Chapter 1805: The Monstrous Spell Caster

Chapter 1805: The Monstrous Spell Caster

Aquarina smiled, holding the ant with everything she had as its eyes widened, seeing Agua, Silvia, and Justicio jumping on it from left, right, and above.

“DAMNED…! HUMANSSSSS!”

The Ant screamed furiously, its aura of frost erupting from its body, shaking the world around it as flames mixed with its ice. Several pages of its Soul Weapon Grimoire manifested, glitching with aberrant runes. It seemed its Soul Weapon was still there, although damaged after its abrupt death and revival.

Each page opened a corrupted demonic beast rune that swirled and opened its aberrant jaws, firing beams of freezing flames toward its enemies, attempting to stop Justicio, Silvia, and Agua from ambushing it from behind.

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

However, shadows manifested from Aquarina’s aura, forming giant hands that blocked the blows even as they froze and exploded into more freezing flames, giving the trio time to reach the ant, attacking it with everything they had once more.

“{Spiritual Insectoid Axe Arts}: {Thunderous Dragonfly’s Jaws}!”

“{Holy Soul Hammer Arts}: {Nova Smite}!”

“{Sea Spirit’s Frost Shell}!”

As Justicio’s and Silvia’s blows were about to hit the monster, the ant quickly retaliated, aiming at them as it tried to get past their attacks with immense agility, attempting to freeze them by touching their faces, its arms stretching unnaturally.

However, Agua’s spell came in clutch, manifesting spiritual shells around her friends, which helped them endure the powerful blow as they pushed forward. Justicio’s Axe and Silvia’s Hammer cleaved and crushed the ant’s left and right sides.

CRAAASH! CRAAASH!

“GRYYYAEERRRGGHHHH!”

The ant let out an agonizing scream, trying to jump away by kicking the floor, only for Agua’s magic to hold it down, as water and frost pushed it into the floor with immense force.

At the same time, Aquarina’s daggers overflowed with shadows and her abyssal embodiment’s powers, stabbing and cutting through the ant’s back, constantly dealing damage as she tried to behead it, although its exoskeleton, especially on its neck, was immensely tough.

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

However, despite how tough it was, the monster wasn’t invincible. Cracks spread through its entire body, and its arms were cleanly sliced and crushed by Justicio and Silvia respectively.

“KRAAAAHHHHH!”

In a desperate scream for survival, its Soul Weapon, the hundreds of pages, manifested once more, loaded with destructive spells: massive frost fire meteors, gigantic spears of ice, and swords of flames, bombarding its foes around it endlessly.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Aquarina and her friends were sent flying before they could properly defend themselves or end the ant once and for all. The bombardment of insanely powerful magic seemed never-ending.

“Agggh! D-Damn it! It’s gone crazy!” Agua said. “Is it much stronger than before now?!”

“So not only did that thing die, but it somehow became, like, thrice as strong?!” Justicio asked angrily.

“Uuuggh, we can barely keep up by retaliating against the spells, and it’s only getting farther away from us!” Silvia complained.

“Keep it up, we can do this together!” Aquarina roared, enveloping her friends with her Aura and sharing it to make them stronger. Her Spiritual Aura had evolved into many new forms, enhancing their power and helping their Beast Auras temporarily evolve, surging even stronger than before.

All four of them kept moving forward, but Agua, Silvia, and Justicio showed clear signs of exhaustion, while Aquarina was barely hanging on with her current exhaustion as well, if not for her powerful physique and skills holding her together.

She quickly summoned the staff Sylphy gave her, conjuring waves of healing flames around her friends while barriers made of lightning helped them better resist the bombardment of magic.

Although the Blazing Ant Conjurer’s Soul Weapon had been corrupted and evolved into countless pages that were definitely weaker than its former self, because there were so many pages, this made the ant stronger. One hundred pages meant one hundred spells it could unleash everywhere, and it seemingly had a lot of Mana as a Conjurer-type Blazing Ant too.

“KRIIEEHEHEHEHE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIEEEEE!”

Even though the ant was at death’s door, it laughed triumphantly, raising its head into the air and laughing out loud. It was missing all of its arms and was covered with deadly wounds, but it couldn’t heal itself because that would give its foes an opening.

Its plan was simple: it aimed to kill them and then heal itself, fully knowing it had already used its only revival of the day.

“We’re getting closer, keep pushing!” Aquarina roared, punching through flames and frost with her bare hands, her aura erupting and resembling a giantess of oceans, flames, thunder, and darkness, punching everything she could.

“Where the hell is that guy? He’s way too late now!” Justicio said angrily. “Damn it!” Even his armor, which could imitate part of Quetzal’s skills, wasn’t enough now, as he grew exhausted due to a lack of Mana.

“Uuuggh, I’m running out of Manaaaa…!” Silvia panicked. “Khepri, please don’t go yet! Please…!” She kept trying to bombard the spells, unleashing missiles and beams with her mechanical armor.

“I’m doing everything I can! I’m even using my own Mana reserves for this, damn it!” Khepri said.

And Agua suddenly stopped struggling, smiling.

“Don’t worry, everyone, he’s here!”

“Eh?”

“Huh?”

“What?!”

As her friends glanced at her with confusion, a bright green light suddenly manifested from the skies above, breaking through the ceiling and rushing down toward the ant.

BOOOM!

They watched with eyes filled with disbelief as a powerful, mechanically armored Bird Anima descended, crushing the ant’s body with a massive tornado and then kicking and slashing its body with his metallic claws and wings.

FLUOOOSH!

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

“W-What…?!”

The ant was shocked, unable to process what was happening. At the same time, Aquarina and her friends smiled, realizing who had finally arrived.

“Quetzal!”

The winged warrior rapidly unleashed a barrage of powerful, potent blows. Each of his claw attacks and kicks tore apart a piece of the ant’s hard, icy armor.
