain.

Evan, completely unharmed by the blast due to his self-power immunity, Space Warped behind Rezaemon. He drove his blade deep into the Half-Giant’s back, feeling the resistance of muscle and sinew as the sword pierced through flesh.

He activated Stoneheart’s Embrace to petrify the Half-Giant before he could heal, and at the same time, Evan opened his mouth wide, unleashing a concentrated breath of energy aimed directly at the back of Rezaemon’s head.

The point-blank breath attack tore open Rezaemon’s skull, revealing his brain, but before Evan could charge another breath, Rezaemon grabbed Evan with his massive hands and flung him towards the ground.

**BAAMMM!!!!

Evan crashed with devastating force, the impact creating a crater in the already damaged floor. Pain shot through his body as he struggled to regain his bearings, but he knew he had to act quickly before Rezaemon retaliated.

He opened his inventory and let potions fall onto his body, steam rising as his wounds healed, albeit slowly.

“Queen of Evolution!”

He heard Artemisia’s words as he forced himself to his feet, and before he could even say a word, he felt the goddess’ hands grab his shoulders.

“Beatrix!”

No more words were needed. Beatrix understood her best friend’s intentions and used her Unique Skills.

“Chrono-Space Dominion! Light of Restoration!”

Evan was bathed in a healing light and a powerful spatial magic surged from Beatrix’s body, enveloping the entire area in its glow.

Starry lights twinkled through the air and Beatrix, her eyes glowing with the light of the night sky swung her spear downwards.

Space itself folded and morphed into a giant hammer that bashed Rezaemon out of the air. Faster than the giant could get up again, Beatrix swung her spear again and bashed the Half-Giant deeper into the ground.

At the sight of this, Evan’s eyes widened in surprise, not even bothered about the fact that his mask was torn.

“…a bounded field?”

“No. And she can’t keep up for long.”

Artemisia responded, before activating her skill. She was about to infuse her divinity into Evan but the energy was repelled by his body, his innate resistance causing her backlash.

Golden blood dripped from her hands and she stared at him in shock, and then Evan, who was looking at Beatrix folding space to hold off Rezaemon snapped out of his daze, spoke.

“Whatever you want to do, don’t use divinity. It wouldn’t work.”

“…”

Artemisia was dumbfounded. She then recalled something she had noted earlier when she discovered Evan’s Adaptive Evolution.

‘My future self did give him power, but the divinity energy is not within his body…!’

Immediately, she switched to magic power, and Evan’s body didn’t reject it like before.

“Forced Evolution.”

Immediately, Evan’s level tab saw a change.

|Level- 582 (+18) |

It was a temporary boost, that took his level to 600, and with Level 600, came SSS Rank Stats!

Even though they were all SSS-, the difference between SS+ and SSS- was not negligible, especially since this temporarily made Evan an ‘Intermediate-Stage Epic Level’.

Artemisia’s power escaped her body faster than she expected, and her eyes went wide in shock at Evan’s ridiculous power capacity.

‘Forget ten minutes, I doubt I can hold this for five!’

The instant Evan noticed this boost to his level, he used Blink to teleport.

He didn’t need to be a genius to know this boost was temporary, and he had every intention of taking advantage of it.

Meanwhile, Beatrix was one-sidedly pouring attacks on Rezaemon, forcing space to move even though golden blood spilt from her eyelids.

Just as Rezaemon clashed with the giant spatial sword she summoned, a streak of crimson gold light hit the Half-Giant from the side, knocking him through the air and onto the ground.

A foot descended from above and stomped down on where his head was, but he hurriedly rolled away, avoiding taking a foot infused with ‘Collapse’ to the face.

Rezaemon got to his feet and he unleashed a powerful downward slash, and though Evan dodged it, the aftershock sent him crashing into the ground.

He grabbed a nearby boulder and hurled it at Evan, but Beatrix created a temporal bubble to freeze it. Evan’s Dragon Breath tore through the boulder and collided with Rezaemon’s chest, blasting him through the air and in Artemisa’s direction.

The Half-Giant slammed his sword into the ground and erected multilayer earthen barriers to block Evan’s breath, then infused his divinity into the earth, sending a shockwave rippling outward to throw them off balance.

Evan jumped to avoid it and dashed towards Rezaemon who swung his great sword to meet the Unforged.
